Good book. On the level I expect from this author, the ending dragged a little for me though. Other than that I loved the characters and their interaction, and there was a great plot that was well developed.

I truly enjoyed this story. When I first read Payton's story and I saw the underlying currents of Hailey and her men I couldnt wait for Ms. Penn to write her story. Let me say I was not disapointed! I was a little leary of the story dragging considering its length but before I knew it I was at the end and wishing for more. The characters we're written perfectly and their games we're very entertaining. Overall: Great plot, Great dialouge, Great character interaction.

This story had so much potential and it pained me that the dialouge was so weak and trite. The chemistry between them was luke warm at best and combined with her "anything for you" and "I'll try for you" phrases after knowing him for all of 3 days, it slowed this story to a grinding halt. I'm not one to nit pick over how long characters have known each other in a story but for some reason this one threw me. Overall: great plot, poor dialouge.

The story had a really good basis! I loved the charachters and their interactiion with each other. My only complaint is it could have been more developed into a longer story. Which is basically a compliment to the story because I wanted it to last longer.
