Hired by Nick Morietti and Steve Vanguard to decorate their newest hotel, Julianna Lovette is determined to make a name for herself. Nick and Steve’s raw sexuality, however, draws her like a moth to a flame--irresistible, but potentially lethal.

When she becomes their lover, she’s tossed into a world of passion she’s always searched for but thought she’d never find. Dominant and strong, they take her in ways she’d never imagined and earn a submission from her she never thought she’d give.

When passion comes at a price, she has to depend on them to keep her safe from an enemy from Steve’s past. An enemy who’s waited for years for a chance to get revenge. An enemy they believe she works for.

She learns that trust comes at a steeper price--but offers the biggest rewards.

Note: There is no sexual relationship or touching for titillation between or among the men.

5 RAVENS: "I have read hundreds of books and I can honestly say that while many of them have left me not wanting to put them down to sleep, go to work, or get on with life, this is the only one that has caused me to not do those above mentioned things! From page one, this book would not let me go. I stayed up practically all night because I had to know what was going to happen next with Julianna and her two sexy men. I read it during breaks at work and during lunch. I seriously was obsessed with this spectacular love story. Julianna thought she knew what she wanted when she went on a date with a Dom. Turns out, she had no clue. Traumatized, emotional, and devoid of clear thoughts led her into a chance meeting with her two knights in shining armor, Nick and Steve. Embarrassed to be seen in the shape she is in, she doesn’t really understand that these two gorgeous men will become her life. An interior decorator and designer by trade she finds herself with the job of a lifetime, decorating their new 5 star hotel. Ms. Brooke does a phenomenal job of developing a story line that not only has the reader hanging on to every word on every page, but has them lost inside a romance built around trust, demands, and truth. The reader happily goes along for the erotic ride as Julianna finds herself and what makes her happy: hot steaming sex with a demanding, yet caring Dom and his carefree delicious business partner. Crescendo has it all. A heroine who would never imagine herself as one since she is so tall and in her opinion, not very beautiful. Two sexy heroes who are the perfect combination of give and take in and out of her bed. If you are looking for an intense love story on more than one level, then Crescendo is for you. Adventure, suspense, erotica, and a love story so grand it will sweep you off your feet await you in this heartwarming, mind thrilling novel by Ms. Brooke. With over 400 pages, there will be no doubt that you got your money’s worth, and then some." -- Trixie, BlackRaven's Reviews

TOP%20PICK.jpg5 STARS: "I just can't forget this amazing story. CRESCENDO is going on my best ménage stories of 2011 shelf for sure. It's long and suspense-filled and completely delicious. This is one of those Top Picks you really HAVE to look into. It was Fun with a capital F! Nick Morietti and Steve Vanguard find Julianna Lovette driving like a maniac ready to kill someone. When they stop to render aid (or chastise her if she is drunk and driving) they discover a victim of a violent crime. They take her to her home where both of their protective instincts take over. Little does Julianna know that the two men whom she is mortified witnessed the aftermath of a night gone wrong with a Dom are the same men she has applied to work for. When she shows up to interview for the job of decorator for the new Crescendo Hotel, she comes face to face once again with Nick and Steve. And it's pretty clear from the get go that they want her for her body as much as they want her for her mad decorating skills while they are working together. I found it fascinating to have two men who had never shared before struggle to make this work so they can enjoy Julianna for the short time she will be around. They may have been best friends, but they have never had the same taste in women. Until now. They are very different boys. One is a Dom. The other is a typical sex god. Together, they make an interesting yin and yang. Nick's inner Dom likes to make her beg and moan, while Steve's powerful lust is looking for the scream of ecstasy. Talk about having the best of both worlds. But it does come at a price. The two best friends struggle with jealousy and need. There are a couple of suspense plots running right alongside the romance story. An enemy from Steve's military days continues to hunt him. Julianna and Nick become targets to use to get to Steve, so Steve must keep them under the watch of a bodyguard. Someone is also trying to sabotage the hotel project and pin the errors on Julianna. If you took out the romance, the action and suspense alone would hold up as a fabulous read, but add the ménage back in and you have something irresistible. CRESCENDO has it all, edge-of-your*seat suspense, a whose-doing-it mystery, three hot young things searing the sheets and a cadre of buff soldiers standing guard who don't trust anyone. Oh. And an ending that will leave your jaw on the ground while you scratch your head thinking, "How did I not see that?" Menage fans, this needs to go on your must read list. It not only took my heart and my libido for a wild ride, my brain was doing the looptie-loop too. Go forth. Pick this one up. And….Enjoy!" -- Michelle R, The Romance Reviews

5 TEA CUPS: "Ok, first thing first, if you pick this book to read just know that you are addicted immediately. I stayed up all night unable to put it down. It was a fabulous book. Leah brought a book that had everything in it rolled up in the lives of Julianna, Nick and Steve. Julianna Lovette is a designer who had a tough life with being a big girl. Standing almost six feet tall she learned early that no one takes care of you, you take care of your self. Being tuff all the time was taking a toll on Julianna, she wanted more she needed to feel feminine and dainty so she decided to try and be submissive to a dom who didn't know how to be one. So her first experience with being a submissive turned nasty and when Nick and Steve saw her erratic driving they followed her and decided that she wasn't able to take care of herself so they decided to take care of her in more ways than one. Nick Morietti and Steve Vanguard are partners in business and both fell hard for Julianna and knew the only way to have her was to share her something that was new to them and her. Julianna had never seen men as handsome or strong as these two and for them both to want her she just couldn't fathom; they needed small, petite blondes that giggled a lot. Working through all her emotional hang-ups and trying to protect her from unknown dangers, Nick and Steve showed Julianne that being a tall woman was nothing to be ashamed of, it was to be relished in men who were big and tall and more than willing to bring out the woman behind all the tough exterior. The more she fought the attraction the more intriguing she became to them. I have to say Julianna is a woman that can and will have it all if only she can submit to her inner submissive. Leah did a beautiful job of keeping the interest in all the sexual tyrst and how love can replace all the past hurts in life." -- Wendy, Happily Ever After Reviews

4.5 CHERRIES: "'Be careful what you wish for…' you may not be prepared for the overwhelming attention and intensity of two alpha men. Julianna Lovette is confident in her ability to coordinate the redecoration of a multi-million dollar hotel but in not so much in dealing with the enigmatic owners, Nick Morietti and Steve Vanguard. Julianna’s story is one that is easily relatable. She was the tall gangly goose that lived in the shadow of a shallow pampered swan of a step-sister. Julianna has developed into a beautiful person inside and out. That personal growth is conveyed thru the confidence in her work but she struggles to comprehend that she is a beautiful, sexually submissive being. Luckily for Julianna both Nick and Steve are very interested in teaching her just how desirable she is, how being a submissive doesn’t mean she’s weak and how loving two men is the fulfillment of her deepest wishes. Welcome to the incredibly unique and imaginative mind of author Leah Brooke. If this is your first “taste” of Ms. Brooke’s work you are in for a treat. Be prepared to be drawn into the story from the first chapter and still be fully invested 400 pages later. Her stories are always multilayered and sexually intense. One of the hallmarks of Ms. Brooke’s characters is strength. Not just physical strength but confidence. While some characters, like Julianna, may need some convincing of their worth and ability to love, you can see those characters standing so much straighter by the end of the story. Crescendo is a beautiful romance that lives up to its title. The relationship between Julianna, Nick and Steve has many ups and downs but it’s ever building throughout the story. When the three of them finally come together as one unit I could almost imagine an opera singer hitting a high A note. It’s pretty intense to say the least. There’s more than the incredible romance to this novel. There is a sinister evil that is lurking in the background for a large portion of the book but makes itself known in a huge way by the end of the book. So, will Nick and Steve be able to convince Julianna that the three of them together make the perfect family? Will the evil that is hunting Steve destroy their chance for happiness? Okay, so you can probably guess the answers but believe me when I say you want to read this book. Leah Brooke is one of my favorite story tellers and with good reason. Her stories never fail to entertain and keep me waiting anxiously for her next book. Pick up a copy of Crescendo and be prepared for some serious heat, heart stopping adventure and breathtaking romance." -- Honeysuckle, Whipped Cream Reviews

Blowing out a breath, she stared at the tablecloth, knowing that the two glasses of wine she’d had with dinner made it possible to admit the rest. “It’s not an easy thing to ask for. I felt stupid.”

Nick took her hand again before she could stop him and ran his thumb back and forth over her knuckles, making her want him to do the same thing with her nipples. “You’re right. It’s not an easy thing to ask for. It’s not easy for a man either, especially now. It’s lucky we discovered each other’s needs right away, isn’t it? No misunderstandings, no hurt feelings. David didn’t know what he was doing. You need something he could never comprehend.”

Shifting her gaze to Steve, it surprised her to see him watching her so curiously. “David does that kind of thing all the time. No, it’s me, but it doesn’t matter. I’m done with all that. It was a mistake I don’t plan to repeat. I’d like to go home.”

Leaning over her until their faces were only inches apart, Nick touched her thigh again. “Keep them spread.”

She’d already started to close them and stopped at his demand. Meeting his unblinking stare, she did as he said and put her legs back to their previous position. “I think we should go.”

Nick caressed her thigh before removing his hand. “In a minute. Put your hands on the table.”

She hesitated, glancing at Steve. “This is a waste of time.”

“Quiet.” Nick’s sharp reprimand made her jump, but then his voice became low and silky again, making her shiver. “I like knowing that your thighs are spread. Your panties are wet, aren’t they?”

Biting her lip, Julianna remained silent.

“Julianna, I’m waiting for an answer.”

Julianna stared at her hands, drawing a deep breath. “Yes.” She’d never experienced such vulnerability before, their undivided attention sharpening her awareness of her own femininity. Her arousal couldn’t be ignored, and as hard as she tried, she couldn’t resist taking another step into his web of seduction. “Yes.”

Running his fingers over her hand, he kept his voice low. “I’d like to strip you, one piece of clothing at a time until I have you completely naked. Totally at my mercy. Then I’d look at you. I’d lay you on the bed and take my time exploring every inch of you. I’d trace my fingers over your breasts, feeling your soft skin and moving closer and closer to your nipples. Close your eyes.”

Julianna obeyed him, her breasts becoming hot and heavy…achy. She would swear she could actually feel his touch, a touch that made her nipples become even tighter.

A shift on the leather seat later, Nick’s warm breath caressed her cheek. “You want me to touch them. You know the pleasure I can give you, don’t you, little one? Your pussy’s drenched, preparing for me to take you. Your clit throbs, begging for my attention. I know what you want, but I’m not through exploring, so you’ll just have to wait.”

Tightening her hands into fists, she lowered her head, keeping her eyes tightly closed. Her breathing came out ragged, her heart racing. “Y-you’re not?”

She jumped when Nick’s hand moved over her hair. Keeping her eyes closed, she sighed when she felt the tight twist come loose, allowing her hair to fall over her shoulders and down her back.

Nick ran his fingers through the strands. “Of course not, darling. I want to explore every inch of you. When I run my fingers over your stomach, it quivers. Did you think I couldn’t feel it?”

Her breathing came out in pants as her stomach muscles quivered.

How had he done that?

“Hmm. When I slide my hand lower, your breath hitches. Yes, just like that. I run my fingers through your soft curls, knowing that I’m going to have you waxed. I don’t want anything to hide what belongs to me. What belongs to Steve. We want you nice and smooth. Being waxed will make you even more sensitive. Your clit wants attention, but I want you to wait. Will you do that? Will you be patient and wait for me to finish?”

Julianna groaned. More than anything, she wanted to rub her thighs together.

“Keep your thighs spread, Julianna.”

“Oh, God. Please.” Turning her head, she lifted her eyes to his, her arousal growing at the intensity in his dark ones. Glancing at Steve, she reached for his hand without thinking. “I can’t…this is…”

Steve’s eyes flared. He shot a stunned look at Nick but quickly recovered and slid a little closer to her. Reaching out, he took her hand in his.

“Damn, Julianna, you’re incredible.”

Nick skimmed a finger down her cheek. “When I press my finger into you, your sweet little pussy milks it, clenching as if to try to hold it in. You like having it inside you, but it’s not enough. You need more, don’t you, darling?”

Holding on tightly to Steve’s hand, Julianna stared into Nick’s eyes. Her nipples burned. Her clit throbbed unbearably, the hot, little tingles centering there. Thankful that they both leaned close and hid her from view of the other diners, she bit her lip to hold back a moan.

“When I part your folds, I can see your clit, red and shiny. I know it burns, darling.”

A moan escaped before she could prevent it. She could actually feel him there, feel the cool air brush her clit and the heat of his stare on her tender flesh.

“Let me make it better. Just a brush of my fingers…”

She felt it so strongly she actually jolted in her seat. “Oh!” Julianna cried out softly, her mouth quickly covered by Nick’s. It felt so real, as though he’d actually brushed those strong fingers over her clit. The tingles became sharper and spread as she came, a small rush of pleasure that only made her want more. She trembled helplessly in his arms, unable to believe what had just happened.

Swallowing her cries, he swept her mouth with his, his heated kisses gradually becoming soft and lingering. Caressing her back, he held her close until she settled. When he lifted his head, his slow smile made her heart flutter. “Hmm, maybe we should have gone up to our suite after all.”
