Just re-read this after a couple years and the story's still great. Alpha males, feisty heroine, good plot. My only complaint is that is wraps up too neatly but I guess happy endings are what love stories are all about :)

I have become quite used to these stories utilising very little vocab so the good writing style and language use in this story was quite refreshing. I enjoyed the plot which was fairly well-developed. Overall it was a good read.

I didn't read the prequel to this story (Cowboy Sandwich) but as it is a standalone I didn't feel as if I missed anything. Though implausible, the plot was good with a fair amount of character development. This is my first Reece Butler book so it could be the author's writing style but sometimes scenes didn't quite flow, as if sentences linking the sequences of events were missing. I've been into erotic romances for a while and this is the first one I've read with girl-on-girl action. I don't much care for it but it wasn't excessive so it didn't ruin the storyline for me. Overall it was good.
