This first book is better than book 2, for sure. The characters are likeable, but the stories need to be longer and more fleshed out. The insta-love is a bit too much given that this series is not paranormal and there's no mate factor. But at least the first book keeps to the rescue and danger premise pretty nicely. I'll probably give this series one more try before I call it quits, because I do enjoy the big alpha hero pairing with the smaller, more sweet and delicate partner.

Not quite as exciting, dark, and edgy in my opinion as the previous two books, but still a good read with likeable heroes. I'm waiting impatiently for the next one!

I enjoy Lynn Hagen's books and she's typically an auto-buy for me. But I did not connect with Rick, and I found Dorian to be a very unpleasant character in the beginning. He did come around eventually, however, which added a star for me. This world is interesting that Ms. Hagen has created for the series. Overall, I may try the next book.

This is the best Lynn Hagen book to date! This one has it all--two hot heroes, hate that becomes undying love, danger, heartbreak, and romance. I'm eagerly awaiting the next book in this series.

One of Ms. Glenn's best Tri Omega books in quite a while. Plenty of angst and danger, even if the situations are too easily solved sometimes. I enjoyed the story and look forward to more.

This was a good entry in the series, and it was a great idea to show what happens when couples start to take each other for granted. Some very moving scenes. I would rather the story have focused on no more than 2 couples that were having trouble instead of all of them, with the solutions not quite so neat and easy. Would love to have seen things get much worse for the couples before they got better. But I enjoyed the book and look forward the next books in the series.

I enjoyed this one, even though the "world becomes aware of shifters and we must speak to the President to avoid distaster" part toward the end was even more over the top than usual. Nice set-up for the mates' children to grow up and get their stories, which I'll be sure to read. :)

After waiting for this one, I felt it was just okay. Eagle's painful healing after what he'd gone through at Jackson's hands was the most emotional part. But this trio of mates just didn't come together as very memorable for me, nor did the rest of the plot. Still, I look forward to her next books.

Different concept, and very enjoyable characters with great emotion--especially when Rio believes he's lost Collin forever. The ending was a bit unsatisfying and several questions were left unanswered, including the villain's motivation, so I couldn't give it 5 stars. Perhaps the next installment will clear up some of the fog and round out the bad guys for the reader.

Started out pretty exciting and promising, but petered out toward the end with the secret passageway stuff, and no real conclusion to this development with their enemies. More and more of Ms. Glenn's series books are starting to read like "bridge" books with an ongoing plot instead of including one conflict for the heroes that is struggled over and then solved in a decisive way in that book. I enjoyed the heroes, but more development would've made the story excellent. I'll try the next one.

I read tons of m/m romances off all types, and I have to say, this is one of the weirdest stories I've read in a while. The Prologue is confusing, and there seems to be no reason down the line for it to have been included. The story between the two heroes is rushed (insta-luv that is not really developed) and full of holes (*mild spoilers ahead*)-- what happened to Danny's father's body? Why the heck did they just let Danny's murdering mother go free?! Why was there no real closure between Danny and his twin? And the ending was abrupt, leaving too many loose ends. Neither the plot nor the author's world were developed, and I just didn't love the planeswalking thing. Three stars is generous, only because this is a new author to me and I *might* (but no guarantees) try the next book before I give up.

Stormy Glenn is an auto-buy for me, but this one left me wanting more. I liked the characters, who were endearing as usual. However, I didn't like that this book simply felt like a building block to the next stories, with lots of buildup to danger that never happened, and a child that still hasn't been born. Then there's the grandfather/god telling Ein (and the reader) right up front not to worry, that everything will turn out fine in the end (after much danger and struggle that didn't really happen in this book), which sort of takes the anticipation away. I'll probably read the next one just to see if the plot finally gets going and we get the peril and action that seems to be coming--and I'll hope that we have a fully developed, stand-alone story to savor in the series, which is what I'm used to from Ms. Glenn.

I enjoyed this installment of the series very much! I couldn't give 5 stars because we don't learn the results of Gabby's test (I hate when an author holds information about a couple for the next story in the series, when it's not going to be that couple's story anymore!). Also, the reveal of Prince Christian's connection to Gabby and Gabby's reaction to him could've been handled better and I would've liked to see them get to know one another. Overall, though, I loved the story and can't wait for the next one!

This one was much better than Nero's story, and has plenty of plot going on! I loved Heaven and Murdock. The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is because of the way it ended, not knowing what happened with Heaven's current situation. (Do not want to use a spoiler here) We have to wait until the next story to see what happens, but by then it won't be their story anymore. Unanswered questions left at the end of a book regarding the star couple frustrate me. But other than that, it was satisfying. I look forward to Nicholas's story.
