Kelly and Blade’s story actually begins Desire For Three as a background story but continues on in Blade’s Desire with Kelly wanting to move past her traumatic past. She knows she wants Blade but she doesn’t know how much Blade wants her and leads to some crossed wires in communication. Now that I am thinking about it the miscommunication is a result of some BDSM rule breaking. After reading a number of books with BDSM in the relationships, isn’t absolute honesty mandatory in such relationships? Seems to me that both Blade and Kelly should have been more open it would have saved Kelly a lot of heartache and Blade from making a complete mess of things as he made an ass of himself, lol. Overall, Blade’s Desire is a well written and has many steamy fourplay and sex scenes and very few to no edits and a great story line but I do wish that there was more to the none bedroom storylines, like Simon going after Kelly. Even though I had something kind of negative to say I still feel that Blade’s Desire deserves 5 stars especially since this is not the first time I have been sucked into the story. Love the fact that through this series everyone's story grows a little. And each book has its own twist - its not the same story over and over. Love Blade :)

I would say 3.5 stars. I read a different book by this author that was average, but figured I would try a couple more of her books. This one was better, but there was a sex scene in the middle that dragged on. That aside, the scenes in this book were interesting and varied, which I appreciated. This is the first Desire book I've read and while I probably won't read them all, I definitely want to read Creation Of Desire, because of the baby. Plus its Rachel, Boone and Chase's story. I loved their banter in this book! It was my favorite part of this story. One part that bugged me was how Blade demands to know how many men Kelly has slept with. Okay. Reasonable question, but later when she asks him how many women he's been with, he tells her it's none of her business. Excuse me?! You can't pry into your partner's history if you're unwilling to share yours! I liked Kelly, but Blade I went back and forth between liking and wanting to smack him. Lol Overall, a decent read, but book 3 is the one I'm really looking forward to, because it sounds like the woman is just as aggressive as the men.

Ms. Brooke's characters are realistic and loveable. I like that she involves some external plot and not just the "taming." Hot, hot read.

I absolutely love every single book in the Desire Series by Leah Brooke. I just want more and more. I especially love Blade's Desire because the characters seem like complete opposites. The hero totally makes a terrible mistake and yet you still love him and want him to be with the girl in the end. Completely Alpha Male and it is great!

Oh Blade you make my sigh in the best of ways. I loved this book. Kelly's growth as a woman and coming out of her shell. Blade's worry that any man would bring out Kelly's passion. It was a wonderful journey of two people finding who and what they deserve.

i think that this story is so well written and it really pulls you into the story. i think the way blade help's kelly get over her abuse but still does it in a dom way is amazing.
