I normally really love Joyee Flynn's books BUT Good Lord: Here we go again...... DROWNING IN TEARS - This book soould have gotten a '5' - and nearly got a '3' YOU ARE FLOODED BY TEARS AGAIN - that is so off-putting and booring. PLEASE TRY to express feelings in other ways than a sinflood of tears, TRY F.EX.: sorrow, pity, worry, anger, fear, ect. which are FEELINGS Describe their inner turmoil, their facial expressions anything but just one kind of reaction - tears. So that we can get past all these whimpy scenes and on to some varied reactions.

This book would have gotten a '5' if it weren't for one thing - you are flooded in tears - that is so not sexy. It must be possible to express feelings in other ways than a sinflood of tears, f.ex. sorrow, pity, worry, anger, fear, ect. which are feelings and not just one kind of reaction -tears, so that we can get past all these whimpy scenes and on to some varied reactions.

This was pretty cute and kinky in a fun non offensive way. The wolf started out as a big jerk but the penguin was a fighter and wanted by the gorgeous beta. Joyee makes very unconventional uke's in that they have strong characters despite being very kind.

I absolutely loved this story. I cried for Carson and his situation with his other 3 men. The Omega's struggle to keep his own identity within the relationship is what makes this story very interesting to follow. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Have to say I loved this book. I've enjoyed all the midnight matings books, some more than others, but this one was somewhat refreshing compared to the others. Perhaps it's the characters or perhaps its the circumstances, whatever it was it made for a great read. Couldn't put this down from start to finish and I read it again the same week. Another excellent addition to the series.

Another brilliant addition to an already outstanding series. In this one we have two characters who, unlike almost all the other pairings in the series, actually calmly walk into the mating without much fuss or angst. That, in itself, was a nice start. Add to that the fact that the characters just interact so perfectly with each other, the humour, the depth of emotion and the excitement towards the middle and end of the book - this truly is a winner. If you've not already picked up a book in this series, do it :) You'll be pleasantly surprised.
