I love the realistic scenes and settings portrayed in the book. Brighid is an easily likable character. Although it is fiction I can easily pictures these actions taking place in real life. This book was amazing and I can't wait for more from the author.

Great book. Very good mystery/suspense and the relationship between Grace, Sandman, Jay and Duke was hot--but most importantly very emotional amd intense. I especially loved how Grace fought to stay/keep her independence, even if it was sometimes to her detriment. Overall, a great story with strong characters.

Not one of my favorite books from this author. Mariana was OK, as was Jameson, but Jax was ridiculously overbearing, amd not in a good way. I love a good alpha male, but Jax came off as a jerk most of the time, with little to no caring for Mariana's feelings. The relationship felt very rushed; I didn't feel a deep connection between the trio.

Another awesome book by Dixie. I was hoping that Rusty and Reece would get their story told and man did they ever, along with their two brothers, Tobin and Pat. I loved it when she realized that all 4 were brothers!!! The whole book just sucked me right in and I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning reading it. Awesome job Dixie!!

Good book. I liked the way CC took control of her life and I especially liked the mystery of her boyfriend and brother-in-law's death. As with most of the stories in this series though, I felt the ending and final conflict was too rushed. There needed tobe a more steady buildup of tension and drama.

Another wonderful book. I love c.c. and how strong she was after all the death around her. She found herself and true love in treasure island and it almost cost her life. Thank you Dixie!!!!

First of all Dixie never disappoints. I love her stories and her characters are so truly caring and interesting. C.C. was a good woman that has dealt with a lot. Fate stepped in and landed her in Treasure Town. Kyle, Frank, Mercury, and Jenks oh so yummy and each dominating in their own way. Each one brings something different to the story as does C.C. and when the plot thickens with the arsonist/murderer after one of their own they prove how close thy are to one another. Like I said I love everything about the story the characters are great along with the interesting names , the suspense and those oh so sexy love scenes made this a hit for me.

Ms. Dwyer has done it again. This story sucked me in from the very start. I love how C.C. and the men meet, how they interact at the beginning of their relationship. How protective they are of her. This story has just the right mix of romance and suspense. The motivation of the villain of the story, which I for one had not read before. Already I can not wait for the next book she writes to come out.

Just OK. This book felt....like a bit of a throwaway in that it didn't have the emotion I've come to expect from this author. It felt and read very "paint by numbers." Even down to the the same phrasing used in the last few books. Literally, every time a heroine has had sex in the last 3 or so books she's uttered "Oh my God this is so wild." This kind of repetition I probably wouldn't notice except that the author releases a new book every month or so, so you can't help but notice the patterns and repetition. Also the ending was very rushed. Overall, not one of my favorite books from DLD?

Wow, every time that I read a story written by Ms. Dwyer I know that my emotions are going to be all over the place. I know that there will be tears from sadness but there would also be tears because of happiness. When I started reading this story and read the prologue I couldn’t believe what was happening to this poor young woman. While I was reading I could feel the pain that Sophie felt by the hands of a monster. He was a monster that deserved the worst kind of pain and I could think of a few things but can’t say them on paper but in my head of course. When Jeremy was willing to take Sophia away from Mateo and his right hand man I knew he was risking not only his case but himself because if they found out what he did they would kill him. Jeremy knew that he couldn’t trust the agency but there were some men in Treasure Town that he could call and they would keep Sophia safe. Lew, Cedric, Gideon and Andreas were ex-Navy Seals that were going to protect Sophia a woman that had been through so much. They didn’t know the extent of what she went through but sooner or later they would know what scare she had on her body. Sophia tried to feel safe in what would be her new home but being surrounded by four huge guys and not get scared. They tried to get her to go into town and try to be a little normal but she couldn’t. Every time that she looked in the mirror and saw her mark she knew she needed to do something but she knew she needed to fib in order to get it done. She knew that Mateo and his right hand man were out there and sooner or later they would find her. But she also knew she needed to start living again and before she would follow through with her feelings she needed to have something covered up. That was what she needed to do in order to start over again get the second chance she knew she deserved. Her men were going to keep her safe and protect her with everything they had but one night they weren’t able to protect her. Hearts on Fire: Healing Sophia was an exceptional read. I love reading about second chances and love it even more when there is this instant chemistry that they can’t fight no matter how much they want. This story was fast paced and the characters were well developed. I love how descriptive this story was. Ms. Dwyer’s writing is flawless and captivating. The chemistry between these five characters was sizzling HOT, intense and passionate. There was something special about Sophia because she really was so strong and so brave. She went through something traumatic and no matter what she was able to open herself to love again and not only with one man but with 4. These men were special and they loved her and they gave the space she needed and they got her use to their touch to their presence. Sophia was able to get on with her life but knew that there was danger but as soon as the mark was gone and she couldn’t see it any longer it was like she was reborn. Sophia wanted to find love in Lew, Gideon, Cedric and Andreas and she wanted to be loved and that she was. I can’t wait for the next book!!!!

wow! I think this is one of my favorite's of Dixie's so far. I can't imagine the things that Sophia has been through but I love the way the men in her life don't stop fighting for her. Awesome book!!!

I loved this story. What poor Sophia had to go through with her boyfriend I couldn't imagine that anyone would be ok after this. Then she meets four amazing strong men who are perfect for her. Another great hit!

Very good book. Is it generally the same formula and story as most of the author's other books? Yes. But very few authors do alpha military heroes like DLD. Sometimes the heroes can be too overbearing or the heroine too downtrodden and scared, but there was a really nice balance in this book. The heroes were serious yet sensitive; not overwhelming. Sophia was frightened but not paralyzed by fear. She was tentative without going overboard in her reactions. I liked that she was rational. There was a nice hint of future stories with Tank, Hector and Cindy arms well as Jeremy, his brothers, and Catalina. Overall, one of the author's better book.
