Book #66, Suncoast Society series. Tymber Dalton strikes a chord that will leave you entranced and spellbound from the first page! Leaving Sarasota and moving to California is the biggest mistake Niall Renard's ever made. He felt there wasn't a choice. Crippling student loans left him in an never ending loop of debt. His biggest regret? Leaving Aden Lopez behind. Soul mates from the beginning, Aden had just begun to find stability for the first time. He's not willing to chance losing what he's worked so hard to build. Although it leaves a soul-deep fracture in their hearts, Niall releases Aden and walks out of his life. Fast forward five years. Niall's finally come to his senses. Yes, moving to California erased his student debt. But at what cost? There's an Aden-sized hole in his heart. When Niall agrees to teach erotic hypnosis at a fetish convention in Tampa, he could never know it would totally upend his life. Over the past five years, Aden's never stop loving Niall. But he's moved on. Etsu Faulk has worked her way into his heart. There's no doubt he loves her. Their BDSM dynamic is unique, fulfills both. There's just one problem, Etsu's overprotective, judgmental family. They've destroyed every relationship Etsu's ever had. When Aden surprises Etsu with tickets to the fetish convention in Tampa, both will find their lives forever changed. As Niall, Aden, and Etsu cross paths, a life-threatening event terrorizes Etsu and Aden. It's Niall who saves her life. Aden's grateful, but he's also angry, resentful, and confused. He's never hidden his past from Etsu, nor has he kept his ongoing love for Niall a secret. But for Niall to show up and expect them to pick up where they left off? No! Unthinkable! As Aden's heart is torn in two, what can he do? He loves Etsu. To abandon her is unimaginable. But his love and devotion to Niall is as strong as ever. Conflicted? Oh, yes! When Niall comes up with a possible solution, it's beyond belief! Aden thinks Niall's lost his mind. But sometimes it takes a gigantic leap of faith, holding onto every shred of hope, and embracing the impossible to make dreams come true. When Etsu's life and happiness are threatened again, it's Niall who again saves her. The obstacles in their path seem insurmountable. Can Aden forgive Niall? Will he let him back into his life? What of Etsu? Aden can't abandon her especially when she needs him most. The answer is right in front of them. It's evident to everyone around them. Are they too blind to see it? Can they reach beyond the past, reach for the future? Or will all three lives be splintered into shards that can never be repaired? The heartache, broken trust, new beginnings, and the limitless possibilities in Empty-Handed Heart are riveting. Aden, Niall, and Etsu will pull you in and break your heart. Niall and Aden's past and present collide in explosive ways with Etsu caught squarely in the middle. The tension, devastation, and regrets radiate off the pages and hit me full force. Niall's focus on his goals and his apparent selfishness pull him and Aden apart in heartrending ways. Etsu is the glue that mends Aden's shattered soul. But these characters' willingness to embrace uncertainty, go after what they want, regardless of the odds against them, are truly inspiring! From the beginning, Niall puts his goals above everything else. Aden and Etsu demonstrate every aspect of the BDSM lifestyle: the infinite variety, nuances, and intrinsic beauty. But it's the compelling understanding of not just the BDSM world but of people, how events mold life choices, and the healing power of forgiveness that make this story so compelling. This story's intensity captivated me. Ms. Dalton always demonstrates an intuitive understanding of life. It's often cruel, mercilessness, and painful. But, as always, Ms. Dalton shows that love freely given allows people to rise above everything, forgive, transcend the pain. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton, on yet another absolutely stunning story. Empty-Handed Heart deserves nothing less than five stars! One final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this book may not be for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author! She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

From the moment Rusty met Eliza in high school, he knew he loved her. But are things ever really that simple? While Rusty may be happy, responsible, and loving on the outside, he carries darkness deep in his soul, darkness he's never revealed to anyone. As Rusty and Eliza become friends, Rusty's utterly devoted to her. Despite that, Eliza's certain she'll never marry. And Rusty has responsibilities that would crumble a man twice his age. As their lives move forward with LARPing, SCA, ren fair, and martial arts activities, the two develop trust, rely on each other, form a gothic-type relationship. Eliza's the lady fair, Rusty the knight in shining armor. Rusty's Eliza's barbarian. Eliza's Rusty's rock, the force that secures him. But Eliza knows the darkness in Rusty's soul is ever present. She can't push him. If he's ever going to open up, it'll be on his terms, in his time. Eliza could never have been prepared when that time comes. Anger, loathing, and hatred erupt in Eliza when Rusty's secret's revealed. And it's up to her to protect her barbarian, her knight. But at what cost? What happens when Rusty realizes he's opened his soul to Eliza? How can they deal with the consequences of his confession, the aftermath? It's not easy. But as the future passes and the threat seemingly disappears, Rusty locks the trauma behind steel doors in his mind. Is it gone? Absolutely not! But he and Eliza have an unbreakable foundation. Their lives move on. Then, after nearly 30 years, Rusty's past returns, wreaking havoc, ripping his soul to shreds. It's up to Eliza to pull her barbarian back from the brink. Can she? Does Rusty even want her to? The doors behind which he'd locked that agony are shattered. Old trauma returns with a vengeance, ready to destroy everything. Does Eliza have the strength to give her knight what he needs? Or will all they've built, their love, trust, and devotion, be totally annihilated? This book hit me on such a deeply personal level that there were times I had to literally stop and take a break. I've never had to do that with one of Ms. Dalton's books before. This is a look at the BDSM world through the lens of a Domme and her sub. It's utterly fascinating. Rusty and Eliza's love, their BDSM dynamic, and how it formed over the span of their lives to the present is a wrenching, heartbreaking, and life-affirming story well worth reading. These two fit together like two interlocking pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Their love is undeniable. The trauma is so very real. As I already stated, this hit me a little too close for comfort at times. Rusty's past absolutely shattered me. But the affirmations of hope, belief, love, and absolute trust that Rusty and Eliza share filled me with joy and the deepest hope that love can conquer even the most gut-wrenching situations. Rusty and Eliza's story reflects truth in so many ways. Ms. Dalton always shows her understanding of not just the BDSM world but of people, how life events shape and mold our life choices, and the power that genuine love has to heal. She also demonstrates an innate understanding of life, that it can deal out all sorts of cruelty and horror. But, as always, she's also shown that love truly gives us the ability to rise above any trauma and transcend the pain. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton, on yet another absolutely stunning story. One final note. Please be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you already know you won't enjoy this genre, this book may not be for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. SPOILER ALERT: WHILE THIS BOOK MAY BE READ AS A STANDALONE, IT'S HELPFUL TO READ THE PREVIOUS BOOKS WHICH STAR CALI, MAX, AND SEAN. THESE INCLUDE CRAFTY BASTARDS (#12), AS WELL AS KINKO DE MAYO (#21), HAPPY SPANK PATRICK'S DAY (#47), THIS MOODY BASTARD (#50), AND HAPPY SPANKSGIVING (#62). IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THESE BOOKS, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. There's typical chaos at Cali, Max, and Sean's house. Cali's trying to work on the books for their business, Two Crafty Bastards while Max is making their "toys," and all Sean wants to do is play. Especially when Sean's dressed in an inflatable T-Rex costume! Cali's about to go nuts! Finally Cali sics Max on Sean, and, for at least a time, peace reigns. Venture has been shorthanded ever since Mallory and had her miscarriage, and various members have been volunteering to cover for Kel and Mal's absence. The devastation caused by Mal's loss of their baby hasn't just affected the couple but their friends as well. It's Cali, Max, and Sean's weekend to volunteer, and it's during that weekend that several member of the Suncoast Society have epiphanies, none more so than Cali, Sean, and Max. Friendship is precious, something to be cherished. But what's just as precious is the ability to know when to jump in and help (always a friend's first impulse) and when to listen, hold confidences, and give the friend time and space to work out the twists and turns in their own personal journeys. This story is one of support, love, caring, and learning when to grab on, when to back off, and (most difficult of all) when to walk back to give that space that true friends understand. The lessons learned that afternoon and evening will stay with Cali, Max, and Sean, as well as several other members of Venture and the Suncoast Society, for a very long time. Tymber Dalton's books always demonstrate her extraordinary and innate understanding of human nature, none more so than this one. Each individual situation highlighted in this book, from Mal and Kel's heartbreak, to Rusty and Eliza's current distress, to Cali, Sean, and Max's triad squabbles, and more is highlighted in exquisite detail. It's not just the difficulties the various members of the Suncoast Society experience. It's the true friendship, the bond that holds these people together, that made me once again realize that friendship is about much more than just words and pushing your way into a friend's life when trouble hits. There are nuances, times to hold back, times to jump in and take action, and times when, not matter how much your heart aches for the people you love, you have to walk back and let them have their own time and space to recover. Tymber Dalton understands this and has been able to use her words to communicate these subtle but oh so important truths. This was a quick read but it drives home the true meaning of friendship in every way. Thank you, , Ms. Dalton, for your understanding, empathy, and most of all, your ability to communicate these subtle but all important truths to your readers. One final note. Please be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM/sexual scenes. This book may not be for you if you already know you won't enjoy this genre. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. SPOILER ALERT: THIS IS THE BOOK #4 IN THE SOUTHERN SUPERNATURAL ALPHAS SERIES. IF YOU HAVEN'T READ BOOKS #1 THROUGH #3, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. Are things ever as they seem? Magical beings surround us while we're unaware of their existence. Avery Williams has survived a childhood filled with trauma and pain. Making one bad life choice after another, she barely escapes with her life and the one thing that makes her life worthwhile...her daughter, Rylee. But neither escapes unscathed, and neither has a clue how much the supernatural has already touched them. Both carry scars, visible and invisible, from which they may never heal. All Avery wants is peace. But that's a pretty tall order for a woman on the run from The Brotherhood, the most vicious motorcycle gang around, She also has no clue she's landed right smack in the middle of what could be her worst nightmare. Her new neighbors, Sam and Gage Dalton, take more than a casual interest in Avery, but she wants nothing to do with them. They may be drool-worthy but she's been down this road before. All she sees is more big, scary men trying to dominate her. Is it really too much to ask for some simple peace? It just might be. You see, Sam, Gage, and the entire town of Shadetree are far more than they appear. As the brothers slowly pull Avery's secrets from her, a volatile mix forms that could explode at any second. And that might just happen sooner than later! Events are hurled at Avery at breakneck speed, and she just may break. She has feelings for Gage and Sam. The Brotherhood has tracked her down. Sam and Gage reveal they're not only Lycans but the Alphas of their Texas Pack. Can anyone say holy freaking wolfmen? Add in Gage and Sam declaring Avery's their fated mate. Who wouldn't go off the deep end? She's got to get out of this crazy town! Only this time, running may be impossible. The Brotherhood's not what she thought either. Who can Avery trust? She knows she's in too deep. There just might not be a way out. As the net closes tighter and tighter and old allies and new friends team up, can it be enough? Or will old enemies and vengeances tear everything apart? Either way, one thing is clear. This time Avery can't sit back and let life steamroll her. This time she has to fight for herself and Rylee. Can she do it? Sara Anderson weaves a spell around you in the blink of an eye without you even realizing it. She's so in tune with her characters that the story flows effortlessly. When you read one of Ms. Anderson's books, it's like opening the book and simply falling into another world. From the moment you meet Avery, you sense her sassiness, sarcasm, and defiance are covering far deeper issues. Sam and Gage are intriguing. Their characters are built with layers upon layers. And they are mesmerized by Avery and Rylee. Rylee is a delight! She sucked me in and held me captive too. This precious little girl shines with potential, and is the pivot point in the relationship between Sam, Gage, and Avery. The interplay of gentleness between Sam and Gage and Avery and Rylee juxtaposed with the take-no-prisoners, battle-hardened warriors of Sam and Gage's pack and their allies is another huge draw. The battle between good and evil is omnipresent. This story held me hostage from page one, and I couldn't stop reading until I finished it. Sara Anderson has true talent, and I adore this series. I couldn't give Alphas' Embrace anything less than 5 stars. Congrats, Ms. Anderson, on a riveting story! One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this book may not be for you. Bryce Butler knows both success and failure. He's one of the best attorneys around. But his love and personal life? He's 35, a Dom without a sub, been through countless relationships, none of which have stuck. And although he's gay, he's always wanted kids. Where can he find the perfect man to fit his lifestyle and needs? Dustin Poole is a 45-year-old real estate agent. He's gay too and a sub who's had one heck of a time trying to find a Dom. Usually some young twink is looking for a sugar daddy. There's also the opposite side of the coin...older Doms who want to take advantage of Dustin. And Dustin does not want kids. But the Frightful Five of the Suncoast Society take matters in hand. After meeting at Venture, Bryce and Dustin seem fated to finally have what both seek. Is it a problem that Dustin's Dom is 15 years younger than him? Not to Bryce. It makes Dustin a tad uneasy at first, but their chemistry is off the charts. As the relationship shifts into high gear, sometimes moving a little too fast, a little too soon, for the men's comfort, Dustin makes his views on children well-known. But this time Bryce knows what he has. Children become a non-issue. That is, until Kira reappears. Bryce's best friend from childhood. Kira means the world to him. But she comes with a secret that could destroy everything for Bryce and Dustin. When it comes down to a choice between what Kira needs and the perfect relationship between Bryce and Dustin, what can Bryce do? He's ripped apart. His heart is pulling him in both directions. Does he do what his best friend wants, absolutely needs? Or does he turn away from her and chase his own happiness at her expense? Either way, someone's going to be crushed, maybe destroyed to the point of never recovering. Bryce's decision will affect them all in ways they never saw coming. The question remains, will any of the three survive this storm? Although Tymber Dalton's books are always extraordinary, this one ripped the heart right out of me. These three characters touched me in a way that I haven't felt since I read Ms. Dalton's The Reluctant Dom (and that's truly saying something). At the beginning, you feel Bryce's and Dustin's frustration, anger, and pain at trying so hard and missing the mark every time. Once they get together, you feel their joy, deep satisfaction, and heartfelt love. But when Kira enters the picture, the story went soul-deep. These three characters, their interactions, the cross-purposes, the decisions they all have to make, particularly Bryce, brought me to tears over and over again. It's not an exaggeration to say I literally cried my way through this book. Tymber Dalton is always wonderful but this book? This one is beyond special. My heart ached for Bryce, Kira, and Dustin. Just writing this review brings tears to my eyes. You absolutely have to read this book. This is Tymber Dalton at her very best. I couldn't give this book anything less than five stars. Thank you, again, Ms. Dalton, for your fantastic storytelling. One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM/sexual scenes. SPOILER ALERT: THIS SERIES DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE READ IN ORDER: THE PREQUEL, FOLLOWED BY BOOKS 1 THROUGH 5. IF YOU DO NOT DO SO, THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS. When last we left the Kinsey-Paulson family, it had been one hell of a ride! In the aftermath of a hurricane, after Zoey's traumatic rape at the hands of Cole Johnson, and Cole's mysterious murder, Nevvie is the police's number one suspect. The fact that she publicly threatened the Cole in front of multiple witnesses certainly doesn't help. But Nevvie's innocent. And Ty and Tom aren't about to let her take the fall for something she didn't do. While most believe the Cole got what he deserved, it's still a guessing game as to who's responsible for his murder. Zoey wasn't his only victim. The pool of suspects grows by leaps and bounds. But the police remain focused on Nevvie. Why? The evidence points to her innocence. And not only is Nevvie the prime suspect, someone's now stalking the entire family. Who's after them now and why? Is it the paparazzi after Ty? After all, he's a famous author. Any juicy tidbit is more than enough to send the tabloids into a frenzy. Or is it just the murder itself? It's huge news, especially with the number of victims that have come forward. Little do Tom, Ty, and Nevvie know their problems are much closer to home than they could ever realize. As the police continue to focus on Nevvie, time's running out. Who killed Cole? Can Nevvie prove her innocence? And what about the stalker? Who is it? What do they want? All this uncertainty, anxiety, and suspicion has brought back Nevvie's past with a vengeance. When Nevvie is literally attacked by the last person anyone would suspect, will she survive? Or will Tom, Ty, and their children lose the glue that holds their family together? One thing is certain. Unless Tom, Ty, and the rest of the family pull together and listen to their instincts, Nevvie will be gone forever, and their lives will never be the same! I adore this series! It was one of the first written by Tymber Dalton I ever read. It was timely and exceptional when I originally read the series. It remains so today. I love Tyler, Tom, and Nevvie. They are the very heart and soul of this series. No one could ask for a better group of characters as the basis of a series. As other characters have weaved in and out of the series, these three are so special and unique. The progression of their relationship, from the prequel all the way through this newest addition to the series, is incredible and deeply emotional in ways you never see coming. Their deep, unconditional love is inspirational. The heartbreaking tragedies will tear your heart to pieces. The heights of joy and everyday interactions between Nevvie, Tom, and Ty, their family, and friends, make this series absolute perfection. Ms. Dalton has not only continued this series after a break of several years but she's added layers upon layers to grab your heart from the very beginning. The ending is totally unexpected and, as always, left me wanting more. Tymber Dalton is, as always, beyond comparison. Thank you, Ms. Dalton, for listening to Ty, Tom, and Nevvie again and writing their continued story. You are so very special and truly talented! One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. SPOILER ALERT: THIS SERIES DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE READ IN ORDER: THE PREQUEL, FOLLOWED BY BOOKS 1 THROUGH 4. IF YOU DO NOT DO SO, THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS. It's been close to 20 years since we last saw Tyler, Tom and Nevvie. Tyler's still a successful novelist. His latest book tour has taken him away from his loves and family far too long. He's at the end of his rope. As he's ready to return home for the peace he craves, his past reaches out to haunt him yet again. He's torn. Can he simply ignore this? He wants to. But he has the chance to get answers to more than 30 years of emotional pain and uncertainty. Isn't that worth it? After much introspection and soul searching, he decides he can't spit in the face of his good fortune. As he and Tom head out, he can't possibly know the emotional impact all this will have on him and Tom. Tyler's sensitive and emotional. Tom's the strength of the triad. But can even Tom's steadying presence be enough to get Tyler through this emotional firestorm? Meanwhile, Nevvie's left at home alone with Mikey, Zoey, and Willow, a hurricane brewing and bearing down on them. Her life before Tom and Tyler was pure hell in many ways. But it made her who she is...strong, passionate, and a fierce protector of her men and children. Little does she know she's about to be tested in ways she could never have seen coming. Her past too will come back to haunt her anew and bring with it horrors she could never have imagined. Can Ty and Tom find their way through the emotional minefield facing them and make it home intact? What about Nevvie and the kids? Is it even possible for Nevvie to deal with the demons threatening to overtake her again? What fresh hell awaits the entire family? One thing is crystal clear. The only thing that gives even a shred of hope will be their unconditional love for each other and the resilience they've shown time and again. The question remains, can they find it? This series was one of the first written by Tymber Dalton that I ever read. It was exceptional when I originally read the first five books. It remains exceptional today. I absolutely adore Tyler, Tom, and Nevvie. These three characters hold a very special place in my heart. Unique doesn't come close to describing them, individually or collectively. Without any one of them, the series just doesn't work. Their deep, unconditional love, the soul-deep tragedies, the spiraling heights joy, and all the everyday interactions between them, their family, and friends, all make this series absolute perfection. Once again, Ms. Dalton does not disappoint. With this book, she's seamlessly continued a story that grabs you by the heartstrings from the first word and leaves you wanting more after the end. And I highly advise you have a crying towel or a box or two of tissues handy when reading any book in this series, including this one. You're going to need them! Tymber Dalton is, as always, beyond comparison. Thank you, Ms. Dalton, for bringing us Ty, Tom, and Nevvie again. I'm so grateful they spoke to you once again! You are so very special and truly talented. One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. It seems someone from the past has come back to haunt the triad...literally! As a nightmare descends on Cali, Max, and Sean, each struggles to come to terms with the situation. It's Max and Sean who are the hardest hit, but Cali's not unaffected. With the party date closing in fast, there are so many unanswered questions. Who? How? Why? Happy-go-lucky Sean is alternately depressed, furious, and has no idea how to deal. Max, strong and silent, doesn't talk much, but it's clear he's as stunned and horrified as Sean. And Cali? She's affected too, but she's worried for her guys more than anything. But the triad's strength is in their love and trust in each other. The question is, can Cali make a difference? She has a plan, but will Sean and Max understand? And will any of the three be able to put the past where it belongs, in the past forever? Will this be a Happy Spanksgiving...or not? I absolutely adore Tymber Dalton's party books. The fun, games, and oh-so-hot BDSM play are always absolutely delicious. But there's also always a story behind the party, one that's always packed with emotions of every kind. Happy Spanksgiving took me by surprise, even after I read the synopsis. But, as always, I flew through this book and loved every second of it. All the characters, Sean, Cali, Max, as well as all the supporting characters, are long-time friends if you've read the series. And this triad has a very special place in my heart. I fell further in love with each of them as they experienced horror, grief, forgiveness, and ultimately realized the power of the unconditional love they share. And, as always, the party itself is a combination of hotness, frivolity, laughter, and a genuine sense of family, which is exactly what this group is. Tymber Dalton has a very special way of bringing each character to vivid life in a very real way. This book deserves more than five stars! That's just how special it is. Happy Spanksgiving is another winner! Congratulations, Tymber Dalton! This is an absolutely outstanding book! One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM/sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author! She works extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

SPOILER ALERT: THIS BOOK IS A FOLLOW UP TO A CASE OF YOU, HEARTACHE SPOKEN HERE, AND ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES (BOOKS #58, #54 AND #55, RESPECTIVELY). IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THESE BOOKS, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. Tracey's finally rebuilding her life. But is she ready? She's rid herself of Pat, her abusive ex-husband. She's mended her relationship with her daughter, Emma. Her first husband, Brandon, and his two husbands, Jeff and Stuart, have welcomed her into their loving family. Going back to school, living on her own, furthering her career...life's coming together. There's just one proviso. Brandon, Jeff, Stuart, Emma, and Grace all get approval rights when it comes to Tracey's next relationship. But that's never happening. Tracey's positive of that! Then tragedy strikes. Tracey's beloved cousin dies. While she mourns Cara's loss, the thought of returning to California for the funeral more than fills her with dread for so many reasons. Meanwhile, Eric Martin, Tracey's high school boyfriend, is rebuilding his own life. He's never gotten over Tracey. And he's suffered his own losses, terrible losses for which he blames himself. When he hears about Cara's death through his best friend, Cara's brother, JJ, he makes plans to attend the funeral. But returning to California isn't high on his wish list either. All that changes when Tracey and Eric meet again. It's like they were never apart. But all too soon they're forced to return to their separate lives. Despite promises to stay in touch, circumstances keep them apart. But fate's not yet done. When Eric's job takes him to Florida, his new boss is none other than Brandon. As Brandon and Eric build a friendship, neither is aware of the other's role in Tracey's life. When the unthinkable occurs, it pits Brandon against Eric with Tracey squarely in between. It looks like Tracey's agreement with Brandon, Jeff, Stuart, Grace, and, most importantly, Emma, has just doomed Tracey and Eric. Is it possible to win any of them over? Even if the rest were willing, it's Emma who's the pivot point. And there's no way in hell she'll ever approve of Eric! Not after what Pat and his son put her through. Not after what Emma sees as Eric's betrayal of Tracey. Is there any way for Tracey and Eric to win? Can it all be over in the blink of an eye? Can anyone, especially Emma, ever reach beyond the past and see Eric for who he really is? Or will Tracey have to choose between her new-found family and the love of her life? What more can I say about Tymber Dalton that I haven't already said? She's superb. As always, Ms. Dalton has written a story filled with emotions of every kind, from one end of the spectrum to the other. I was already in love with each of these characters. I just fell farther and harder while reading this book. The depths and heights of hope, possibility, tragedy, genuine fear and terror, all-consuming joy, forgiveness, love, and family made me alternately laugh out loud, cry genuine tears of sorrow, and cheer for what I hoped would be a happily-ever-after for everyone (as improbable as it often seemed). I wish I could give this book more than five stars. That's just how perfect it is. I give Blues Beach my highest recommendation. Congratulations, Tymber Dalton! You've outdone yourself again! SPOILER ALERT: The characters in this book appear in prior books in this series. It's highly recommended you read Cardinal's Rule (#2), Click (#17), Impact (#32), Happy Valenkink's Day (#44), and Borderline (#57) prior to this book. If you haven't read these, this review may contain spoilers. We return to visit Tilly, Landry, Cris, and Bob. When last we left them, things were a bit up in the air. After decades of loving Tilly, only to be crushed by Cris' return with his Master, Landry, Bob thought he'd lost her forever. But life has a strange way of sometimes forging steel out of the fires of adversity. Just when Bob thought all hope was gone, Landry, Tilly's husband and Dom, slowly pulls Bob into their family. But how will this affect the triad? As time goes on, Bob seems to have finally found his place. Things start settling in. But Tilly puts her foot down. She wants to take things slowly, VERY slowly. Cris has his own reasons for caution. While Bob has absolutely no problem with Tilly's gradual pace, it's Landry, ever the sneaky sadist, who has plans of his own. What does the crafty sadist have in mind? With their insanely busy careers split between coasts and continents, a young toddler to raise, the craziness following wherever they go, it seems life's always going to get in the way. But Landry steps in and does what he does best...be himself! As Landry plans his manipulations, Tilly's not unaware of the his agenda. While the game is deadly serious, she enjoys matching wits with him just as much as he does with her. As Tilly comes to realize she may just be wrong, and Landry feels sure of victory, it's Cris and Bob who have epiphanies that just may ultimately decide the quad's fate. But can a poly quad truly find happiness? Is it possible Tilly's been right all along? Will Landry's plots and schemes ultimately work? Or will they backfire completely and destroy what the group already has? And what of Cris and Bob? Can two former enemies form a loving and unbreakable bond? The happiness of all four, not to mention their young daughter, hangs in the balance. Ultimately, it will take trust of monumental proportions and a depth of love and commitment that may well be impossible to achieve. The question is, can these four do what it takes to build the life they need? Tymber Dalton's Suncoast Society books are the very best, most realistic BDSM books I've ever read. She's weaves elements of BDSM with day-to-day details of her characters' lives into emotionally-gripping stories that reach deep into the reader's psyche and soul. She has an innate understanding of human nature. A vibrant part of a real-life BDSM community, she brings her own life experience to every book she writes. I love Tilly, Landry, Cris, and Bob. This story had me laughing, hopeful, joyful, crying, anxious, and afraid for every one of these characters. Is the BDSM hot? Absolutely! But my love for this book goes far beyond just the BDSM. These people are real, compelling in a way that's extremely rare. I ALWAYS have a box of tissues handy when reading any Tymber Dalton book. The emotions are rich, raw, and unfailingly honest and real. This story is unique in every way. I give Never Too Late For Love 5 stars. If I could give it more, I would. Thank you, Tymber Dalton, for giving us the richly-detailed story of these beloved characters. This book is exceptional! You're truly one of the most impressive authors I've ever read! One final note. Please be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. Reconsider Me (MM) by Tymber Dalton (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )

This reviewer's rating: 5 - Outstanding

Fenton White's not what he seems. Yes, he's successful in business. He's definitely gay, maybe even a bit of a stereotype. But he has so many facets to his character, and he just doesn't understand why, time after time, he ends up with the wrong guys. His relationships never last. Why? He has just ONE, just ONE, hard limit! But, while each and every guy he meets initially says "sure, no problem" to that limit, they've ALL lied. Why can't he find someone who'll accept him for exactly who and what he is? Is that really too much to ask? Or is he too damaged for anyone to ever accept him for himself? Joel Burch was burned and run out of Mobile by a psychotic ex-lover who outed him, got him fired, and destroyed his relationship with his family. He had to start over from scratch in Florida, and he's as gun-shy as they come. He's kept to himself while he built his business from scratch. He's lonely and lost. He doesn't want one-night stands or meaningless hookups. He wants his happily-ever-after, a husband. But just where does he go to find this? As mutual friends bring Fen and Joel together, there's an immediate spark, a connection, that neither has ever felt before. They both know they have to take it slowly. They've both been burned before. But they can't fight the draw, the rightness, they feel. Just as things seem to be working perfectly, tragedy strikes. It shakes Joel to his very foundation and has the potential to tear his newfound happiness to shreds. It also means a return to Mobile for Joel and Fen. Can Fen be there for Joel? Is it possible for their newly-found happiness to withstand the storms that await them? Can Joel deal with what he finds when he returns to Mobile? Or will everything come crashing down around him? With stunning twists and turns crashing into them from every angle, will Joel's and Fen's happiness survive, or will it all go up in flames, devastating each man yet again? This story grabbed me and pulled me in from the first page. Fen and Joel are so genuine with real lives and problems, but their individual stories are incredibly unique. I love that this book shows yet another of the incredibly diverse and beautiful aspects of the BDSM lifestyle. Most people have no idea whatsoever of the infinite variety and beauty of this lifestyle. Tymber Dalton is very much aware of this, and demonstrates it in each of her Suncoast Society books. Fen's and Joel's backstories are haunting and filled with pathos. Their relationship is hopeful, loving, heartrending, and redemptive. I felt every second of their pain, hope, uncertainty, joy, crushing despair, and ultimate love. As always, I couldn't put this book down. Tymber Dalton is my favorite author. She crosses genres effortlessly and is equally brilliant in each of them. I absolutely adore her BDSM books. It's no secret I'm fascinated by this lifestyle. Ms. Dalton actually lives the lifestyle, and it shows in her books. She writes about real-life BDSM, its beauty, incredible diversity, and sense of community. She's an astute observer of every aspect of life. She takes that knowledge and weaves it into incredibly genuine storylines. This book is yet another example of her awesome creative ability. In my opinion, she's truly one of the most talented authors I've ever read! I give Reconsider Me my very highest recommendation. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! Thank you, Ms. Dalton. You've once again outdone yourself. You're a mistress of your art, and your writing is beyond exceptional! One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. SPOILER ALERT: THIS IS THE THIRD BOOK IN THIS SERIES. IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE PRIOR TWO BOOKS, PLEASE DON'T READ THIS REVIEW AS IT MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. The world's not what it seems. It's a place where humans live their lives totally unaware of the supernatural surrounding them. But Rachel's all too aware of those forces. Quite by chance, she finds herself at the mercy of the Vampire Mortef, true evil incarnate. But Mortef soon realizes the prize he holds in Rachel, what she truly is, something she herself knows nothing about. All she knows is she's been violated in the most horrific ways. She's seen what Mortef's capable of. She believes herself responsible for his heinous acts. Even after she's rescued by the Lycans, she still feels evil deep in her soul. Her only respite from the nightmares and blackness is through her submission at the supernatural BDSM club, The Underground. There she can lose herself for a few short hours and leave the pain and horror behind. Devon and Kieran are Vampires who've broken away from the psychotic malevolence of Devon's uncle Mortef. They've formed their own nest, aligning themselves with the Lycans, to fight Mortef and the Vampire Council. Constantly on guard against infiltration and treachery, they too find solace and brief peace through the dominance and BDSM at The Underground. It's there that Rachel, Devon, and Kiernan first meet. But can the two Vampires, one the nephew of the Vampire who so traumatized Rachel, get close enough to her to tell her they're fated mates? She feels the irresistible draw from Devon and Kieran. But Vampires can control humans, compel them against their will. Despite the overwhelming desire and attraction, can Rachel trust herself? More importantly, can she trust them? Misunderstanding tears the trio apart. Rachel flees, trying to escape what she feels sure is a death sentence. But there's so much she doesn't know. Is she what she believes? Or is there another explanation? And it's not just Mortef she has to worry about. As events unfold, nothing is as it seems. Betrayal surrounds every action. Who can be trusted? Who is the enemy? There are agendas and motives of which no one is aware. Two things are certain. If Rachel, Devon, and Kieran are fated to be together, it will take honesty, communication, and trust for them to pull it off. And if there's any hope of defeating Mortef's sociopathic plans, the Vampires, Lycans, and other supernaturals have to put aside centuries-old prejudices and mistrust to forge an alliance to stop this evil once and for all. Sara Anderson is another new author for me. I love paranormal erotic romance, and Sara Anderson does it so very well. The characters are so well-crafted. Devon and Kieran are more than friends. They're brothers in all but blood, and I found their connection compelling. The relationship between Rachel, Devon, and Kieran is one of the main themes driving this story. It's riveting! I literally felt the instant attraction, horror, terror, heartbreak, and paralyzing fear, as well as the tenderness, joy, wonder, and love between these three. The battle between good and evil is always present. The premise of this story, while fictional, is entirely believable. Reading this book was like a thrill ride, and I loved every second of it. This story captivated me from the very start! Sara Anderson has become another favorite author. Vampires' Embrace is engaging and enthralling from beginning to end. I give it my highest recommendation. Kudos, Sara Anderson, on an amazing story! One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. SPOILER ALERT: A CASE OF YOU IS A FOLLOW UP TO BOTH HEARTACHE SPOKEN HERE (BOOK #54) AND ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES (BOOK #55) IN THIS SERIES. IF YOU HAVEN'T YET READ EITHER OF THESE BOOKS, PLEASE DON'T READ THIS REVIEW AS IT CONTAINS SPOILERS! Jeff's in real pain. Since his diagnosis, he's foolishly ignored his doctor's advice, tried to overlook his limitations, and attempted to hide his pain from his family. But he's fooled no one, least of all himself. After crashing and burning once again, needing to undergo intensive medical therapy, he grudgingly gives in to Brandon's demand that he quit his job and stay home to recuperate. He's not happy but it seems he has no choice. He feels like a leech. But his physical condition begins to slowly improve. It appears he's finally on the mend although there's still the undercurrent of belief that he should be working, contributing, and not be mooching off his husbands. Then, life throws the triad another curveball. Stuart's estranged family comes back into his life in a most unexpected way, making a trip back to Iowa a frightening probability. Can he do this? He's never been accepted or welcomed by his family. He's terrified of the possibilities if he returns. What will be waiting for him if he goes back? Will he be welcomed or will he once again be crushed by pain and anger? When Brandon decides that he and Stuart will make the trip, Stuart's more than apprehensive. What about Jeff? Can they leave him alone with just Emma and Grace to watch over him? More importantly, can Stuart handle his terror of and disillusionment with the past and deal with his family? The trip to Iowa takes everyone on a roller coaster ride of unexpected twists and turns. Nothing is as it truly seems. Has Stuart been wrong all these years? Is it possible there's a way to reconcile with his family? The events simultaneously thrill and terrorize Stuart. By the end of the trip, he doesn't know what to believe. Finally back in Florida, the triad begins to feel a sort of peace and contentment. But Jeff's still dealing with his insecurities and losses. Life certainly isn't how he'd envisioned it. When Jeff's stubbornness and Stuart's past surface once again, and circumstances swerve out of control, will the triad be able to overcome the obstacles in their path? Can the past and present be beaten? Is it possible for their love to conquer the hardships and dangers facing them? Or will they lose everything in the struggle to find themselves and the future they so desperately need? As always, Ms. Dalton has written a story filled with very real, relatable, and sympathetic characters. Their lives, hopes, dreams, the love they've been looking for, as well as the difficulties, obstacles, and complications that lie in their paths, are all brilliantly combined into a gripping and enthralling tale. This is the third Suncoast Society book involving these three main characters, and it's a unique further insight into the driving forces that made each person who and what they are. It's no secret that I love Tymber Dalton's books. In my opinion, she's truly one of the most talented authors I've ever read! I give A Case of You my very highest recommendation without reservation. Thank you, Tymber Dalton, for once again giving us an amazing story full of emotion, loss, danger, healing, and, most of all, the overwhelming power of love. You are a mistress of your art, and your writing is beyond exceptional! This is truly a phenomenal book! One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. Borderline is book #57 in the Suncoast Society series by Tymber Dalton. In it, we finally learn Bob's story. Bob first appeared in Cardinal's Rule, book #2 in the series. He's made appearances in other books in the series. But we've never known much about him until now. Bob has always felt different. As he grows through his teen and young adult years, he discovers more of his nature and the truth of who he is. Then he meets Tilly, and his world is turned upside down. Things are never quite the same. But Tilly's life is also soon completely upended, taking her in directions she never imagined. Bob soon realizes he has to move on. But can he? Tilly's made such a huge impact on him. He certainly wants her to be happy. Is there any way he can deal with the knowledge and awareness Tilly's opened up in him? Years go by. Bob's made a successful life for himself. His life's not perfect, but is anyone's? He's mostly happy. Shouldn't that be enough? While he's not wealthy, he's certainly on safe ground financially. His relationships have been less than ideal, but is any relationship ever perfect? He's remained friends with Tilly, her husband, Landry, and their partner, Cris, for all these years. There's never been a romantic relationship there, although they do play together at the club. But Bob's never quite gotten over the impact Tilly had on his life. When there's a suggestion that Bob could enter training with the triad, Bob's intrigued. Is it possible that the triad and Bob can form some kind of unique bond where play and training can be combined? Is that even feasible? It's not easy to maintain a poly triad relationship. Bringing in someone else, even just for training purposes, has the potential to upset the delicate balance Tilly, Landry, and Cris have made for themselves. Is this a good idea? What about the possible repercussions, not just for the triad but for Bob as well? The proposed situation is fraught with potential danger of all kinds. Will the triad and Bob decide to move forward with the training? How will the proposed new dynamic affect the delicate balance of the relationships the four have built over the years, the family Tilly, Landry, and Cris have so carefully created and fought to maintain, and Bob's own emotional wellbeing? Will they end up destroying their friendships that have been so precious to them? This could be the riskiest move any of them has ever made. Tymber Dalton has long been a favorite author. Her Suncoast Society series is one of the very best and realistic BDSM series I've ever read. Ms. Dalton brings the very best elements of BDSM to each of her books. As I've said before, Ms. Dalton is a keen observer of life. She's also a vibrant part of a real-life BDSM community. She brings her own life experience and her astute observation and understanding of human nature to every book she writes. In Borderline, the characters are charismatic, authentic, and totally engaging. The interactions of all the characters are captivating and totally realistic. This story is not at all predictable, and I love the unique storyline. I give Borderline my highest recommendation without reservation. Thank you, Tymber Dalton, for once again giving us a glimpse into the lives of real people who are part of the BDSM community. This is an exceptional book, and you are truly one of the most impressive authors I've ever read! One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes.

See You Sometime is book #56 in the Suncoast Society series by Tymber Dalton. Skye Bauer has had years of bad luck with disaster after disaster pulling her down. After her life in Pennsylvania falls apart in every way imaginable, she finds herself moving back home to Sarasota to live with her parents. The move is far from smooth, and when she finally arrives, she's nearly at rock bottom. Yes, she's lucky enough to have a job waiting for her, and her parents are thrilled she's returned to Sarasota. She loves her parents dearly, but living with them when she's just turned 40, when she has no friends or social life, is hardly ideal. And the lack of any BDSM in her life for years has been more than just difficult. It's been nearly unbearable. But just as things seem to be at their worst, she meets her mother's friend who is responsible for her current job. She strongly suspects that Jenny and her husband, Mike, are kinky. That suspicion is confirmed when Skye attends a local munch for the Suncoast Society. But Skye finds more surprises awaiting her. Several of her former high school classmates are members of the Society, as well as the local BDSM club, Venture. After all this time, can she possibly have found what she needs, craves so much? Is it possible she could be lucky enough to find at least a play partner to give her what she so desperately needs? Could this actually be what she's been looking for? The one person Skye was hoping to run into when she returned home was Axel, her former high school boyfriend. She's never forgotten him, even though their romance was very short-lived. But as events take unexpected turns, and mutual friends intervene, Skye and Axel meet again. Axel's had his own problems in the 15 years since Skye's been gone from Sarasota, and life has been far from easy for him. As he and Skye slowly reconnect, there's just one problem. Axel's definitely NOT kinky. And Skye knows beyond the shadow of a doubt that she can't live without BDSM in her life. She's not just into the shallow end of the pool here. She's a hard-core masochist, and she knows she can't make any relationship work without BDSM in it. But both Skye and Axel feel a connection, and Skye is very open about what she wants and needs. But can Axel, who's never experienced anything related to BDSM, give Skye what she needs? He might think so, but he has no idea just how much she craves, desires, longs for the deep submission and the masochism that only a deep sadist can provide. Does he have any clue at all what her deepest desires? The bigger question is when he finds out just what she needs, can he bring himself to be what she needs without compromising who and what he is? Both Skye and Axel know no relationship between them will never work unless they can both meet each other's needs. But is that even possible? Just how far can Axel push himself? Does he even want to go that far? And just how patient can Skye be? Can she give up what she needs so very much to be with the man she's falling for so fast? In the end, can Skye and Axel find in it themselves to be what they need to be, not only for each other but for themselves as well? Tymber Dalton is one of the very best authors I've ever read. I've been a fan and devoted reader for a long time, and I truly love every book she's written. See You Sometime is another totally enthralling erotic BDSM romance. I absolutely loved this book, and was riveted from the moment I started reading it. It's beyond outstanding. I give See You Sometime my very highest recommendation. Thank you, Tymber, for yet another wonderful book that demonstrates your truly amazing writing ability! One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. USE THESE RESOURCES. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE AUTHORS! They work extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the authors an extreme disservice. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

SPOILER ALERT: ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES IS THE SEQUEL TO HEARTACHE SPOKEN HERE, BOOK #54 IN THIS SERIES. IF YOU HAVEN'T YET READ HEARTACHE SPOKEN HERE, PLEASE DON'T READ THIS REVIEW AS IT CONTAINS SPOILERS! Roll With the Punches is book #55 in the Suncoast Society series by Tymber Dalton. As always, Ms. Dalton has written a story filled with very real and relatable characters, their daily lives, their hopes, dreams, and, of course, the romance they've been looking for, as well as the difficulties, obstacles, and complications that lie in their paths. Stuart, Jeff, and Brandon seem to have found their happily ever after. While their relationship started in a very unusual way, things seem to have worked out. Brandon's daughter, Emma, accepts their triad relationship without any qualms. And as the obstacles thrown in the way of the men's relationship are resolved one by one, the men fall deeper and deeper in love with each other. They are happier together than they've ever been before in their lives. But life always has a way of throwing curveballs just when you're not expecting them! When Jeff's sister, Iris, asks his help in rescuing Sylvie, her friend, from an abusive husband, he agrees. It means a weekend trip to New Hampshire to pack up Sylvie's belongings. After making the trip, things seem to go well, and Sylvie is soon in Florida. She's finally free from her abusive husband, and Jeff, Stuart, and Brandon are reunited. But soon it becomes evident that a minor incident during the trip has turned into a growing concern for Jeff. As the issue gets worse with time, it's definitely taking a toll on the triad's relationship. Can anything be done to stop this in its tracks? If so, what will it take? Just what will each of the three men have to do in order to help Jeff and keep their relationship together? What are they willing to sacrifice to save the life they've begun to build together? To add to the stress, Brandon's ex-wife, Tracey, her husband, Pat, and Pat's son are making Emma's life a living hell. While Brandon knows bits and pieces of the story, he's only seen the tip of the iceberg thus far. When things blow up, and apart, in a spectacularly destructive manner, it doesn't just affect Brandon and Emma. It places far more stress on the three men than ever. What started out as a happy ménage now has the potential to self-destruct. Will the intimate love, seemingly unbreakable trust, and unshakable belief that the three men once held in each other be enough to survive the storms that continue to cross their path? Will they find the ability to roll with the punches, or will the turmoil and hardships thrown their way tear their relationship apart and destroy the love they've built? In an effort to ensure that all readers are informed consumers, I want to say this is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM-themed ménage sexual scenes. I give Roll With the Punches my highest recommendation without reservation. Thank you, Tymber Dalton, for again giving us an amazing book that shows just how impressive an author you are, your mastery of your art, and your exceptional writing talent! This is truly a remarkable book! Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Heartache Spoken Here is book #54 in the Suncoast Society series by Tymber Dalton. As always, Ms. Dalton has written a story filled with real-life, relatable characters, their everyday lives, their hopes, dreams, and, of course, the romance they've been looking for, and the difficulties, obstacles, and complications that lie in their paths. Stuart is a 25-year-old recent transplant from Iowa to the Tampa area of Florida. He has been deeply closeted as a gay man in his small hometown where he has no opportunities for his personal life and limited ones for his career. As an electrical contractor, he has been able to take advantage of the construction industry's explosive growth in Florida, and has landed a job with a stable, reliable construction company. It certainly doesn't hurt that he's met a man online at a well-known kink website with whom he's been corresponding for quite some time. Full of optimism, he packs up his belongings and, with a deep breath, heads for Florida. Jeff is a 37-year-old gay man who's had more than his fair share of heartbreak. As a result, he's shied away from any social contacts for awhile now. When he takes his classic Edsel to a friend for help, she invites him to come to the rope demo at Venture that Saturday. It's been ages since he's been to Venture. He's definitely kinky, mostly subby but, at times, a little toppy too. Initially reluctant, Jeff finally realizes he's been isolating himself for far too long. Maybe it's time for him to get his head back into the game. After all, it's only a rope demo and maybe dinner at Sigalo's afterward. He doesn't have to go to the play session afterward. There's no harm in that, right? Brandon is a 41-year-old divorced gay man with a 16-year-old daughter. Ever since he realized his catastrophic mistake in marrying his ex-wife, when he knew he was gay and was trying to hide it, he's been paying for it. But the one thing he'll never regret is his daughter, Emma. As a sadistic Dominant, he's never found the right guy that he can have a relationship with who will accept that he and Emma are a package deal. Play? Yes, he has no problem finding play partners. But he's nearly given up on finding his dream of a truly meaningful relationship with a man who will accept his daughter. Then fate strikes as all three men show up at the rope demo. Stuart has shown up with high expectations. Only those expectations are not just dashed but crushed into oblivion. But can there be a silver lining in this black cloud hanging over Stuart's head? Jeff and Brandon have already met. Is there hope for any of these three men? As events spin, turn, twist, and take unexpected shifts in direction, nothing is clear. Can any one of the three avoid the heartache that has always been spoken in their lives? This is an ADULT book. It contains BDSM themes, explicit language, and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, PLEASE think hard before buying a book you won't enjoy. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and booksellers' websites. If you know you'll object to the subject matter before you buy a book, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. But if you do enjoy hot, erotic BDSM romances, I highly recommend Heartache Spoken Here. It's yet another wonderful novel by Tymber Dalton. I give it my highest recommendation without reservation. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Any World That I'm Welcome To (MMF) by Tymber Dalton (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )
$5.5
Categories: BDSM, Contemporary, Menage a Trois/Quatre

This reviewer's rating: 5 - Outstanding

I know people must be tired of me praising Tymber Dalton but I think she's one of the most talented authors I've ever read. Any World That I'm Welcome To is book #53 in the Suncoast Society series, and it's another awesome book that you'll absolutely love. Neil Abbott is a hard-core Dom and sadist. He's alone in the world with no family of his own. He and Tamsin Mulder, a submissive and extremely talented musician and teacher, met years ago. Tam's alone too with no family so they've adopted each other. She also lives with Neil. And while they've never had a romantic relationship, Neil's been her Dom for ages. They have the perfect D/s dynamic with one exception. Neil's gay. Tam's definitely not his type. But Neil and Tam love each other dearly. They are each other's world. Then Dexter Lee enters their lives. Dex is a paramedic, a Dom and a sadist too, although he's certainly not as experienced as Neil. Neil's always carefully vetted the men who've tried to become a part of Tam's life. Dex is finally the man that wins Neil over. Unfortunately, Dex is just too handsome, appealing, and utterly charming. He doesn't just win Tam's heart, love, and trust. He wins Neil's as well, to the point where Neil is more than halfway in love with Dex even though Dex is straight. As the relationship between Dex and Tam grows into true love, they're soon engaged and planning to marry. Both men have accepted each other and, as rare as it is, they co-Dom Tamsin, with Neil even acting as Dex's mentor. Their "baby brat" is the joy of both their lives. The three have truly formed their own family. Now if only Neil could find someone, then everything would be perfect. Then the unthinkable happens. One Friday night, Neil gets a call from Wade, Dex's paramedic partner. There's been an accident, a horrific head-on crash. Tam was driving with Dex asleep in the passenger seat. Neil's in shock. This can't be real. Just hours ago, everything was perfect. Now he's totally numb as he heads for the hospital. He has no clue if they're even alive. If so, how badly are they hurt? He certainly has no idea what to do. He's in charge now but there's no way he wants to be. The news isn't just bad. It's beyond grim. Both are in surgery when Neil arrives. Dex has internal injuries, a ruptured spleen, a broken femur. But it's Tam...his beautiful, wonderful Tam, that's so much worse. Trapped in the wreckage while EMTs and others worked to literally take her car apart around her, Tam has severe internal injuries, hemorrhaging, fractures of both legs, her left arm, shoulder, and ribs. But the very worst is the traumatic brain injury she suffered as the car collapsed around her. Neil's beyond stunned. He can't accept what the doctor's telling him. His two best friends in the world, his adopted family, are both in surgery, and one is very likely dying. With Dex and Tam in the ICU, Neil has to make one of the hardest decisions of his life. As the weeks progress following the accident, Neil and Dex have to hang onto and support each other in ways they've never imagined if they're going to make it through this. But they refuse to give up. The two men grow closer and closer, and it becomes harder and harder for Neil to hide his feelings for Dex. What will Neil do? Can he keep his attraction for Dex to himself? How is either going to handle the impossible? They both loved Tam. She was their world. But that world has changed, and keeps changing, in ways they never saw coming. Will either of the men survive intact? Can a miracle save them? Will any of this work in any way? All that's certain is if one of them fails, they all fail, and their world comes crashing down around them. But this is their world now, and they have to find a way to make it work and live in it as best they can. Tymber Dalton is an artist extraordinaire. She keeps getting better with every book. I alternately laughed out loud, was terrified beyond expectation, and cried my eyes out while reading this book. It's not just another BDSM novel. Ms. Dalton is a keen observer of life. She's also a vibrant part of a real-life BDSM community. She brings her own life experience and her astute observation and understanding of human nature to every book she writes. Each new book just keeps getting better. She has once again hit a new high with Any World That I'm Welcome To. This story takes the reader to the ultimate heights and most extreme depths of every emotion a person can feel. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Rub Me Raw (MM) by Tymber Dalton (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )
$4.99
Categories: BDSM, Contemporary, Alternative (M/M, Gay)

This reviewer's rating: 5 - Outstanding

Rub Me Raw is the story of Simon & Victor. Simon Hall is a 33-year-old gay man who's been involved in a 5-year relationship with Gary. But things have become wrong, very wrong. What started out as a loving relationship has devolved into one in which Simon is nothing more than an object for Gary to use for his own amusement & convenience. Gary is so self-involved that he sees Simon as nothing more than a sexual release & convenient servant. He uses Simon not just for sexual gratification (which, in & of itself, has become intolerable for so very many reasons) but for every other reason he can think of. Gary is truly a sponge. Simon works full-time, cooks, cleans, does laundry, takes responsibility for every detail of their shared lives. Gary does nothing but hold down a job & take advantage of Simon. After spending yet another weekend at the Toucan Resort in St. Petersburg, Simon is done. Done with Gary's sexual deviance, the cruel & insensitive behavior, the total lack of love & caring, He's definitely done with being Gary's servant. Yes, they've involved a bit of kink in their relationship but Simon's no slave. He's just done. It's over. Victor Dumont is a 41-year-old gay, very successful real estate salesman living in Georgia. He's also a Dom & heavy sadist. After he issues an ultimatum to his long-time lover, Peter, to officially come out at work as being gay, Peter just picks up & moves out one Saturday, leaving Victor alone. Shortly afterward, Victor also learns Peter was dating a woman on the side to cover up the fact he's gay. That's the last straw. Victor was done. Wanting a fresh start, he moves to Sarasota where his friend, George, has a job waiting for him. Luckily, Lara Jarred also works in the same office. Victor & Lara become close friends. Lonely & wanting to get back into the dating game, Victor accepts an invitation from Lara & her husband * submissive, Brad, for a barbeque. There, he learns that Lara, Brad, Lara's ex, Ev & his husband, Wylie, are all members at Venture, the local BDSM club. It's like fate has intervened. When he's invited to the weekly Saturday night dinner at Sigalo's & then to the club afterward, Victor has no problem accepting the invitation. Simon also wants to get back out & meet some new people. After he kicked Gary out, he realizes Gary's also cut him off from most of his friends. The remainder of the friends he has are mutual friends with both him & Gary. They aren't really people he wants to keep in touch with. While at lunch on the Monday after he kicked Gary out, Simon meets up with Justin Rede, a researcher at the hospital where they both work. Simon knows Justin's gay & lives with a gay, married couple. During their conversation, Justin asks how Simon's weekend was. His response? "I lost 168 pounds Sunday morning." When Justin expresses his sympathies, the conversation eventually turns to kinky topics. When Justin invites Simon to Saturday evening dinner at Sigalo's prior to going to Venture, Simon's really interested. Why not? If nothing else, he'll get to meet some new people & maybe even learn more about the BDSM that has interested him for awhile. It's a setup, of course. When Lara learns Justin has asked Simon to Sigalo's, she & her friends make very sure both men meet. Despite the eight-year difference in their ages, they hit it off immediately. Again, fate seems to be on both men's side. They spend the night, both at Sigalo's & Venture, talking & getting to know one another better. The more they talk, the more the attraction between them grows. But both have burned very badly before. It will take a lot more than just simple attraction & pleasant conversation for this to go any farther. In the ensuing weeks, the attraction between Victor & Simon continues to grow, almost exponentially. It truly seems that the Universe has finally aligned for both men & the future looks increasingly bright for both. But things aren't always what they seem. Despite the growing connection between Simon & Victor, there are factors in play that neither is aware of. As their relationship continues to unfold, totally unexpected & off-the-charts bizarre things start happening at Victor's duplex. It's enough to either drive the men together or tear them apart. Then strange things start happening at Simon's townhouse as well. At first, they're just small things. Maybe Simon misplaced his keys. Maybe he threw things away that he can no longer find. But as the strange occurrences continue & escalate for both men, what is truly happening here? Will these totally unexplainable & truly bizarre episodes bring Victor & Simon closer or drive them apart? Can these two men build a love with the trust necessary to overcome the events that seem to have the ability to pull them together & yet still have the potential to destroy the very special relationship they have? Tymber Dalton has once again done an outstanding job creating another excellent Suncoast Society novel. In this reviewer's humble opinion, she's the very best out there. She easily crosses many genres, highly unusual for any author. Her books shine a spotlight on the deepest depths of the human experience. The Suncoast Society series is not just another BDSM romance series. The books are truly an open, honest look at real people, their relationships, emotions & every possible facet of each person's everyday life. She is not only an astute observer of human behavior. She's an author who can translate her observations into an unparalleled reading experience. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Walk Between the Raindrops (MF) by Tymber Dalton (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )
$5.5
Categories: BDSM, Contemporary, Romantic Suspense

This reviewer's rating: 5 - Outstanding

This is the story of June Jarette (née Corden) & her husband, Mark (a/k/a Scrye the Guy), who we've met in previous Suncoast Society books. June's always been very driven, even though she's Mark's sub & in more than just the bedroom. Despite the fact that Mark is June's Dom, he's a calm, laid back, unassuming CPA, even if he doesn't look like CPA. In previous books, we've always had just a hint of something mysterious & hidden in their past, vague impressions, brief, nonspecific glimpses. This is their entire story & it's a story well worth reading! June & Mark meet in high school, thanks to June's twin sister, July. Both June & July are top students with 4.0 GPAs. What's truly remarkable about both is their incomparable skill as gymnasts. They've been competing for years. They wanted to try for the Olympics when they were 13 but they were too young. Now, 4 years later, they're on track to make that dream come true. But, as with all dreams, there are obstacles. Mark's extremely supportive of both girls. As an only child, he's basically been adopted by the Corden family. But July's boyfriend, Matt, isn't at all happy at July's deep commitment & involvement to gymnastics. He's just as angry that Mark's involved in both girls' lives. Mark picks the girls up every day at 4:30 a.m. for practice, is there to support them in their choices. He even starts working at the gym. Matt certainly isn't willing to be involved in their gymnastics & he's not about to interrupt his life to make any sacrifices. But that doesn't stop Matt from resenting & hating Mark for being in his girlfriend's life. As the girls go through the next year, they nail it at Nationals. They truly have a shot at the Olympics! But finances are so tight for their parents. Both work. Neither has the time to accompany 2 teens to the camp required to even be considered for the Olympics, nor do they have the money for the camp. The twins certainly have the talent but what're they going to do without a chaperone & the camp money? Mark's attending college now, working several jobs, still taking care of the twins' dreams. Mark's & the twins' parents are close friends. June & July are into their freshman year at college & living in a duplex not far from school. Paul & Susan Corden trust Mark as if he was their own son. So when Mark volunteers to give the girls the money he's been saving for a new car, as well as chaperone them, both sets of parents agree. If they catch the attention of the coaches at the camp, they're sure to make the Olympics. It seems there's finally a chance their dreams will come true! But there's one person who's not happy with all this. Yes, you guessed it. July's boyfriend, Matt. By now, July has had just about it with Matt's overbearing nature. Her parents, June, Mark, nearly everyone in July's life have disliked Matt since they started dating in high school. July finally sees Matt's true nature & has had enough. Shortly before camp is to begin, July decides to break it off with Matt. June's worried about July's plans. July begs June to let her handle the breakup with Matt her way, alone. Both girls have classes that Friday but July is to return home first. Matt's shown his overbearing nature before. June's afraid July will allow Matt to sweet talk his way back into her good graces. This isn't the first time July's talked about breaking up with Matt. With their parents out of town, the twins & their sister, May, are watching their parents' home & cat. Reluctantly, June agrees to gather their laundry & go to their parents' home that night. July even tells June she'd prefer June spend the night there since she'll probably want alone time afterward. June leaves home that morning with a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. It's not right for July to be alone with Matt when he's so volatile. Matt's never physically hurt July in any way but that doesn't make June's mind any easier. From here, Ms. Dalton takes us on another amazing, totally engaging story full of mystery, thrills, chills, romance, close calls, emotions of every sort. Events in the book zigzag from the twins' life leading up to the camp prior to the Olympics, to the present & various points in between. It's a dizzying ride filled with unexpected revelations. There's joy, pain, love, fear, grief, compassion, uncontrollable rage, forgiveness & so much more. June's & Mark's lives change in so many ways, go in directions they could never foresee. There are deep, hidden secrets that could destroy & change other people's lives forever. This is a combination mystery/thriller/BDSM romance that will have you completely riveted from beginning to end! To me, Walk Between the Raindrops is the 2nd best of Tymber Dalton's Suncoast Society books, with The Reluctant Dom the very best. How June & Mark initially meet, become a couple, deal with incredible challenges & build lives together, despite obstacles few could overcome, is a poignant, emotion-driven story filled with love, desolation, joy, life-altering despair & so much more. All of Ms. Dalton's long-time readers have been waiting for June's & Scrye's story. Now that we have it, it's nothing short of a masterpiece! Thank you, Tymber Dalton, for yet another amazing book in this series! If you enjoy hot, erotic BDSM romances with thrills & chills throughout, I give my highest approval rating to Walk Between the Raindrops. It's one of Tymber Dalton's very best novels & I give it my highest recommendation without reservation. Thanks for reading my review & happy reading!

This Moody Bastard (MMF) by Tymber Dalton (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )
$3.99
Categories: BDSM, Contemporary, Menage a Trois/Quatre

This reviewer's rating: 5 - Outstanding

This Moody Bastard begins as another of Ms. Dalton's holiday-themed BDSM private party books. But this time it's more than just the party (the "Kinky (Vibrating) Eggstravaganza Party," for Easter, of course). The tale expands beyond the normal kinky party fun & frivolity & delves deeper into the lives of Callie, Max & Sean, last heard from in Happy Spank Patrick's Day. If you've read that book, you'll remember they're considering a momentous decision that, if they go through with it, will change their lives permanently. They believe they're not ready to have children, not now, not ever. Rather than keep Callie on birth control & deal the very real potential complications from that, Max & Sean are thinking about having vasectomies. But this is permanent. There won't be any going back. They need to be certain this is what they truly want. In the days leading up to the party, once again being hosted by Callie, Max & Sean, the trio are as busy as proverbial "bunnies." Two Crafty Bastards, their online BDSM toy/equipment store is ramping up for the holiday. Callie's about to tear out her hair with Sean's antics, insane ideas for the website header, holiday promotions & just about everything else to do with the holiday & business! But despite his shenanigans, Sean's just not Sean. He's the carefree, playful, free spirit of the three. Lately he just hasn't been himself. Even when Callie surprises him with arrangements to act as a demo rope bunny with Leah at Venture & the promise of some really great, absolutely over-the-top costume shots for the website header (something Sean would normally be dancing for joy about), he's just...not. Something's obviously bothering him. Moodiness is just NOT Sean. Callie & Max are concerned but even Sean can't verbalize what's wrong. The following Friday, just a little over two weeks from the party, Sean & Max are ready to move forward. All three have done a lot of soul searching since their realization & have talked about all the possibilities. They all know that constant communication, completely open & honest conversations & totally forthright opinions, no matter how hard the decision, are absolutely key to both successful polyamorous & BDSM relationships. Since theirs is both, communication is all the more important. Being truthful, open & willing to lay their feelings out in the open for each other, they make the decision to move ahead. So, with Cali driving them, Max & Sean are off for their vasectomies. A few hours later, all three are back home, the procedures done & the pressure seemingly off. But in the ensuing weeks, as the men heal & the three prepare for the party, emotions run high & pop out at the most unexpected of times. Callie keeps asking the men if they're really okay with their decision. Both Max & Sean, separately & together, wonder if Callie really knows her own mind. Each one is convinced that he or she will never be parent material. It's their love, devotion & care for each other that makes them question whether the decision was the right own for the other two. Then the past returns to haunt all three. Cali's ex, Shane, returns to town. The man she devoted eight long years to, who ran off & left her homeless and penniless, returns with a new woman on his arm, wanting his membership at Venture reinstated. As if that wasn't bad enough, Sean's & Max's ex also reappears. The very last thing Sean & Max want in their heads is the sight of Lydia, the woman who destroyed their lives years before. Can Callie, Max & Sean put their past behind them for good & move forward? Will they regret the decisions they've made? The future seems so uncertain. They've worked so long & so hard to make not only their business a success but to build their lives & love into something so unique & special. Surely one, two, or even three "moody bastards" can work this out, can't they? Tymber Dalton has the heart & soul of a storyteller. As always, she's crafted a story filled with drama, love, laughter, tears, joy, heartbreak...a literal cornucopia of real & genuine emotions. The characters she creates are so real you have no problem knowing if you met them in any city, village, or town in the country, you would immediately be friends with them. That she has the ability to weave all these elements together as effortlessly as she does shows just how much she has mastered her craft. This Moody Bastard is yet another amazing entry into the Suncoast Society series. As I've said in every review I've ever written for Ms. Dalton's books, the fact that she has been an active participant in the BDSM lifestyle for many years only adds to the authenticity of the characters & details of the lifestyle in her novels. But her books aren't just about BDSM. They're about real people making real choices & decisions, living real lives with all the day-to-day problems, delights & all other aspects of daily life. She can draw any reader in from the very beginning. Her skill as an author is exceptional. The entire Suncoast Society series is amazing. This Moody Bastard is yet another worthy addition to the series. If you enjoy hot, erotic BDSM romances, I highly recommend This Moody Bastard. You won't be sorry! I give it my highest recommendation. Thanks for reading my review & happy reading!

This is Everett's & Wylie's story. Wylie's a recent transplant to Florida & has been through hell. He started his own software company, made it a success, only to get involved with a Dominant in the BDSM lifestyle who not only abused him physically & emotionally but then stole his company from him. His trust broken, his life in tatters, Wylie buys a rundown homestead, decides to restore it & become self-sufficient. There's just one problem. He knows absolutely nothing about homesteading! Give him a computer & he's a genius. But farming, chickens, goats, orange trees, pasture, gardening...he hasn't the first clue! Everett has just as many problems. He's been married to Lara for years, even though he's gay. He & Lara have been separated for 2 years & are still best friends. But neither has moved to file for divorce until now. Only Ev's little sister, Eve, Lara &a handful of other close friends know he's gay. His parents don't even know. He's also a Dominant although he has no time to spend in the lifestyle. He's an artisan metal worker & blacksmith & darned good at what he does. Although he never went to college, Ev makes a decent living with his amazing creations at Ren fairs but it's certainly not enough for him to pay his share of the divorce costs. He's living in his trailer, the "Tin Can" on a friend's property. He has access to a forge & equipment to make his Ren fair crafts. But he needs to find a real job to be able to pay his expenses. A chance meeting at a Ren fair introduces Ev to Leo, a member of the Suncoast Society & owner of his own business. Leo's recovering from a severe accident & needs a welder. After exchanging information & getting through a dinner/interview, Ev finds himself employed by Leo. Wylie & Ev cross paths on Ev's first job solo welding job away from the shop at Wylie's homestead. Both men feel an immediate attraction to each other. But things go off the rails almost instantly. Wylie's in major pain from so much recent hard physical work on the homestead. He's also feeling the pressure making a go of the farm when he's knows nothing at all about what he's doing. A misunderstanding between the two escalates out of control. Ev & Wylie have an explosive argument. & the two leave completely at odds & not knowing that each is truly attracted to the other. Things escalate. Wylie & Ev keep running into each other. They learn more about each other & although they are as different as night & day in some ways, they have many other things in common. Slowly they form a friendship. Is there more possible? But then, Wylie's old partner & Dominant, Ralph, shows up out of nowhere & tries to blackmail Wylie into returning to California. There's something sinister at work here. Why would Ralph want Wylie back when he'd stolen Wylie's company, abused him & kicked him to the curb only months earlier? Something doesn't make sense. From this point, Ms. Dalton takes the story & spins it into an intriguing story of incredible beginnings, extreme loss, excruciating pain, betrayal, loyalty, amazing love & true friendship. Splendid Isolation is a roller coaster of emotions that will keep you glued to the story from beginning to end. I wasn't able to put it down. It isn't just the relationship between Ev & Wylie that holds your interest. It's not just the BDSM & the kink. The entire book is filled with authentic, realistic characters. As always, Ms. Dalton creates characters the reader can personally relate to. All the characters are completely believable. As the relationships develop & grow, as the story progresses, you're carried along with them. Ev's & Wylie's story was so compelling everything faded into the background as I read it. Ms. Dalton's skill is unparalleled. The entire Suncoast Society series is beyond amazing. Splendid Isolation is yet another amazing addition to this series. If you enjoy hot, erotic BDSM romances, I highly recommend Splendid Isolation. It's a compelling novel & you'll love it! Thanks for reading my review & happy reading!

Time Out of Mind (MM) by Tymber Dalton (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )
$5.99
Categories: BDSM, Contemporary, Alternative (M/M, Gay)

This reviewer's rating: 5 - Outstanding

Time Out of Mind is the story of Doyle Turner & Mevi Maynard. Doyle's a recovering alcoholic, over 20 years sober & a professional sober companion to some of the world's most famous people. He's also a Dominant in every sense of the word. While his dominance is enormously helpful in controlling some of his less-than-cooperative clients, it doesn't do much for his personal life. Actually, lately he's been asking himself, "What personal life?' He misses the BDSM Dominant/submissive play dynamic. But he's focused on his work, from California all over the world at literally a moment's notice. He's a long way from his beloved Florida. He has few friends, a demanding job, no personal life. Despite appearances, Doyle is a very lonely man. Malcolm Levi "Mevi" Maynard is the lead singer, guitarist & award-winning songwriter of Portnoy's Oyster, one of the hottest bands out there. But Mevi has more than a few problems. He's an alcoholic fresh out of rehab with three months to get his act together before an international tour. His band won't take him back unless he can prove he's sober. To add insult to injury, Mevi's almost bankrupt. His previous manager's in jail for fraud after ripping him off for nearly everything he owns. He NEEDS this tour for the money, his own sanity & to restore the faith & trust he's broken with his friends/bandmates. He desperately needs help. Oh, and Mevi's gay & NO ONE knows it. Doyle and Mevi meet through Doyle's friends from Florida, now living in California part-time due to business interests. The job is a hard sell for Doyle. It means spending three months with Mevi in seclusion, getting him ready for the tour, keeping him sober. Then he'll be spending months with the band while they're on tour. Although Doyle has a hard & fast rule about not getting involved with clients, there's an immediate, deep attraction between the two men from the moment they meet. Doyle lays down the rules. Mevi agrees. So they're off to Florida for the next 3 months Even though Mevi knows Doyle's no relationship with client rules, he's never been attracted to anyone as he's attracted to Doyle. Doyle doesn't need complications but he's just as captivated by Mevi. What does he do? It's been so long since he's been with anyone. One thing Doyle does know is that Mevi spends too much time time alone in his head, one reason Mevi turned to alcohol. Focusing on his music pulls Mevi out of his head while he's writing & playing but that only takes up so much of Mevi's time. What can Doyle do to keep Mevi out of his addictive headspace & in the present? Mevi has no idea that Doyle's bisexual. He just knows he wants Doyle. More importantly, Mevi has absolutely NO clue about Doyle's kinky side, that he's a Dominant. There's so much to keep the two men apart. Can they run the gauntlet of obstacles in front of them? There are challenges they can't even begin to imagine facing them. Mevi's fame, his financial problems, his alcoholism, Doyle's secrets...can they survive even those challenges? If they do, what about the future? There are other players in the game who haven't made themselves known yet that could blow up not just Doyle's & Mevi's futures but the entire band's as well. As always, Ms. Dalton takes the reader along on Doyle's & Mevi's journey as they navigate the often painful self-discovery involved in regaining sobriety & maintaining it, as well as the ups, downs, ins & outs of a new friendship, business relationship & maybe sometime more. The thrilling discoveries, sometimes painful, often emotionally-draining process of each man finding his own identity and place in their multi-faceted relationship, is never dull. The action is fast-paced &constant. Is it possible for the men to build trust with each other, much less for Mevi to rebuild the broken friendship & trust with his band? What of the unknown factors no one is prepared to deal with? Where will Doyle & Mevi end up? Will the band survive? Can Mevi find the courage to admit he's gay, not just to his friends & bandmates, but to the rest of the world? In the end, can Doyle bring Mevi the peace, the ability to spend time out of his mind? As an active participant in the BDSM lifestyle for many years, the details and knowledge of that lifestyle Ms. Dalton portrays in her novels are incredibly accurate. She's one of the very few authors who has the ability to create authentic, credible characters the reader can relate to in a very personal way. All her characters are totally believable. You're swept along with them as the relationships develop & grow as the story progresses. I know from the second I pick up a Tymber Dalton novel I won't put it down until I've finished. Doyle's & Mevi's story is so engrossing that everything else fades away. Ms. Dalton's skill as an author is unparalleled. Time Out of Mind is yet another amazing addition to this series & I highly recommendit. It's an amazing novel & you'll love it! Thanks for reading my review & happy reading!

Fire in the Hole (MF) by Tymber Dalton (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )

This reviewer's rating: 5 - Outstanding

Fire in the Hole is the 48th book in the Suncoast Society BDSM series. If you haven't read the previous books, each book in the series is a standalone novel, although you'll understand the characters' backstories better if you read them in order. There's a complete listing of the series, in order, at the beginning of each Suncoast Society book. Lara Cannon's life seems perfect. Although she's divorcing her husband, Everett, it's very amicable. In fact, Ev is still her best friend. Sure, he's gay. That's why they're divorcing. But she adores Ev & his boyfriend, Wylie. She has a good job as a realtor & a handsome, rich fiancé, Steve Ewing. Everything seems perfect! That is, until the final divorce hearing. Lara asks Steve to stay away. It's simple. They'll sign the papers. The divorce will be final. But Steve insists on coming. That's the first mistake. Steve's put downs, condescending attitude & constant criticism of Lara suddenly jump out at her like never before. Yes, when she thinks about it, it's always been there from the beginning. She'd just overlooked it. When Ev & Wylie invite Lara for dinner, Lara accepts, with Steve insisting on going too. That's the second mistake. After a chance meeting at the restaurant, Ev & Wylie's neighbors, Brad & his son, Mark, join them. Brad Jarred appears to be a typical Florida Cracker cowboy. Dressed in faded jeans, a short-sleeved button-up work shirt, work boots & a baseball cap, he's very polite & answers all Steve's ill-mannered questions. He's as handsome as he is polite. But he's far from what he appears to be. Lara feels an instant attraction to him. Her irritation at Steve continues to grow & when Steve finally starts in on Ev & Wylie being gay, Lara explodes. It's bad enough he's insulted everyone else. But Steve's homophobia is the last straw. As Steve grabs Lara & orders her to leave with him, she pulls off her engagement ring, lays it on the table & makes it clear the engagement is off. Brad feels the same attraction Lara feels & they quickly become an item. But there's a problem. Lara's supposed to move in with Steve that weekend & her apartment's already rented. Worse, there're no other apartments available. Brad comes to the rescue, offering to let Lara stay with him & Mark until she can make other arrangements. But how will Mark feel about Lara moving in with them? Neither he nor his dad know her at all. Mark has a secret that he has no idea how to tell anyone. Who can he tell, when & how? While Lara's grateful for Brad's offer, there's no guarantee that this arrangement will work. And Lara's definitely not heard the last from Steve. To top things off, Brad & Lara learn about Ev & Wylie's BDSM lifestyle. Will this affect Lara's friendship with her ex & his lover? While Lara is intrigued, that hardly means that Brad will be interested! With each person's individual questions, dilemmas & uncertainty, what does the future hold for Lara & her new life? Ms. Dalton has done it yet again. She's created a story filled with drama, laughter, tears, joy & suspense. She's intertwined each person's story to fit together so skillfully that it seems effortless. Fire in the Hole is a story full of genuine people. The emotions I felt for each character were deep & heartfelt. I alternately laughed & cried until tears blurred my vision. That's just how well-created the characters are. Ms. Dalton's books ALWAYS have the ability to pull me in from the very beginning. Her skill as an author is exceptional. It's no surprise to anyone who's either read my reviews of Ms. Dalton's books that I am extremely impressed with the Suncoast Society series. Fire in the Hole is another wonderful addition to the series. This is an ADULT book. It contains BDSM themes, explicit language & sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy erotic romance & explicit sex with BDSM scenes THINK CAREFULLY before buying a book you know you won't enjoy. There's always a synopsis & reviews at various booksellers' websites & reviews on Goodreads & several Facebook book review pages as well. Thanks for reading my review!

Happy Spank Patrick's Day (MF, MM, MMM, MMF, FF) by Tymber Dalton (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )

This reviewer's rating: 5 - Outstanding

Tymber Dalton is my favorite author & an automatic buy every time she releases a new book. Happy Spank Patrick's Day is the 47th book in the Suncoast Society series & is another of Ms. Dalton's holiday-themed BDSM private party books. To me, these are always a treat & very special. As you can guess from the title, this time the holiday is St. Patrick's Day. This time around, it's Callie, Max & Sean who are hosting the party. Everything's great in the days leading up to the party. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, tragedy strikes two members of the Suncoast Society's intimate party group. Cali, Sean & Max want to cancel the party. No one's going to want to attend a BDSM play party. not when their friends are in such pain. No one's going to be in a party mood. But, as much as the triad believes they should cancel, the two affected by the tragedy insist the party go on as planned. The rest of the group isn't quite sure but, respecting the wishes of their dearest friends, the party proceeds on schedule. At first, the party mood is subdued. The festive atmosphere & playfulness that normally surround each party takes quite a while to kick in. But, despite the cloud that hangs over the group, they finally take their friends' wishes to heart. The party's soon in full swing. There's the requisite rigging contest with green rope to celebrate the occasion, with Scrye & June, Leah & Justin & others participating. Some of the submissives & switches have dressed up but sometimes it's hard to tell which switch is on top! There are also new members to the party group. Ethan & Brita have been slowly leaning into the BDSM lifestyle & this is their first play party. Leanna & Sharon are relatively new to the group & they're looking forward to an evening of play. Of course, Leah & Seth are there, as are Justin, Wade & Glen. Keith & Scott are there but without their third, Scott's wife, Noel. Jake, Ben, Bill, Gabe, Loren, Ross, Essie, Mark, Ted, Josh, almost everyone is there. Even though they're missing two, people are enjoying themselves. But the tragedy suffered by their friends brings something that's been simmering in the background to the forefront of Cali, Sean & Max's relationship. Each one of the triad has been thinking about what happened to their friends & each has to make a decision that could irreversibly change their relationship. A difficult choice hangs in the balance. Can the triad come together again like they've done before & make it all work? Or will this be the one time when things just might fall apart? And how will their friends make it through their own personal suffering? The two affected are so alone & lost in their grief & as much as the rest of the group wants to help them, you can't force yourself or your love on people who just aren't ready to give up their grief. Ms. Dalton has done it yet again. She's crafted a story filled with fun, drama, tragedy, laughter, tears, joy & heartbreak. She's woven it together so skillfully that it seems effortless. Happy Spank Patrick's Day is a fantastically amazing story full of incredibly real & genuine people. I felt the emotions of each character vividly & I alternately literally laughed out loud & cried until my tears blurred my vision & ran down my face. That's just how real & well-created the characters in all her books are. The fact that Ms. Dalton has been an active participant in the BDSM lifestyle for many years only adds to the authenticity of the details of that lifestyle as portrayed in her novels. Ms. Dalton's books ALWAYS have the ability to pull me in from the very beginning. Her skill as an author is exceptional. Happy Spank Patrick's Day is absolutely wonderful addition to the series. I give this book my highest recommendation! Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
