Suncoast Society, Book 90. Once may be luck. Twice? Can that really work? SPOILER ALERT: It’s strongly suggested you read Word of Mouth (Book 86) prior to reading this book. Word of Mouth is NOT a cliffhanger in any way. However, Gordon and Jonah first appear in that book. This is a continuation of their story. If you haven’t already read Word of Mouth, this review may contain spoilers. Reaching for the impossible, I listened to a liar, ruined my life, and broke both our hearts. How, why, he ever took me back I’ll never know. But now—Gordon wants to marry me! I swear I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to make it up to him. I know one thing. I CAN’T hurt him again. The gig with Portnoy’s Oyster fell into my lap. The money’s fantastic. But he needs me. Can I leave again? Is any amount of money worth it if I lose him? This could be the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. I want Jonah as my husband, beside me. I want to believe him. He made it through one tour. It’s not that I don’t trust him. But another? He’ll be gone for weeks, maybe even months. All the lights, fame and attention? Wait…what? This changes everything! But it’s up to me. If I don’t do this, I may lose him forever. If I do, I may lose myself. Is there any way this ends up right? Or do we both lose? We first met Gordon and Jonah in Word of Mouth, and their story blew me away. Who can resist a story of true love and second chances? These two pulled me though every emotion imaginable. Now they’re back and, believe it or not, this story’s just as riveting! The roles these two play and their dynamic is so unique. When I first met them, I was thrown for a loop. I can’t say too much about either Gordon or Jonah without ruining the story. When he lost Jonah, Gordon thought his life was over. But accepting Jonah back into his life was far from easy. It certainly was no magical fix. And Jonah? Guilt and regret are bitter pills to swallow. He knows how lucky he is, on so many levels. But can he trust any of it? Isn’t it all just a little too good to be true? Want to know? You’ll have to read the book. I adore this series. Ms. Dalton is one of the best authors I’ve ever found. I’ve said this before, but it’s 100% true. These books are fiction. But you know beyond any doubt they’re based on real life. Add to that the fact that Tymber Dalton is one of the most versatile writers I’ve ever read. Her innate compassion, empathy, and understanding of people make this series irresistible. Thank you, Ms. Dalton, for another trip into this captivating world. A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. Check the book blurbs and reviews available on Goodreads, BookBub, and all the booksellers where the book’s sold. Please use them before buying this book. I absolutely loved this book and can’t recommend it highly enough. I’m positive you’ll love it too! Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Suncoast Society, Book 89. Will the past keep Rom and Colton from their happily-ever-after? SPOILER ALERT: This is the sequel to Numb as a Statue (Book 85 in this series). Numb as a Statue is NOT a cliffhanger. While it’s not necessary to read all the books in this series first, it’s definitely recommended you at least read Numb as a Statue before reading this book. If you haven’t, this review may contain spoilers. Heartrending tragedy’s ruled my life. Unconditional love heals many things, but I never got over what I lost. It wasn’t fair. Now I’m broken…beyond repair? How could anyone want me? But I have to go on, and Rom Quinn isn’t a quitter! How could I have known what was waiting? By all the fates—what did I do to deserve Colton? Do I deserve him? In his own way, Colton’s as broken as I am. Being discarded like trash will do that. But he was picked up, given love, made incredible beauty out of his brokenness. He’s my life, my soul. The Universe was guiding our steps, matching us at the perfect moment, knowing each was the perfect fit to the missing puzzle pieces of our souls. But isn’t this all a little too easy? Especially when Colton proposes to me, not just once but twice. Can I do this? This is for life, forever. Doubts? Uncertainty? Am I good enough? Roberta and the grannies may think so. They may want this more than I do. But does Colton really understand what he’s getting into? And can I do this to him? We’ve met Rom and Colton before in Numb as a Statue. But now we get more of their story, and I adored it! Both men’s pasts completely broke them, but in different ways. That they even found their way to each other was a miracle. Then lightning struck, nearly ending them before they ever got started. But where do they go from here? That’s the beauty and wonder of this book. We see both Colton and Rom, their love, their deepest insecurities, what their pasts have done to them, and every obstacle in their path. I was overwhelmed by the level of emotion in this book. I don’t have words to describe the power of this story. In today’s world, it’s very easy to lose faith in truth, love, and trust. While I realize this is fiction, this book restored my belief that the impossible can happen. I guarantee you’ll believe you are there with Rom and Colton every step of the way. Tymber Dalton’s a genius when it comes to pulling you into every story she writes and keeping you there to the exception of everything else. I adored this book! Thank you, Ms. Dalton. You’ve again held me a willing captive to the wonder and joy of your writing. A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. Check the book blurbs and reviews available on Goodreads and all the booksellers where the book’s sold. Please use them before buying this book. Beautiful doesn’t begin to describe this book. I think you’ll love it too. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Suncoast Society, Book 88. Come to Daddy…will it be okay? Is life ever what you want? Delaney and Winter are Deacon’s joy but can that be enough? Why does he feel life’s left him and his dreams in the dust? Del and Winter adore him. So why is Del determined to ruin his life? Then, with their usual timing, the powers that be turn Deacon’s life upside down. Lightning strikes, and his biggest dream appears. But how can this be? It can’t be real. Ryland’s too perfect! He charms Winter and even outlasts Del. What’s the catch? There’s always one lurking, right? Oh, there’s a tornado bearing down on everyone all right! It’s about to wreak havoc like no one’s ever seen. Is there any way to stop it? If not, will anyone survive to deal with the aftermath? Deacon’s truly a character in every sense of the word. He’s tough, loving, hilarious, and charming. He’s also as dominant as they come. He kind of freaked me out when I first met him. And Ryland? He’s a darling puppy dog of a man searching for his dream. It seems like forever, and he’s almost given up. I loved him from the second I met him. Both men’s needs seem simple, but are they? They seem the perfect match, at least at first. And that’s one of the things I loved about this book. Both men both have and have not. And what they have creates the need they can’t seem to fill. That’s the enigma that caught me deep in its web. Is this book sexy and hot? Absolutely! But there’s so much more here that held me captive. At times, I laughed. I also literally sobbed my heart out. Deacon and Ryland pulled at my heartstrings every step of the way. Delaney and Winter are delights that add just the right soupcon of deliciousness to the recipe. Tymber Dalton has done it again. This is hot, delicious, and absolutely flawless. Thank you, Ms. Dalton, for another Suncoast Society book that made me laugh, cry and go through every emotion in between! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. Check the book blurbs and reviews available on Goodreads and all the booksellers where the book’s sold. Please use them before buying this book. I loved this book and think you will too! Suncoast Society, Book 87. Between the devil and the deep blue sea, can love bloom? When the love of your life chases his dreams, leaving you far behind, what do you do? Why, the logical thing, of course! Start a successful custom motorcycle shop and get your own show on the gO! Network. But will that cure a broken heart? Wait though! There’s a not-so-little surprise waiting in the wings that just might…what? Beware! A tornado’s about to hit, turning life upside down and inside out for everyone! That can’t be good—can it? This book is absolutely wonderful! There were times I laughed so hard that my sides hurt and others where I cried like a baby. Brett and Kodie, the main characters in this book, stole my heart. From the beginning, I was furious with Brett. Kodie’s a sweetheart, but hardly perfect. Then, hold onto your hat! Things go north, south, east, and west faster than you can imagine. The bottom line is who can resist a story of star-crossed lovers? This is definitely a standalone book but, again, Tymber Dalton shows her wonderful versatility. The Suncoast Society is far from her only series. From time to time, characters from her other series make cameo appearances. This is one such book. You absolutely DON’T have to have read the other series to appreciate what these characters bring to the story. Tymber Dalton’s writing is so special in so many ways. Her stories are character-driven, full of true emotion, and never predictable. You may think you know what’s coming. Believe me, you NEVER do! Congratulations, Ms. Dalton! To say I loved this book is a vast understatement! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. Suncoast Society, Book 86. Can two shredded souls ever heal—or is it too late for both? The lure of fame and fortune can be blinding. Jonah’s all too aware of that. Leaving Florida for the bright lights of Hollywood seemed the only choice at the time. Why, oh why, didn’t he listen to Gordon? Not only has his career tanked, but he destroyed the best thing to ever happen to him. Then, out of nowhere, can a random phone call hold answers? Working with Mevi Maynard and Portnoy’s Oyster? This is a prank, right? But, as reality sinks in, comes the catch. Mevi and the band are headed to Florida to prepare for the upcoming tour. Of all places, why Florida—where Gordon still lives? What he did to Gordon can’t be forgiven. But what are the odds he’ll even see Gordon? After all, Florida’s a big state. But fate stacks the odds as Gordon’s also hired to work with the band. Could anything go farther wrong? Both men’s souls were shredded when Jonah left. Jonah knows it would serve him right if Gordon kicked him to the curb, saying, “I told you so!” The “what ifs” plague Jonah. Has Gordon moved on? Is he happy? Is he still sober? Does he ever think of Jonah? When the two find themselves together again, bitterness and anger seem to rule. When Doyle and Mevi step in, is there hope? Despite any outside influence, questions still remain. Is there enough forgiveness in the universe to fix this? Can shattered trust ever be restored? Can Gordon get past his anger? Or has Jonah completely annihilated everything? OMG! Tissue alert! I went through at least a box with this story, which tore my heart to pieces! At the beginning, I hated Jonah! Self-centered, thoughtless, and reckless, he’s not the least bit sympathetic. He doesn’t just tear his own life to pieces. His quest for fame and fortune destroys everything around him. Paying the ultimate price for his selfishness doesn’t seem like enough. And then there’s Gordon. He has weaknesses that would destroy a lesser man. He’s far from perfect. Jonah ripped his heart out and left him to pick up the pieces. These two couldn’t be more different. The emotions in this book run the gamut from utter despair to hope to possibilities and back to anger, bitterness, and even hatred. Nothing about this story is predictable. The angst that fills this book tugged at my heartstrings with every page I read. But inspiration is also abundant. You don’t just learn about Jonah and Gordon’s weaknesses. Both men also have incredible strengths you’d never imagine. Once again, Tymber Dalton shines. It’s amazing how she translates every emotion into a work of incredible power. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton. You’ve again written a book that touched me on a visceral level. A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Please use these resources. I urge you to leave a review, but with a proviso. Please don’t leave a negative review when you know you won’t enjoy the book. It's not fair to the author. Suncoast Society, Book 85. Can anything rise from the ashes of devastation or is all lost? Rom’s a control freak of the highest order, for good reason. His trust was crushed, and now he believes in no one. But at what cost? Does he even have a life? When it hits him that his idea of a good weekend is cleaning his apartment, washing his car, and shopping for cheaper insurance, there’s his answer. Meanwhile, Colton has problems of his own. Life’s never been the same since his parents disowned him as a child. Yes, Grammy was there for him, giving him a home and accepting every part of him. She nourished his spirit, imparting her passion for art. But now Grammy’s gone, taking Colton’s heart with her. He tries to carry on because that’s what Grammy would have wanted. But his soul’s shattered, and he feels nothing. Then one day, a trio of total strangers come into Colton’s shop. The ersatz leader of this small group brings something totally unexpected. But is Colton ready to accept anything from a stranger? When the same person approaches Rom, it seems fate may have walked into both men’s lives. Is anything ever that easy? As a Dom, Rom definitely takes an interest in the gorgeous subby Kent introduces him to. But, despite an initial attraction, can it be anything more than just one night? Words hold no value for Rom. Actions are the only way to reach him. And does Colton have anything to offer anyone? Since Grammy died, he’s been so hollow and broken. As both Colton and Rom take baby steps toward something neither recognizes, disaster strikes. Could fate be so brutal? Only one thing is certain. To get through this with take a megaton of hope, faith, trust, and more. But is either man capable of any of this? Or will the Universe once again cruelly shatter the dreams of each into splinters? Both Rom and Colton took me completely by surprise. You couldn’t find two people who are this severely damaged by completely different circumstances. Their pasts have utterly broken both. How could they find anything in common when neither trusts anyone? It’s heartbreaking to read what these men have endured. I cried for both and the heartbreak they’ve endured. That Rom is a huge control freak is no surprise and makes him a natural Dom. You’d think that would give him the ultimate confidence, making relationships easy. But his past ensures that’s not true. And Colton? His trauma is so very different than Rom’s, but he’s been ripped apart at the seams. He too trusts no one. He belongs nowhere. He only knows what he wants, and that’s not about to come walking into his life. But despite the pain and betrayal of their pasts, Rom and Colton also have a strength neither knows exists. This is the true beauty of this book. There’s a dichotomy of vulnerability versus strength and resilience that shouldn’t work. Yet it works so very well. Tymber Dalton has again shown the depths of her writing talent. I loved both Colton and Rom, their backstory, their present, the possibilities of what could be, and the surprise ending I never saw coming. I was captivated from the first page and flew through it, finishing it in one night. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton! This is another five star winner! A final note. This is an ADULT book. Suncoast Society, Book 84. Goblins, zombies, and—seriously—ghosts? Another holiday, another Suncoast Society party. This time it’s Seth and Leah hosting, and, as usual, Seth goes crazy with the decorations. Christmas was Kaden’s. But Halloween is now Seth’s. and he knocks it out of the park. The costumes are fantastic. With so many categories (kinky, sexy, traditional, and even puns), it’s hilarious. Seriously? Milo’s so tall he can’t find a costume, but he still wins the puns division. It’s the usual Suncoast mix of friendship, fun, and kink. But wait? Was that…really? A lot of people have already admitted to thinking they’ve seen Kaden, even people who never met him. That’s just impossible. But, again, multiple people see things out of the corners of their eyes or in reflections that convince them Kaden’s still around. But it’s June who’s most affected this year. And it’s not by seeing Kaden. When she sees what she knows is impossible, she knows it’s wishful thinking, right? It’s been decades. How could it be true? Just the possibility makes her heart ache. Is this real? Could June finally find some kind of peace and solace after decades? Or is this just a cruel prank to shatter her heart? The Suncoast Society party books are always such fun. Always sexy, silly, filled with kink, and a treat to read, I adored this one. My heart breaks every single time Kaden’s name comes up in any of the Suncoast Society books, and this was no exception. I literally start crying like I did in The Reluctant Dom (Kaden, Seth, and Leah’s story). There are so many friends, both old and new, in this story. I can’t even begin to list the characters filling this book. Suffice it to say, they’re scattered from throughout the Suncoast Society. I laughed out loud at the silliness and pranks. The costumes are a real hoot. And, as usual, the games are…well, let’s just say interesting and leave it at that. But it’s June’s past, and what happens in this story, that hit me the hardest. I’m not saying anything else about the plot, but Tymber Dalton’s done it again. How she simultaneously makes me giggle, laugh out loud, and cry my heart out in one book is incredible. Yet she does it over and over. I love her books, and this one is another five-star winner! Congratulations, Ms. Dalton! A final note. This is an ADULT book. SPOILER ALERT: THIS IS BOOK 5 IN THIS SERIES. ALTHOUGH IT CAN BE READ AS A STANDALONE, IT’S BEST THAT THE SERIES BE READ IN ORDER SO AS NOT TO MISS THE BACKSTORY OF ANY OF THE CHARACTERS. IF YOU HAVEN’T DONE SO, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. When it comes to protecting the Supernaturals of the world, Raeff and Dylan are the best of the best. Ruthless? Oh, yes! But heroes? Again, yes! But a Vampire and a Lycan working together? How did that happen? A decade ago, the Vampires, ruled by Solan, had Jenni in their clutches. Somehow, some way, she escaped. Jenni’s family moved far away. But is there ever really escape from a Vampire? Over the years, somehow Jenni’s known the Vampires still hunt her. When her father disappears, his best friend, Brian, shows up and tells Jenni to run. Where? Wolf Creek, North Carolina. Why? What’s there? Jenni takes off, and is so very close when she’s stranded. Just when all seems lost, Raeff and Dylan appear. It’s soon evident that Raeff, Dylan, and Jenni are fated mates. Little do any of them know what awaits. The terror Jenni never forgot still stalks her. Can the Lycans, Witches, Sorcerers, and their Vampire friends make any difference? Or will Solon and his Vampires take Jenni again? Can Raeff, Dylan, and the other Supernaturals do anything? Or will the darkest of evil finally get the finest prize? I love vampire books! Sara Anderson’s world of Supernaturals is a paranormal lover’s dream come true. We’ve gotten glimpses of both Raeff and Dylan in the past. But we’ve never seen them like we do here. Both are relentless hunters, protectors of Supernaturals and humans alike. They’re vicious assassins who have no qualms about taking out their enemies. Dark and light live simultaneously in both. Jenni has wells of strength, hidden abilities, and a refusal to cower in terror. And, surprisingly, there’s a BDSM theme here as well. What’s not to love? Sara Anderson blows the stereotypes of every Supernatural out of the water. It often irritates me that Vampires can be killed by being out in the sun, staking them through the heart, or cutting off their heads. Let’s face it. Anyone would die if they were staked in the heart or had their head cut off! The Lycans also aren’t the werewolves of legend. There’s no full moon, no silver bullets. These are true shifters, genuine magic. The other Supernaturals are just as unique and uncommon. Did I mention I love Witches and Sorcerers too? This is such a unique story, full of twists and turns you never see coming. I loved it! Congratulations, Ms. Anderson. You’ve done it again. I love your Supernatural world. This book definitely deserves five stars! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. Suncoast Society, Book 83. Suit fetish? Yes, please! Cali and Marcia are searching. For what? Ideas! Topping the list is a new header for the website for Sean, Max, and Cali’s business. Venture’s website could use an upgrade too. Cali’s used Baxter, the triad’s “dominant” cat, and even Sean dressed as a triceratops. Unique? Definitely. But they need something fresh. Venture wants to bring in new people. Both websites need something new, innovative. Then Cali and Marcia get the perfect idea. There’s just one problem. The Doms and subs have to agree. And most of the Doms aren’t exactly thrilled by the idea. Have you ever tried to talk a Dom into doing anything? And did I say one issue? Oh, sheesh! Can Cali and Marcia even get these people in one room? Who knows how this might turn out? What could the end result be? This is so lighthearted and fun. It’s a real treat to read. And while it’s playful, for me, it also catches a bit of the true nature of the BDSM world. There’s an element of “your kink is not my kink, but your kink is okay” in this book. It’s definitely not the overwhelming theme of the story at all, but it’s there. I honestly can’t say much more without giving away the entire away. If you’ve read even a few of the Suncoast Society books, you’ll recognize old and new “friends in common.” It’s short read and absolutely delightful. Thank you, Ms. Dalton, for a book that’s not just enjoyable. It was an outright joy to read, something that made me laugh and brought happiness into my life. It’s definitely a five star book! Suncoast Society, Book 82. Will life’s twists and turns destroy the best thing to happen to these men? Did Justin make a mistake joining Wade and Glen? He didn’t think so. Even though Wade and Glen were married when he met them, there was instant chemistry, a bond that seemed as if it couldn’t be broken. But it’s the everyday things that often wreak havoc. As all three are caught up in their hectic and draining lives, Justin begins to doubt not just himself, but the commitment all three have to each other. Does he really have a place here? Even as Justin doubts himself, both Glen and Wade have crises of their own. When each member of the triad realizes there’s an all too real chance of falling apart, drastic action seems the only answer. But just who will have to do what? And what, exactly, is the answer? Sometimes the most unexpected moves have the power to both shock and heal. Is this even possible? Can Glen, Wade, and Justin somehow take on new roles, form new expectations, save their relationship? Nothing is certain. As their world somehow tilts just slightly on its axis, is this what the trio needs? Or is it the beginning of the end? This slice from this triad’s life was totally unexpected, and I was captivated by all three perspectives. That’s what you get here. Justin may often feel like the odd man out, but is he? He’s tentative, at times uncertain. But is that just his perception, or is it real? Wade and Glen often seem preoccupied, withdrawn, but why? Is this true anxiety or something else? Where does it come from? Those, and so much more, are the questions that drive this story. Their doubt about themselves and each other, the distractions in their lives, each individual’s reaction to the situations, are how Ms. Dalton draws you into this story. All three have their own issues. At times, it seems as if all three seem to forget from what and where their strength lies. The uncertainty that radiates from each one of these characters makes them so intensely human. None of them has the answers. That’s so like real life. We’ve all taken people in our lives for granted. We’ve all pushed the ones we love away. But how do we get them back? Where do the solutions lie? There’s never just one clear path or answer. And this is Tymber Dalton’s forte. She’s the best there is at getting to the heart and soul of every character she writes. She creates real people. She brings them to life. She’s the very best there is when it comes to creating real-life characters that pull you into their lives. I literally couldn’t put this book down. Thank you, Ms. Dalton, for writing another exceptional story in this series. I couldn’t give it anything less than five stars! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and (Amazon) all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. Suncoast Society, Book 81. Can the lady fair rescue her knight, or will all be lost to his anger and fear? SPOILER ALERT: WHILE THIS IS A STANDALONE BOOK, IT’S VERY HELPFUL TO READ ALMOST GOTHIC (BOOK 65) SO YOU WON’T MISS THE BACKSTORY OF THE CHARACTERS IN THIS BOOK. IF YOU HAVEN’T DONE SO, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SLIGHT SPOILERS. Rusty and Eliza have always been a team. Since the first day they met, over 30 years ago, when Eliza beat Rusty in mock battle, they’ve been inseparable. Every obstacle has been met together, head on. Unconditional love, trust, and their unique dynamic form the bedrock of their foundation. Eliza saved Rusty from the darkness that nearly destroyed him. Despite his occupation and the fame that accompanies it, the frequent travel separating them takes a huge toll on Rusty. When he and Eliza are separated for over a month, Rusty’s anxiety shoots through the roof. His Ma’am calms and soothes his soul, clears his mind, takes him to places he can’t go without her. Being without that refuge is nearly too much to bear. As Rusty finally wends his way home, there’s a shock awaiting him that has the potential to rock his world to the core. He and Eliza always knew this day would come. But the reality far outweighs what either ever anticipated. As both struggle to accept the changes facing them, can even Eliza save her barbarian and knight? Can his Ma’am, the lady fair, bring the peace and acceptance Rusty knows he needs? Is this the challenge that drives a wedge between them? Or can Ma’am soothe her barbarian’s fears, bring understanding, and restore the balance both desperately need? Rusty and Eliza have appeared in numerous books in this series. For long-time fans, they’re family, old friends. I honestly wasn’t sure how there could be more to Rusty and Eliza’s story. But, as always, Tymber Dalton has shown there’s always something new to learn, no matter how long the relationship’s existed or how deep the connection shared. Since their first appearance, it’s been obvious how much Rusty needs Eliza. But there’s an entirely new perspective in this book. I loved the back and forth between these two. The emotions Ms. Dalton creates seem to flow effortlessly. I felt the shared anger, even rage, Rusty’s uncontrolled anxiety, his urgent need for his Ma’am, Eliza’s fear for her husband, and the mutual love these two share. Their unique dynamic impresses me every time I read about these two. It’s not just their love or their BDSM roles. It’s far deeper, something I don’t have words for. What I do know is by now I should know never to assume anything about Ms. Dalton’s books. There are always surprises in store you never see coming. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton. This is another five star winner! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. Suncoast Society, Book 80. Wow…just wow! Tymber Dalton’s outdone herself again! SPOILER ALERT: THIS IS MILO AND MADDISON’S STORY. MADDISON IS INTRODUCED IN COURT AND SPARK (BOOK 79 OF THIS SERIES). WHILE IT’S NOT ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO READ COURT AND SPARK FIRST, IT’S HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. IF YOU HAVEN’T DONE SO, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. Maddison’s life is nearly perfect. But is nearly good enough? Her job running a Miami resort is her life. Her bestie, Fen, and his husband, Joel, are her biggest cheerleaders. She’s survived trauma that would kill a lesser person, that’s made her so very cautious. Despite the long hours, loneliness, and longing for things she desperately needs, she knows she’s luckier than most. Then, without warning, the ground beneath her crumbles. Unemployed, again facing imminent danger, she ends up with Fen and Joel. What’s she to do? Finding a job, working on her MBA, sorting out her priorities. She can deal with that. But can she deal with her dreams? Can a person exist to fulfill her every need? When Fen comes up with a bold plan, Mads is NOT impressed. Enter Milo, baby Dom, recent divorcé, and a man who’s sworn off love in any form. Mads’ breathtaking beauty, charm, and snarky personality hit him like a lightning bolt. Mads is just as floored by her attraction to Milo. But both are broken in ways that may never heal. And both know it takes far more than mere attraction and BDSM for anything lasting. There’s just too much at stake. Can Mads let down her walls, even for someone like Milo? Is Milo capable of anything more than just BDSM play? As Milo’s history haunts him, Mads’ past comes roaring back with a vengeance, threatening not just her fledgling relationship with Milo but her entire life. Can either put the past in the past? Is it even worth trying? Or will their pasts destroy everything…shattering them both forever? Tymber Dalton continues to break new ground with every book she writes. I can’t say anything more about the plot of this story without ruining the plot. But Mads and Milo are like no other characters Ms. Dalton’s written. Mads is full of contradictions. Her professional life is a huge success. Her personal life? That’s far more complicated. Intriguing doesn’t begin to cover who and how remarkable she is, how she’s survived. She’s a shattered soul, maybe beyond repair. Milo’s just as broken, but in different ways. He’s convinced he can never love again. That these two can connect in any way is unbelievable. BDSM seems the only possible connection for them. Yet Tymber Dalton takes these tiny threads and weaves them into such a compelling story. I love that I’m constantly learning new things from Ms. Dalton. Yes, I learn new aspects of BDSM in nearly every book. But I also learn about people’s ability to be on opposite ends of the spectrum. Hatred, prejudice, and intolerance are one side of the coin. Belief, acceptance, and unwavering trust are the other. This book shows both, and it’s riveting. This is a journey of expectations, new beginnings, and wonder. I can’t give it less than five stars. This book is an experience I’ll never forget! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. Suncoast Society, Book 79. As Fen faces the hardest decision of his life, will it make or break his relationship with Joel? SPOILER ALERT: JOEL AND FEN FIRST APPEAR IN RECONSIDER ME. (BOOK 59 IN THE SUNCOAST SOCIETY SERIES). IT’S ESSENTIAL THAT YOU READ THAT BOOK BEFORE READING COURT AND SPARK. OTHERWISE, YOU’LL MISS JOEL AND FEN’S ORIGINAL STORY, AND THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS. Joel and Fenton appear to have found their happily-ever-after. While they’ve been together less than a year. despite everything that conspired to drive them apart at every turn, every day seems happier than the one before. Or does it? Things certainly look like that way. Fen’s a master of yoga, so when he discovers a new hobby through his yoga classes, it’s no surprise that he’s a natural. But what, exactly, will his husband and Master think of this? Turns out, Joel’s not just surprised. He’s thrilled! As Fen gets drawn more and more into his new pastime, it becomes the source of much more than just a fun diversion. But there’s still an edge, a sliver, of darkness in Fen’s soul from his past that nothing seems able to erase. When Fen’s best friend, Maddison conspires with Joel to give Fen the biggest surprise and most fun he’s had in a very long time, Fen starts to think about the one thing that's always made him the most insecure. Is it time for him to give up his one and only hard limit? Joel’s never pressured him. In fact, Fen’s sure Joel never will. But this is the one thing Fen’s always doubted about himself. Does he trust the man he loves more than anyone else? Oh, yes! But does Joel want more? Will he stay satisfied with Fen’s hard limit? Or will that come back to haunt both? As Fen struggles with a monumental decision, so many questions abound. Can he change? Does he want to take the chance? This has the potential to destroy both him and Joel. Is anything worth that? Tymber Dalton has done it again! This book made me laugh so hard I was in tears. It also made me cry over the dilemma Fen faces and the lingering darkness in his soul. I’ve loved Joel and Fen since I read Reconsider Me. After reading this book, I fell even more in love with them and their dynamic. Fen’s new “hobby” is the hottest, steamiest, and most imaginative I’ve read in a long while. (If you want to know what it is, you’ll have to read the book! Believe me, you won’t be disappointed!) And we get glimpses of a very unique and intriguing character, Fen’s best friend, Maddie. I’m not going to tell you anything more about the plot or characters as I don’t want to ruin the story. But Maddie’s a character unlike any other. This book held me riveted from the moment I started reading it. As always, Tymber Dalton doesn’t disappoint. This story is so very special. For me, Court and Spark again demonstrates why Ms. Dalton is the mistress of BDSM. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton. You’ve written another winner that deserves so much more than five stars! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. Suncoast Society, Book 78. Will Shayla and Tony survive the tests put in their way? SPOILER ALERT: THIS BOOK SHARES SOME EVENTS FOUND IN A SPANKTACULAR FOURTH (BOOK #74). TO GET THE COMPLETE BACKSTORY ON THE MAIN CHARACTERS IN THIS BOOK, YOU SHOULD READ THE DENIM DOM (BOOK #5) AND OPEN DOORS (BOOK #27). TONY AND SHAYLA ALSO APPEAR AS MINOR CHARACTERS IN MANY OTHER SUNCOAST SOCIETY BOOKS. IT'S HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU READ THESE BOOKS PRIOR TO READING THINGS TO DO IN DENVER. When Asher Insurance sends Tony Daniels to Denver to set up their new systems campus, he'd no idea what he was getting into. Yes, he'd been to Denver before. How could he ever forget when it almost wrecked his relationship with Shayla before it ever began? Tony's determined that's NOT going to happen again. But with unplanned disasters happening time and again, with 16-hour days, Tony's can't cope. Then, as if things weren't bad enough, Tony's past comes crashing into his present in a way he could never have expected. Sure, he gets a weekend off but at what cost? He never wanted this! The only saving grace is he gets to spend a few days with Shay. Only that too turns into a fiasco! His carefully crafted plans for Shay at Venture turn to chaos. Now he has to return to Denver, where he stands a very good chance of losing Shay. What can he do? He can't give up his job. And he can't live without Shay. As a possibility occurs to Tony, Shay takes matters into her own hands. Only these two are always at cross purposes. Will Tony's solution to their problems work? Or will Shay's determination to "fix" their issues result in catastrophe for both? There's only one answer. Can these two find the love, trust, and faith it will take to pull them back from the brink of disaster? Or is this truly the end for Shayla and Tony? I've loved Tony and Shayla since I first read The Denim Dom. These two have literally been through everything a couple can go through. Their relationship was nearly over before it began. They've had challenge after challenge, only to come out the other side stronger than ever before. But is this the end of everything? I was truly scared it was over for these two, much as I was scared of the outcome in several other of Ms. Dalton's books. A happily-ever-after is never guaranteed with Ms. Dalton's stories. I was seriously worried these two had finally reached the end of their story. I can't say much more without giving everything away. I laughed out loud and cried tears of heartbreak when I was reading this book. The obstacles these two face are those faced by real people. That's what I adore about Ms. Dalton's Suncoast Society books. They're based on genuine people. What you read is what happens in real life. Yes, I love the BDSM aspects of her books. But there's so much more. Real life isn't all about hearts and flowers. It's not all happiness and joy. There's real heartbreak, sorrow, and pain. That's what draws me to Ms. Dalton's books. They're compelling, fascinating, and authentic. These two characters are among my very favorites, and I loved this story. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton. You've done it again. If I could give this more than five stars, I definitely would! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and (Amazon) all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. Suncoast Society, Book 77. Can Douglas and Connor find forgiveness for the past, or is the future already written in stone? Douglas Koenig has a lifetime of regrets. His beloved wife, Mackie, is gone. He's alone with Zee, his three-week-old baby girl, on his way back to Sarasota to rebuild his life. His mind's a whirlwind of questions. Was it wrong to turn his back on the best thing to ever happen to him 25 years ago? Did he sin when he fell in love with Mackie, knowing his heart belonged to another? He never lied to her. She knew the truth. Was becoming a priest the right thing to do? Was leaving the priesthood when Mackie turned up on his rectory doorstep years later a mistake? Meanwhile, Connor has never forgotten Douglas. He's also never forgiven him. Douglas knew exactly what Connor had endured, the way his soul was destroyed. Why did he never come back? Where's he been? Neither man's heart has ever healed. Both seemingly have just one reason to live. When mutual friends from the Suncoast Society unwittingly build a bridge for Douglas and Connor to meet again, will the two men cross it? Douglas is still his Sir's boy. But can Connor ever forgive him? Perhaps the better question is, can Douglas forgive himself? As the two men bob and weave around the pitfalls of the past and the confusion of the present, can they find a way through this maze of uncertainty? Or will this be the heartbreak that will break their hearts to pieces, this time forever? In my opinion, this is one of the most unique and utterly heartrending books Tymber Dalton's ever written, second only to The Reluctant Dom. Douglas' soul is literally ripped apart, not just once, but three times. The strength this man demonstrates, his one-of-a-kind belief, the deep commitment to his daughter, his friends, and his faith, is inspirational. I absolutely despised Connor in the beginning. Yes, Connor's endured as much, if not more, than Douglas in some ways. But he's a real p***k in every way when you first meet him. He can't seem to help himself. Despite, or maybe because of, that, Connor soon becomes just as inspirational in his own way as Douglas is in his. I can't say much more about the story without giving away everything. For me, there's no easy way to put into words what this book made me feel. It was very hard for me to read parts of this book. It's one of the few Tymber Dalton books I've had to put down, walk away from, and come back a few hours later to pick up again. The emotions hit me that deeply and drained me that much. But this book was worth every second I invested in reading it. There's true beauty in this story. The BDSM dynamic is off-the-charts hot and riveting in its intensity. Like The Reluctant Dom, this story tore my heart in two yet still restored my faith in some things I thought long gone from my personal life. One reason I love Tymber Dalton's Suncoast Society books so much is they hit me on such a personal level. This one pulled me in, grabbed my heartstrings, and just wouldn't let go. Thank you, Ms. Dalton! Come in From the Cold is fantastic. It deserves so much more than five stars. You've outdone yourself again! A final note. This is an ADULT book. Suncoast Society, Book 76. After recent events and the scare of their lives, Max has made a decision. And It doesn't take a lot of talking to get Sean onboard. The men have given Cali an ultimatum. She WILL marry one of them. She has just one decision. Does she choose or do they? But none of this is easy. All three decided long ago they'd never choose one over another. Why is Max forcing the issue? Cali wants nothing to do with this plan. She also knows can't say no. She loves Sean and Max too much. She's already put them through hell. It wasn't her fault, but still. So who's the lucky groom? Good question...because Cali can't choose! Leaving it up to Max and Sean? Seriously? After all, we are talking about Sean and Max here. Unknown to Cali, she's about to fall prey to what just might be the biggest mind f**k in the history of the Suncoast Society. And with this group's history? That's a pretty tall order! As their wedding day approaches, Cali STILL doesn't know who her husband will be! Chaos ensues. Will Cali ever find out who she's marrying? The better question is, will the wedding even occur? This book is the perfect counterpoint to the events in A Spanktacular Fourth. I adore Cali, Max, and Sean. This triad has endured it all. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, the greatest of joys to the deepest of tragedies, and everything in between. There's never a dull moment with these three, and this book is no exception. That I literally laughed so hard I almost fell off my chair is no surprise. These three have a penchant for comedy especially when they're not trying! The unique love they share isn't just off the charts hot and steamy. It sneaks up on you, grabs your heart, and pulls you in until you're completely invested, heart and soul, in their lives and love. Throw in the off-the-wall shenanigans of the Suncoast Society gang, mix with a generous serving of terror, uncertainty, and over-the-top hilarity, and stir in generous amounts of genuine, real-life BDSM, family, and love, and you have the laugh-until-you-cry and cry-until-you-laugh perfect story for this triad! Oh, and let's not forget Baxter! No Cali, Sean, and Max story would be complete without Baxter! I adored this book! It's a must read. Thank you, Ms. Dalton! A Crafty Ever After is another 5-star Suncoast Society winner! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. Suncoast Society, Book 76. When a whirlwind explodes and the dust settles, can anything be salvaged from the wreckage? Ron and Kimbra have been friends for what seems like forever. They've been wing men (or is that wing man and wing woman) for each other countless times. They probably know each other better than anyone else. But Ron's gay. And Kimbra's, well, not exactly straight. While Kimbra has a special relationship with Eve, even she doesn't know how to describe it. On the down low doesn't come close! And the rules of that relationship, such as they are, are getting harder to define by the day. Ron, with his Viking reenactments, wide circle of friends, a job that he loves, and his cherished sister, Meri, seems to have everything. But Meri's moving on, leaving Ron with...what exactly? As much as he wants it, love's never come knocking on his door. Then comes that fateful trip to the Toucan where life's turned upside down, inside out, and blown to bits for not just Ron and Kimbra but everyone around them. Nothing will ever be the same. When the truth comes out, will Ron and Kimbra's friendship survive? The better question is, what happens when the truth about Eve is revealed? Can Kimbra still want her? What about Ron? Where does he fit in amongst all this confusion? Will anything survive? There's the faintest glimmer. Love and trust are the only things that give any hope. The ultimate question is, is there enough of either in the world to right their worlds? Or is everything gone for good? This is another very unique story from Ms. Dalton that nearly defies description. There are multiple relationships interwoven with current events and backstories that are as complicated as they come. You'd think keeping it all straight would be impossible. And that assumption would be very wrong! That's one thing you never, ever do with a Tymber Dalton story...assume anything! Each character is so well-defined and so carefully crafted you're swept along with the story to the exclusion of all else. With all the intricacies and detail, there's absolutely no confusion here at all. As with all Ms. Dalton's books, I couldn't put Blue Motel Room down! I loved everything about this book! Kimbra and Eve, their unique relationship, how each doubts herself and the other, the uncertainty that literally jumps out of nowhere, keeps you on the edge of your seat. Ron and Ivan? These two are literally a mess. There's the maelstrom of emotions, past and present traumas, and a literal comedy of errors all at the same time! I love Ron's battle cry: mead is forever! (Who's Ivan? What's mead? Why the battle cry? You'll have to read the book to find out!) As much as you might think these people have absolutely nothing in common, you'd be dead wrong. I can't really say much more without giving everything away. But, if at any point you think you have this book figured out...hold onto your seat because you absolutely don't! Congratulations, Ms. Dalton! You're this reader's favorite author for a very good reason. This book is another five-star winner! A final note. This is an ADULT book. Suncoast Society, Book 74. After the fireworks, comes the fire. Will Cali, Max, and Sean survive? Another holiday. another Suncoast Society private party. You'd think by now nothing Sean and Max could dream up would surprise Cali. And you'd be wrong! Cali could have sworn they said it was only a "sparkly flogger." She should have known. When the fireworks literally go off, setting the lawn and Sean's eyebrows on fire, it's bad enough. With Baxter sitting on her lap, Cali's the one who pays the price. Just another side effect of living with the two man children she loves, right? As the three prepare for their weekend volunteer stint at Venture, little do they know exactly how their lives, and the lives of those around them, are about to change. First comes the unexpected attendance shift. Next is the obnoxious blonde stranger who saunters into Venture like she owns the place. Then, of all things, Tony and Shayla? But this time the bad luck doesn't stop at three. When the power blows out, turning Venture into a black hole, everyone's thrown for a loop. But even the Saturday night from hell is nothing compared to what awaits the triad. Cali's insecurities have kept her from so much for so long. She knows she loves Sean and Max. She's absolutely certain they love her. But she's always felt she's not contributing enough, that she's a mooch. Her insecurities have led to some not-so-wise decisions. As a tiny event spirals out of control, and Cali fails to see what's right in front of her, those decisions come back to haunt her. Her life's never been in more danger. And this time there may be no coming back! Even as her bestie Essie steps in, it may be too late. Can Sean and Max make it time? Is there anything that can be done? Or will Cali's pride have ended it all...forever? This story is absolutely amazing! Haunting shades of the past mingle with the awful certainty of the present and uncertain anticipation of the future. making the most incredible mix of sadness, terror, grief, and hope I've read in a long while. Grab your tissues or, better yet, a crying towel. You're going to need them! This book alternately made me laugh out loud, scream with frustration, and sob my heart out. This is Tymber Dalton at her best! The pranks and pratfalls of Sean, Max, Cali, and Baxter are always a hoot. These three and their multi-talented cat are irresistible! While the story centers around Cali and her men, there are so many mini-plots interwoven that I really can't say much more at all without giving away everything. In my opinion, this book is one of Ms. Dalton's best. I can say that you'll be on pins and needles throughout the whole book. There is absolutely NOTHING predictable about any of this. And while it's not necessarily a cliffhanger, you are so going to be left wanting more. But that's one of the very best things about Tymber Dalton's books. No matter how many you read, no matter how many HEAs there might be, you ALWAYS want more. Is there BDSM? Of course! It is, after all, a Suncoast Society book. But it's so much more than just a simple BDSM story. Tymber Dalton's written a haunting, devastating, heart-wrenching story filled with love, anticipation, and the hope of so very much more. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton! You knocked the ball out of the park with this one! I wish I could give this ten stars! That's just how much I loved it! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. It's not fair to the author. She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to a book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Suncoast Society, Book 73. When devastation and loss destroy all, can love, laughter, friends, and family renew faith and trust? It was hard when Meri Dutton lost her job eight months ago. But she could always find another job, right? Then came the cancer diagnosis. A double mastectomy ate through every penny she had...savings, retirement account, and severance package. Recovering, trying to find a job took every ounce of her strength. When her Dom, Peter, took one look at her post-surgery, told her he just wasn't attracted to her anymore, and left? That he expected her to be grateful for being "open and honest?" Her world imploded! That's when her younger brother, Ron, showed up. Despite Meri having kept all this from him, he somehow knew something was wrong. When he showed up on Meri's doorstep, ready to move her back to Sarasota, Meri couldn't say no. But going back to Florida, starting over again, letting her little brother take care of her? Meri might be a sub but she's always been independent. Little by little, Meri tries to pick up the pieces. Old friends trickle back into her life. She finds a job, even if it's nothing like her old one. Then lightning strikes. As she's easing back into BDSM, she attends a munch with Ron. While catching up with old friends, she sees a man who seems very familiar. He should. Over 20 years ago, Elvin Wynn, a/k/a Mr. "Dub," used to be her and Ron's teacher. He's certainly NOT the man she remembers. He could be a double for The Rock! But, wait, wasn't also he married back then? Where's Mrs. "Dub?" Why is he here? As answers slowly emerge, Meri realizes she feels an spark of attraction for this man. But he used to be her teacher. He's black. She's white. He's curious about dominance and BDSM. She's a sub with decades of experience. Seriously, can any of this work? Elvin's no fool. After he discovers what Meri's been through, he's determined to take it slowly, cautiously. There's so much at stake. Just as things start to show promise, Elvin's past barrels into his present, threatening everyone and everything. This has the potential to rip Elvin's life to shreds. It could gut Meri to her very soul. Is Meri truly as fragile as she seems? Will everything they've struggled to build be destroyed by a vindictive whirlwind? Or is it possible the BDSM, the fledgling relationship, between Elvin and Meri has created a glimmer of trust and belief? Can that be enough? Or will bitterness and vengeance destroy everything in its path? I literally could not put this book down. Meri is incredible! I felt every second of her pain, physical and emotional. Her fight to maintain her dignity, independence, to survive on her own is inspirational. What she's been through would destroy anyone. But it's her realization that no one can go it alone, that she needs support, her family and friends, that hit far too close to home for me. We all need trust and belief. It's a constant journey everyone has to make. And Elvin? OMG! This man is gorgeous, inside and out! He's been through a lifetime of pain. Yet he's not just survived; he's thrived. There's a saying that the best vengeance is living well. Elvin embodies all that and more. Meri and Elvin's individual journeys are captivating. Together they're riveting. If you're a long-time reader of the Suncoast Society series, old familiar friends return. Eliza, Rusty, Jackson, Noah, Grant, Darryl, Susie, Tony, and Axel are just a few. Then there's Ron. I adored him. He made me laugh out loud so many times. Seriously? A real-life Viking re-enactor, complete with sword, shield, gauntlets, mead, a horn to drink it from, and mock battles that leave you gasping? His sense of humor is second to none! I seriously hope we'll see more of Ron in the future because he's a true gem! Ms. Dalton is second to none when it comes to telling real-life stories with genuine people. She sprinkles in the genuine beauty, honesty, and truth of BDSM, creating a non-stop thrill ride and emotional roller coaster that charms you from beginning to end. Thank you, Ms. Dalton! You've provided this me with countless hour of incredible reading, and this book is no exception. I wish I could give For the Roses 100 stars! It's easily another five-star winner! A final note. Judgment of the Moon and Stars (Suncoast Society, Book 72). Can love, honesty, and trust break the cycle of the past and save the future? Past trauma's a strange thing. It can make or break you. For Jackson Crowder, it's a double-edged sword. Destroyed by betrayal, he's moved beyond that deceit and made a life for himself. Teacher, head of the social studies department, and leader of Sorrellson Academy's development and expansion committee, he has everything he needs. Or does he? Being a Dom and kinky doesn't exactly fit his job description. Noah Mayes is a man in hiding. A homophobic family has pushed him deep into the closet. And while his job isn't threatened by the fact he's gay, he has no way of knowing how his submissiveness or kink would affect it. He's virtually no way of meeting other gay or kinky men. When both Noah and Jackson show up at the Toucan in St. Pete, it's kismet. The attraction is sizzling. They have a magical, perfect night. But when Noah's literally pulled out of bed by a phone call, the only one who can handle a work-related catastrophe, his focus is only on his job. There's just one problem. The only thing he knows about Jackson is his FetLife name. Last names and contact information fell by the wayside the night before. After all, there was plenty of time for that later, right? In the chaos surrounding the freak accident, Noah's forgotten Jackson's FetLife name. With nothing else to go on, Noah knows that one perfect night, the promise of something he craves, is now gone. Jackson made it very clear he does NOT chase after anyone. But Jackson's living in his own purgatory. Has yet another seemingly perfect man ghosted? He won't chase. His past's proven just how that will end. It's all or nothing. Is this the end for these two? When fate steps in once again, is it another chance? Does either have the ability to see beyond the obvious? Jackson's so sure he's put his past behind him. But will that certainty take away the man he can't forget? Noah's fear of coming out, his family, his terror at committing to the one man he could possibly love for life, have the potential to destroy him. One thing is clear. This relationship has virtually no chance of succeeding. The only thing that could possibly save it is truth, honesty, and most of all, trust. Is either even capable of that? If not, Noah and Jackson have lost the best thing ever to happen to them! I loved Jackson and Noah. Over and above the BDSM that's integral to the story, these two are fascinating in completely opposite ways. Jackson's mysterious past has affected every portion of his life, his love life most of all. Trust is nonexistent. And that's what makes Jackson so compelling. He longs for love. He needs BDSM. Dominance is at the core of his very being. How do you reject what's soul deep? And while he knows exactly who and what he is, how do you deny a core tenet of BDSM? Noah's the complete opposite. Deeply in the closet, terrified of the losing his family but furious with their homophobia and religious fanaticism, craving love and the submission so crucial to him, he's torn in two. How does he find what he longs for? What options does he have? Just when all seems lost, these two find each other, a perfect fit. That they immediately lose each other with virtually no hope of ever reconnecting simply broke my heart. Once again, tissue alert! I cried throughout this book. It's just that heartrending and packed with emotion. Ms. Dalton has done it again. The story's complex. With never a dull moment, there are twists and turns you never see coming. And at the heart of it all, there's the one thing that pulls me into nearly every book she's written...the beauty, complexity, and infinite variety of the BDSM lifestyle. I absolutely adored this story! Thank you, Ms. Dalton! This book is captivating! I couldn't put it down. It deserves far more than five stars! A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. Suncoast Society, Book #71. Past trauma meets present inferno, but just who and what will survive? SPOILER ALERT: IT'S HELPFUL TO READ STEADY RAIN, INDIFFERENCE OF HEAVEN, AND LIKE THE SEASONS (BOOKS 67, 68, AND 69, RESPECTIVELY) FOR THE BACKSTORY OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS IN THIS BOOK. IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THESE BOOKS, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. Kent Corwin learned long ago he'll never find love. It may be fine for others but never him. His first love proved no one can ever handle his "monster." So he's built a wall around his heart and, in the process, a very successful business. He's satisfied with what he has. Or is he? Paul Sauer's also successful, having started a small but prosperous software company. But his love life is nonexistent. When Paul meets Kent, they find their companies complement each other perfectly, and a close business relationship is born. Enter Tim Sandberg. Paul is Tim's boss. Paul's gay. Is Tim? And while Paul may be the boss at work, he's definitely submissive. But he has no Dom. Every instinct tells both men they need to stay as far from each other as they can. But a chance encounter at a private club fans attraction into instant lust, putting everything, including Paul's business, at risk. Falling in lust is one thing. Can this be more? The odds are incalculably stacked against these two in every way. Is it possible it can work? As years pass, Tim, Paul, and Kent form an even closer business relationship. Then Kent invites the men to one of his private parties where anything goes. Tim and Paul have been together for years, completely devoted to each other. A party like this will have consequences. Just what does this mean? How far are these three willing to go? Kent's made it clear his heart's off limits. Fun and games are one thing. But what about Tim and Paul's hearts? When disaster strikes, it will take everything each of these men has to find their way through the maze set before them. Can any of them come through intact? Will Paul and Tim survive? What about Kent? In the end, will all three find themselves through with love? For me, the intensity and complexity of Kent, Tim, and Paul and their relationships are what drew me in from the first page. This is one of Ms. Dalton's most unexpected books. To understand Kent, Tim, and Paul, you have to know both their past and present. While I'm not usually a fan of books where the timeline goes back and forth between the past and present, it's essential in this one. Kent's personality is literally forged in the fires of past trauma. Tim and Paul's dynamic and their love are based on events you'd never understand without knowing how they met, what brought them together, and what their love is based on. Without knowing the past, the present would make no sense. The plot of this story is riveting. It's also a bit of a departure for Ms. Dalton but, as always, it's a fascinating look into a beautiful lifestyle that's misunderstood by many. Tim and Paul's devotion to each other is truly inspirational. The trust they have is incredibly rare. Kent is genuine, friendly and devoted to caring for his friends. In many ways, he's the consummate matchmaker. But, under the surface, he's so very damaged. In my opinion, it's Kent and his trauma that ultimately make this story. Ms. Dalton has again crafted a story that's filled with complexity and yet also incredibly simple in the most basic of ways. I truly loved this story! Thank you, Ms. Dalton! You've again written a captivating book that deserves nothing less than five stars. A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. It's not fair to the author. She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to a book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Suncoast Society, Book #70. "If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all!" Arden Hasegawa has got to be wondering if this isn't her motto. Already burning the candle at both ends with computer studies and working a minimum wage job, she comes home to find an apartment fire has left her virtually homeless. On a shoestring budget, she can't afford another apartment. Then comes the final straw. Kraiges Technologies, the IT company where she's an unpaid intern, closes without warning. Desperate for money, she takes a coworker's shift at the restaurant where she works. Suddenly, her life's flipped 180 degrees! Not only does another coworker, Allie, offer Arden the use of a top-of-the-line RV for a fraction of her apartment's rent, but four hot, sexy men just happen to land in her section of the restaurant. Ken Rossi, Trace Huffe, Steve Chaudhary, and Hal Larsson were college roommates when they founded Collidezkope. When they took it public, they became millionaires. But now their consulting contract's done, and they want a new start, a different direction. Relocating to Sarasota and buying a house together, they plan to recapture their mojo and recreate their success. There's just one problem. They need at least one person they can trust to handle the admin end of their new venture. When they meet Arden, she seems the perfect fit. But isn't this all a bit too easy? Maybe so but Ken, Trace, Steve, and Hal jump at the chance, and Arden's soon officially their AA. The work's perfect for all five. But there are secrets that have the potential to blow this perfection to bits. The men's attraction for and relationships with each other are hardly a secret. But they're all magnetically drawn to Arden as well. Can anyone say "sexual harassment lawsuit in the making?" When the men stumble onto Venture, they're kinky dreams are fulfilled. Oh, did I mention that Arden's also a member at Venture, making things even more complicated? Awkward? Understatement of the year! Then comes the ultimate test. One man's secret has the potential to destroy his entire life, possibly his friends, and even their dreams. Only Arden can help. Will she? Is this crazy plan even conceivable? Or will the perfect working relationship, the success that's just beyond their fingertips, be shattered? There's only one answer. The question is, what will each of the five have to sacrifice for that answer? As you probably know by now, I adore Tymber Dalton's books. This one is no exception. However, this story's a bit of a departure for Ms. Dalton and the Suncoast Society series. It's truly a standalone, and has a lot in common with the reverse harem books so popular right now. But, as always, Ms. Dalton has reached beyond the obvious. This is far from a simple reverse harem story. Arden is one of the funniest, quirkiest characters Ms. Dalton's created in awhile. She's absolutely hilarious with her ability to "swear like a sailor" without saying one curse word! I adore her sense of humor, her work ethic, and most of all, her absolute devotion and dedication to the people surrounding her. Ken, Trace, Steve, and Hal are the best of friends, have absolute faith and trust in each other, and love each other in every way. Each has his own unique personality with all the flaws and strengths inherent in any person. "Non-sequiter Hal" with his out-of-left-field comments, joking nature, and brilliant mind is a joy...and a pain! Ken is the workaholic, intense and focused, but with hidden softness and joie de vivre. Steve is no less brilliant than the rest but he's the outdoorsman with hidden depths. Trace may be focused and intense in his work, but he's also shy and introverted. And there's absolutely no doubt that each man is a true dominant. Add Arden to the mix, and you have a combustible combination. To blend such diverse personalities into a story takes true talent. To pull together the conflicting interests and unique challenges facing each character is even more difficult. For even the most talented of authors, this would be an incredible challenge. But, as always, Ms. Dalton demonstrates her expertise by writing a compelling and enthralling story that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to end. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton! You're in-depth look at a polyamorous "reverse harem" lifestyle is 100% genuine and absolutely real. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead deserves nothing less than five stars! A final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. Book #69, Suncoast Society. Boyd, TISSUE ALERT! Boyd, Caleb, and Ella's story is heart-wrenching and utterly riveting! SPOILER ALERT: THIS IS THE CONCLUSION OF BOYD AND CALEB'S STORY BEGUN IN INDIFFERENCE OF HEAVEN, BOOK #68. THAT BOOK DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE READ BEFORE THIS ONE. IF YOU HAVEN'T, THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS. Boyd and Caleb have finally embraced their love and kinkiness. But will anything ever be simple for these two? Boyd's still Caleb's direct superior at work. That simply CAN'T come out. There's a way to fix this, right? Caleb's spent his entire life in the closet. He won't hide his love for the man who's stolen his heart! But that's soon the least of their problems. Ella Stinton reappears. She disappeared after dropping the bombshell that Boyd's her father. Boyd's never doubted Ella. She's his spitting image. But Ella's added a level of complexity to an already complicated relationship. Can Caleb accept Ella's presence in Boyd's life? Surprisingly, that's the least of either man's worries. Soon, the perfect storm of events hits, threatening everything. As Boyd flies to Oregon to get to know his daughter better, Ella reveals a secret that has the potential to destroy everything. And there's someone out there who'll do anything to be sure that secret never sees the light of day. Even with Boyd's support, Ella's secret comes out, and she's never been in more danger. As Boyd and Caleb prepare to move Ella to Florida, neither Boyd nor Caleb can possibly know what's in store. Can things get any worse? Oh, yes! Even from over 200 miles away, Caleb's homophobic family is still trying to destroy his life, with Boyd and Ella caught in the crossfire. With so many threats coming from every possible direction, how can any of this work? Will Boyd and Caleb's jobs ever let them live openly together? What about Ella? Can Caleb accept her as part of their family? And just who is willing to do what to keep Ella's secret from coming out? There's only one way any of this can work. Boyd and Caleb's love, belief, and trust in each other have to be rock solid for life. Ella has to trust that her father and Caleb both love and accept her, will protect her, but still allow her the autonomy she needs. Far less stress has broken far stronger relationships. The question is, do Boyd and Caleb have what it takes not just to love each other but to have the family both desperately want? It will take faith, belief, and trust the likes of which are seldom seen. Are any of them capable of that? Because, in the end, that's the only thing that will save all three! From the second I finished Indifference of Heaven, I was on pins and needles waiting for Like the Seasons. It so worth the wait! Boyd and Caleb had already fought so many battles with so many obstacles still to come. You desperately want things to work out for these two. As roadblocks, danger, petty grievances, and hate are thrown in their paths, you get the sinking feeling that none of this can ever work. Just when you start to think, "Yes, finally," another crisis arises. Each has more potential than the last to completely ruin everything. As level-headed and calm as Boyd has always been, he's never had to cope with the things he now faces. Caleb? He's hidden his entire life, afraid of what others think. But is he more than even he realizes? And Ella? Self-sufficient, driven, she's always been confident, independent, not needing anyone. But is that even possible now? Boyd, Caleb, and Ella are so very different but soon learn they need each other like the air they breathe. This story isn't just riveting. As always, Ms. Dalton is unparalleled. Her intimate knowledge and understanding of BDSM, people, and their motivations is extraordinary. To give Like the Seasons anything less than five stars is impossible. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton, on yet another captivating story! A final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. Book #68, Suncoast Society. Tymber Dalton doesn't just knock it out of the park! She sends it into the stratosphere! This book is perfect! Loneliness? What's the antidote for something over which you have no control? For Boyd Nyberg, it's attending his friend Kent's parties. Full-on, no-holds-barred sexy time? Oh, yes! Are there rules? Absolutely! Kent's no fool! But even Kent's wild parties can't banish Boyd's deepest longing...a partner of his own, for life. Worse still, there's a man who gets to Boyd like no other. But isn't there always a catch? Caleb Prevost doesn't just work in the same county office as Boyd. Boyd is Caleb's immediate superior. Boyd has no clue if Caleb's gay or even interested in him, but that makes no difference. He can't even approach Caleb. Can anyone say sexual harassment lawsuit in the making? So Boyd torments himself with fantasies of Caleb, attending Kent's parties, and pretending the parties are a substitute for what he truly needs. Meanwhile, Caleb's been half in love with Boyd's gorgeous blue eyes and hunky body since his first interview. But Boyd's his boss. He just can't go there, even if Boyd might be gay. Kent soon calls Boyd. Seems he's found a person he thinks is the perfect man for Boyd...a sub, gay, and a masochist. Boyd's radar immediately goes on alert. Isn't this a little too convenient? Kent's set up a meeting for the two. But this mystery man has conditions that are nonnegotiable, including complete anonymity. That suits Boyd just fine. It's not that he doubts Kent's good intentions. But no one other than Boyd can make a decision about who might be perfect for him. Since the other man wants anonymity, Boyd decides to wear a hood to hide his identity too. Although doubts flitter back and forth through Boyd's mind, maybe this is just the thing he needs. Sure enough, when Boyd shows up, the new man appeals to Boyd in every way. Blindfolded or not, Boyd's an experienced Dom and Top. He can easily read this man's body language. Boyd and the mystery man have a fantastic time. Then a fateful move by the mystery man gives Boyd the shock of his life! This is heart attack territory! What's he going to do? He's in so much trouble here. The only saving grace is the other man still doesn't know who Boyd is. This is the biggest mistake of Boyd's life. Is there any way to keep this from upending his life? If so, Boyd's certainly not seeing it. What's happened can't be undone. Ultimately, it's up to Boyd to decide what to do and how to fix it. Unless he can figure it out, disaster is inevitable! This book is another very special story. Every character is totally unique and driven by something completely different. Boyd obviously feels a deep need for connection on so many levels: human, love, kink, all of it, on a visceral level. I can so relate to this need because I've felt that same thing. Boyd may be successful in business. His life may be settled and comfortable materially. But none of that can fill the void in his soul. Caleb's traumatized by his past, his family's total fanaticism against gay people, their complete hatred of everything that Caleb is. After moving hundreds of miles from his family, he's just come out, just not to his family. And Kent? He's rich, flamboyant, and full of genuine joie de vivre. He's fascinating and irresistible! But the genuine dilemma here is how can Boyd handle anything that's happened? Ms. Dalton rarely ends a book with a cliffhanger but, in many ways, this one ends exactly like that. And even though her next book isn't far off, it's true torture waiting for the continuation of this story. As always, Ms. Dalton is unparalleled. Her intimate knowledge and understanding of BDSM, what drives people, their motivations, and how make a genuine connection with another is extraordinary. To give Indifference to Heaven anything less than five stars is impossible. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton, on yet another absolutely stunning story. One final note. Please be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you already know you won't enjoy this genre, this book may not be for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author! She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Book #67, Suncoast Society series. Jessica, Kyle, and Tristan's story will grab you, sweep you away, and alternately break your heart and give you hope! SPOILER ALERT: IT'S HELPFUL TO READ A CLEAN SWEEP (BOOK #8) AND HIS CANVAS (BOOK #10) FOR THE BACKSTORY OF SEVERAL CHARACTERS IN THIS BOOK. THERE'S ALSO AN APPEARANCE BY A CHARACTER FROM THE GOOD WILL GHOST HUNTING SERIES WHO MAKES A RELATIVELY SMALL, BUT SIGNIFICANT, APPEARANCE IN THIS BOOK. Jessica's had enough. A hurricane, finding out her boyfriend is a cheat and liar, and, in the midst of it all, finding a sweet. abandoned, maltreated dog. When a dear friend from her past provides a no-strings-attached chance for Jess to return to Sarasota, she's all in. It's the perfect chance to start over. A new job, reviving her erotic photography business, returning to her kinky friends and "family" at Venture? It's a no-brainer. Meanwhile, Kyle and Tristan's lives have just taken an unexpected turn. Roommates for five years, friends for even longer, both men are bi, openly kinky, running the rope group at Venture.. Tristan's hoped Kyle would act on the attraction between the two. Seeing the disastrous relationships Kyle's had with women has taken its toll. When Kyle's ex, Marilyn, uses her son as a crutch to maintain her hold on Kyle, Tristan's had enough. He makes his move. When friendship turns into much more, it has the potential to destroy the men's friendship. And despite the fact that Kyle wants children, Tris has no such illusions. His past left him scarred, convinced he's not parent material. Then lightning strikes. Jess enters their lives. But can things be so simple? Apparently not. Jess' past has left her with lasting scars from which she may never recover. Trust is nonexistent. While there's a magnetic pull all three feel, Tris and Kyle know they have to move carefully, slowly. But is Jess even capable of accepting these two? When the perfect storm of misunderstanding, past fears, and insecurity strikes, the burgeoning trust between the three is shattered. Jess runs. Then the ultimate betrayal seems destined to destroy any hope. With everything on the line, is there any to salvage what might be? Doubtful? No, impossible! But Tris and Kyle are determined. Can they show Jess they're in it for the long haul? The better question is can Jess see beyond her past, embrace the present, and believe in the future? Without trust and belief, there's no hope. In the end, can three damaged people forge a future where commitment and trust mean everything? If not, their present is over and the future has just been obliterated! This book is a whirlwind of broken trust, past betrayals, and the hope of new beginnings. Tymber Dalton once again offers a unique look not just into the world of BDSM with its unlimited possibilities and beauty. It also provides a extraordinary window into the world of a polyamorous relationships with all their difficulties, balancing acts, and complexities. Kyle and Tristan are utterly fascinating. The evolution of their friendship into something so much more is fraught with complications, uncertainty, doubts, and fears. Jessica is ultimately subject to her past and the belief that those traumatic events define her very existence. You'd never expect these three to find a way to come together in any way. The differences that define them are more than diametrically opposed. Yet Ms. Dalton makes this work. Tymber Dalton not only understands BDSM. She knows people, how life throws curveballs, and the power people have to either accept their pasts and move forward or to hide in their misery. As always, she's shown that love has the ability to rise above any trauma and transcend any pain. This book deserves far more than five stars. Congratulations, Ms. Dalton, on yet another absolutely extraordinary story! One final note. Please be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes.
