The Chosen Ones (LoveXtreme) by Stormy Glenn (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )
$4.99
Categories: Menage a Trois/Quatre, Paranormal, Alternative (M/M, Gay)

This reviewer's rating: 4 - Good

I love Stormy Glen books. I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars. The reason I could not give the book a full 5 stars was because of a two things. 1. The first chapter was little off. As I read the first chapter, it was hard to grasp what was going on with Spencer. It wasn't until Spencer called Garret that it started to become clear. It was confusing. 2. I was conflicted on the bad characters motive. I get that some wolves want their Alpha to be well, be an Alpha. But the story could of gone more into why the bad character did what they did. Instead of a few lines/page. It was like, the suspense came up and bam. It was all over. Like a two pump chump kind of feeling. Overall, the book was a good read. I like that I was able to get a feeling of the consorts and how they briefly became part of the story. It was to be expected for having 5 consorts.

I think this book. I think I was looking for a little more drama/suspense but only got a little. That is why I did not get it a full 5 star. I plot was good and I like the characters. I hope to see a continuation of this book.

Cute story. I was expecting more drama/suspense and maybe a little more finding their love. It didn't but overall cute story. Easy read in a couple of hours.

I do not know what to say about this book. I guess I should say that this is not a normal paranormal romance book. There is no shape shifter that smells his mate and goes after her. This is about a chemical that changes human female to become mates/breed partners. Only "true" breed partners can have shifting babies and obtain mating marks. Otherwise, all other shifters have human babies and not mating marks if they mate a female. I like the book description of this book, thus I bought it. I liked the story of the book too. What I was disappointed on what the last couple chapters of the book. I was actually hoping that her breed mates would join them? Or work out something. As they state in the book. But that wasn't the case and I felt bad for her bread mates. Oh well, To me the book was okay.

First, let me say I have not read all the books in this series. Some of the book descriptions just did not peak my interest. But I did look forward to reading Darla's story. With that being say, lets get started. Okay, I really liked their was a prologue. I wanted to know how she got pregnant in the first place. Instead of just jumping right into the story. What I did not like was how everything came out to the Willis brothers. Right after the prologue Darla was moving into their home and everyone knew Luke was the father. I really wanted to read how they found out and the reactions to being a father. As well as Jon and Ryan. I think that took out some of the bite to the story. Just and FYI, the webpage doesn't state if the book is a stand alone or has to be read in order for the series. Otherwise, the book was okay. I like that they also had a epilogue. I always love to read how the character become after getting together.

I have read every book in this series. I picked a 4 out of 5 stars. I liked the book but I was hoping for more drama with her ex-boyfriend. Just the brief encounter at the end was a huge let down. Overall, its a good read.

I bought this book because I loved the first one. The reason I gave this one a 4 out of 5 stars because it just didn't keep up with the first book in this series. I think I held high expectations for it. I think what was missing was more detail or more than what was offered while they were captured. I can see how their reactions became when they arrived home. I was also surprised on how she let Tyler back in so easily. so could of put up more of a fight. But that was just my opinion. Overall, it is a good read. I have not re-read this book since my initial purchase. Even though I re-read the first book in this series quiet often.

First let me say that this was my first time reading any book from this author. Just an FYI, I do not know if they have more than one pen name. LOL. While breezing through the books online. I came upon this book. I read the description and was intrigued by it. So, I read the experts and found it to be enjoyable to me. This lead me to buy it. The story kept up my interest. That says a lot because sometimes the I breeze through other books because the same personal dilemma repeats so often that it gets redundant. I have not read many books that deals with a wheelchair bound lead female. That was a plus. I liked the courting period. You get to know the lead characters. I was not surprised by how the trouble was caused. You can guess who was the main bad person right away. The only thing was just waiting for when they would make the move. Overall, I gave the book 4 stars because it was a great read and offered a different type of female lead. I did not give it a 5 because it is a book that I would not read again. That is when I know the book is an outstanding.

I love this book. As I have read and re-read this book many times since I bought it. I cannot wait for the second book to out in this series. Kylie is a earth female who was save on a ship by Aiden. They married on his ship and have been in sexual bliss since. Then Aiden signs them up to host a young male during his golden change. Which is just him changed skin color from silver to golden. The females on the planet do no like Kylie because she is different. She makes friends with Jacob, the young man, and friendship arise. Once Jacob is turned golden, he is suppose to seek meeting with eligible females. Dylan and Jacob talk and Kylie overhears the gossip and she gets sick. Aiden get pissed off, Dylan is sorry for the gossip, and Jacob is sorry for causing her to get sick because he did not follow their morning ritual for infection. Over all the drama they form a menage relationship. What really captured my love for this book was the Epilogue. I loved reading to see what the babies look like, the sex of the babies, how their families react, and the fathers. I just hope that they will appear in the next book and their after. Just to keep up with the characters. I would hate for them to just drop after you get to know them.

Melanie (MFMMM) by Ashley Malkin (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )
$4.99
Categories: Contemporary, Menage a Trois/Quatre, Paranormal, Shape-shifter

This reviewer's rating: 4 - Good

This book was good but not over the top outstanding, in my opinion. Melanie is a nursing working a night shift for the 7th day in a row. As an incoming call comes in her team is attacked and she is the only one left alive. Hunter is enforce for the mountain lion pride and is the first to arrive at the hospital to see if the rouge lion is there. Also to see if the shift secret is out or not. He catches his mate blood scent and his protectiveness comes out. He notifies his other brothers, Finn (alpha), Cooper (Beta) and Dane (fellow Enforcer) about finding their mate. As all alpha mates act they take Melanie to their house to take care of her. I do understand that she is all alone but she doesn't even put up a fight. She just goes with them. Then they explain to her what they are and how she is to them. She then tries to run away because she thinks they only want sex. ***Spoiler Alert***** She is a virgin and she automatically lumps them into a group of shitty guys. Of course she mates them. Gets kidnapped again and beaten to shit and almost raped but Cooper stops it. They remate her and she gets pregnant. What I like and think is a pro is that the author put in a Epilogue in the book. But I was disappointed to not find out about how many babies she has or the gender. I believe it takes place a couple of months after she gets better and starts up baking. Its a good read.

For Your Eyes Only (MF) by Melissa Hosack (Published by: Evernight Publishing )
$3.99

I have to say that this book was to short for my liking but still a great book. As the expert says, Lily is at a custom party and is considered a wallflower. There she meets Nathan, a real ghost. They talk and hit it off. Both of them go to her place and get things done. The relationship is finally realized the next morning and Lily is okay with "seeing" Nathan..... I have so engrossed in this story that I was done within an hour to hour and a half. I was really pulling for these two to have a happy ever after. But of course they did. I did tear up and let a few tear drops drop at the end of the book but it was totally worth it. What I think would be a extra over the top addition to the book is an epilogue. That way we can see what is going on in the future. Maybe Ms. Melissa will add one.

Reading the description and expert was what made me want to by and read this book. I even saved it for last because I thought that it would be a great book. In reading this story, you got a understand the main characters feelings and background. I was able to understand where she came from. But the two other main characters was so so. Yes, they were interested in Icarus. And you could read it but what I was disappointed in was that the story didn't get into their background. They were bother kicked out of their houses but was never told why. Or how they maintained to still be together all those years if they were at each others throats. I think by having that written into the story it would of been a great book. Thus only giving a 4 out of 5 stars.

I was interested in this book from reading the description and expert. I was thinking there was going to be drama from the pack that kicked them out, suspense from what would happened between the three, and hot steamy sex. What I read was very little drama/suspense. Once the opportunity for Thea to get with the two men she jumped right in. Which I can get. But that's it. I think it was also weird that when they finally claimed her as her mate they both wore condoms and just bite her. Majority of paranormal books they have to claim by biting and releasing the semen into the female body. But that's just me. There also wasn't any drama from Ty or Zane's old pack. Or from Grace who was looking for a mate. The book was basically them coming together, having about 4 sex scene and HEA. The reason I gave it an average was because the read flew together. Even though some were breezed by. The concept was put together and I enjoyed the read eve with what I was hoping for.
