This was a new semester and I was well aware that my dreamgirl Lydia was re-enrolling in school. I wasn’t sure how the sleeping arrangements would work. I didn’t want to hurt Diana’s feelings, because I was really fond of her, but if Lydia wanted me for her roommate this semester, I was gone. After all Lydia was my dream girl and Diana knew it.

After the Lyft driver who’d driven me from the airport to the campus, helped me get my duffle bag out of his hatchback, I slung it over my shoulder and hustled up the steps of the dormitory, took the stairs up one flight and walked down the hall to dorm room 214, which had been Lydia and my home during my freshman year and Diana and my home for the last semester. I was about to put my key in the lock when I noticed the door was ajar.

Curious.

Pushing the door open, I stepped over the threshold, into the empty room. I was about to set my duffle bag down on the multipurpose desk/table when I noticed a note resting there so I picked it up and scanned it; Dear Love, I'm back. Diana & I are in our new apartment 606 and we can't wait to see you. Much love, Lydia.

Hmm, the sixth floor, the top floor. I'd never been up there but having stayed in this building for most of the last 18 months, I knew that the sixth floor housed, not dorms, but actual studio apartments. Lydia and Diana are waiting for me in apartment 606? What's going on? I intended to find out.

Slinging my bag back over my shoulder, I headed to the elevators and pushed the up button. After thirty long seconds the elevator doors opened in the bay to my left. I slipped in, pushed the button for the sixth floor and instantly I was on my way to the sixth floor and my earthly version of Heaven.

Thirty seconds after exiting the elevator, I knocked on the door to 606.

At first I heard whispering & giggling on the other side of the door, then the door jerked open. I was startled, but before I could utter a word Diana & Lydia each grabbed an arm, jerked me inside and slammed the door shut.

There stood dream girl #1, Lydia and dream girl #2, Diana, barefoot and wearing matching see through pink and white babydoll nightgowns and big wicked smiles. I’m sure I stood there mouth agape for a few seconds
