Whether it’s a madcap chase with stolen cars or a night on the town with a pair of “working girls,” the rogue officers never let threat of disciplinary action get in their way as they cement their reps as irreverent street cops—they just take their DAYS ON THE BEACH, and then get back to business.

Brewster and Tex-Mex aren’t the only action on the mean streets of Oakland, however. The city is on edge as a sociopathic pair cuts a savage swath. Rape and murder cases stack up, but law enforcement’s frantic search is stymied until some good, old-fashioned gumshoe detective work leads to a high noon face-off.
