J.R. Jackson is a 40 year-old, divorced, Irish woman living in the Northwestern United States. She has an active imagination and an eclectic sense of the world around. She began writing short stories in college with plots ranging from science fiction to horror to humor. Her writing style is entirely character driven with interesting, straight forward plots written in tight, no nonsense prose. Her characters sometimes take on the personalities of the people around her, often with minds of their own. There a few things she will not explore from rock climbing to sailing to ocean fishing.
