Lizzie has been in love with her best friend,Tom, ever since high school but has never told him. At a party, after catching his girlfriend Nicole cheating with some other guy, drunk Tom crashes at Lizzie’s apartment. He makes a move but she turns him down because she values their friendship too much. Tom’s not done trying to convince her to take the plunge and let him love her the way he should have done a long time ago. Will they get it on and stay together?
Lizzie sipped her beer while listening to her best friend Tom telling a joke to his other friends. The house was crowded with people dancing, having fun and doing crazy beer games. When it cooled down a bit, Tom wrapped his arm around Lizzie.
“How are you, Missie? Having fun?”
Lizzie smiled. “Yep, I am.”
He grabbed her beer bottle and shook it a little before frowning. “Please don’t tell me this is still your first beer?”
“Huh, okay. It’s not my first beer,” Lizzie lied with a sheepish grin.
