Q: Your books under May Water encompass a slew of different relationship pairings. Do you have a favorite relationship genre to write about?
A: Yes, female/female. I find them to be the most natural relationships to write about, maybe because I have spent my life in a mostly matriarchal world, and the strongest influencers’ in my life have been women.
Q: If you could add one word to the dictionary, what would it be?
A: Bilovable. I use it a lot. I think it takes away some of the sexual pressure, you know? It focuses more on one’s feelings about others, rather than sexual urges.
Q: If you could take one word out of the dictionary, what would it be?
A: Should. The word seems judgy to me. Who says what one should or shouldn’t do?
Q: After a little break from erotic romance, what is in the future for your erotic romance writing?
A: I have a huge queue of unfinished works that I’m tackling. After going through the manuscripts, they are mainly male/female relationships, but who knows, my characters are known to stray off on their own, so who knows what will happen.
Q: When you’re not writing, what do you do for fun?
A: For me, getting out of the city and working on my homestead getaway is fun. I have become a sort of chicken mistress if you will. I raise, care for, and clean up after egg layers, as well as other poultry. I also try to grow food, which is a challenge due to my lack of green thumb. I do however manage to reap a decent harvest. My family rolls their eyes at my declarations of "I grew that!" but hey, it’s hard work!
