This is another story in a series that is fun-filled and guaranteed to make the holidays brighter. Embracing both the paranormal and fantasy genres, this tale will please all of us who choose to believe that love and friendship are not only healing but can be freeing for those who are "stuck" in the past. This author has the knack of writing in such a way that readers can really tap into the thoughts and emotions of the characters. It is a wonderful book and one that I found to be engaging in many ways.

I wish I could give this book more than a "5" because it is a delightful story of three individuals who have formed the "backdrop" in the lives of their friends as well as the community of Divine, Texas. Gage & Duke are security experts and find themselves on the hidden end of an investigation. Dr. Emma is a woman who has sacrificed almost everything personal in order to achieve her goals professionally, and now these three are neighbors. Finding that they share an attraction, they agree to fulfill their respective "bucket lists" but only as a threesome. The story is heart-warming and the characters are filled with enthusiasm for the discoveries they are making about each other and themselves. It is filled with friendship and loyalty, some very hot loving, welcome updates on other characters who have been featured in previous stories in this series, and a sense that all of these people are the kind of friends we would all want to have in our lives. Another terrific story from an author that has delighted all her fans of the Divine Creek Ranch series. While this is styled as a "holiday menage" tale, it is another engaging addition to a series that has become a delight for erotic romance fans and of those gorgeous people of Divine, Texas. You really don't want to miss this one!!

This is an intentional BDSM story that embraces the lifestyle of two friends, men who are confirmed straight and best friends, who know that their destiny and future are irrevocably connected, but who are finding it difficult to find a permanent "third" and 24/7 slave. It also chronicles the experience of a woman who has come to a crossroad in her life, one where she is finally free to pursue her interest in BDSM and who has entered into a six-month contract with her two "owners." This is a story that will offend some who have limited understanding of the lifestyle but will be an eye-opener for many who are learning that every relationship, including all in the BDSM context are unique and negotiated. It is a story that has some unique dynamics and which take into consideration Grace's unique personality, the needs of her two lovers, as well as helping them all to move forward from some significant disappointment in their lives. It is a really fine read.

Anyone who has read any of the Club Esoteria series of novellas will find old friends in this holiday offering. As I had read all the preceding novellas I was delighted to get the "updates" on the experiences of the people featured in the first three stories. I am a confirmed Cooper McKenzie fan and again state that my ONLY complaint is the short length to the stories. That being said, it is a fun read, a welcome addition to the series, and will be happily received by all who love these characters.

A somewhat different kind of romance in that the heroine is a really nice lady with some glaring problems--she can't cook, she really can't sing, and she gossips a great deal. The problem is that she is totally unaware of her glaring faults and also has a list of all the proper qualities she wants in a husband. One of the last of the women in the current "shipment" of brides on one of the bride's trains, she is nearly at the end of her contract and the contracting parties will have to pay her way home, find her a "situation" or reimburse for keeping her with room and board. So two brothers are convinced it would be in their best interest to "marry" her just for one month, when an annulment can be obtained if the marriage is not consummated. It is the sort of romance that seems to be without any real solution as the heroine continues to persist in her habits of gossiping, nearly poisoning those who eat her cooking--not really, but it seems that way--and torturing everyone who attends church with her singing. In addition, there are some political ramifications to the brothers' situation, some social consequences to the gossiping, and some heartbreak possibly in store for all the main characters. Well written and a story that will hold the reader's interest from the start. Even though it is fiction, it is based on a time in America's historical development of the West and will please those who enjoy historical romance.

This second episode in this Series brings in the elements of suspense and imminent danger to Mikayla. It also introduces the readers and Mikayla to the eighth brother Bryce. It is a fast-paced novella and will satisfy not only those who enjoy polyamorous relationships but the spice of undercover law enforcement and the bit of jarring that comes when matters don't move along in expected ways in the story.

Book 5 in this saga that continues to fascinate readers. Series like this are fun to read on the one hand, and terribly frustrating on the other--waiting for the next episode can get wearing. Yet the author continues to expand the stories of these nine people--now living on another planet as they continue their research as contract scientists. Yet all is not well, and they still search for safety and security for themselves and those around them. A novella-length episode with lots in it.

The one-time abandoned woman has now made a home with eight beautiful but very different men, all of whom love her dearly and in their own special way. Yet Mikayla is losing her "shine" and her longing for earth is getting the better of her. Set in the future when polyamorous unions were common and inter-planetary travel ordinary, this saga continues to develop the story of this remarkable woman and the men who make her dreams for the future continue to come true. But the road to "true love" doesn't run any smoother here than in our time. People are people, not matter the time or place.

The heroine is gorgeous, deadly, and filled with revenge toward those who have murdered her family. The men she works with all desire her but work even harder to keep their relationship professional. Lots of luck!! Again Natalie Acres has written a novel that is filled with delightful characters whose interaction keeps the repartee vibrant and the relationships sizzling. It's a fitting third novel in this series and certainly kept my nose riveted to the page from beginning to end. There are lots and emotional ups and downs in this novel but that's what keeps the story so interesting. Just one terrific erotic romance novel.

Ms Acres continues this series with another fine novel that will truly be a favorite for serious romance fiction fans.

This is a full-length romance novel that is full of gorgeous, hunky cowboys, a woman who has wanted them for years, secrets upon secrets that will mystify not only the story's characters but the reader as well. It is a novel that demonstrates the author's ability to write a compicated tale, with characters that are never simple or easy to understand, but who make the stories live in a wonderful way. The sexual interaction contains lots of BDSM and that is not for the faint of heart, but it is full of loving and caring and completely consensual. This is a book that true lovers of erotic romance will find satisfying and it is the beginning of a fascinating series. One of those books you will want in your library.

Book 3 in this saga is again fascinating and yet it is maddening as all cliff-hanging stories are. Yet it is a closer look at Dallas Wilde, the brother who has hung back and been skeptical of Jesse as a possible mate for all of them. It is well written and edited, but the story is very engaging and reveals that as the Dallas opens up to Jesse, she learns more about herself as well as what it would mean to be a wife to five brothers. Still griping that all these episodes are too short. They are hardly long enough to allow for a full character development. Yet I keep on reading them because what there is of them is really good.

Just released and "hot off the presses," this menage tale is filled with tenderness and the protective caring that Tymber Dalton's heroes are famous for. It's simply a spectacular addition to her list of great books. I'm already planning to re-read it in the very near future. No one who loves erotic romance should miss this book!

How can this not be a wonderful beginning to a fascinating series with two such great writers? Eve is a scientist with little love in her life so far, but she truly loves wolves and it is to Alaska she journeys in fulfillment of a grant proposal. Lo and behold, Eve is courted by six lovers, brothers and cousins who she eventually discovers are wolf shifters. They, however, have not told her that she is their mate. While the sex is hot, Eve's heart is hurting as she wonders if any of these gorgeous giants could ever love someone whose parents didn't even love her. The story begins . . .

I love shifter stories and this ranks right up there. Told beautifully, with well crafted characters, the story unfolds in such a way that the reader is right there when the heroine discovers that these two gorgeous men are lions who want her as their mate. But there is trouble afoot and the evil plans of a corporate conglomerate stand to ruin the peace and tranquility of Savage Valley. A great love story and an exciting paranormal romp. The best of both worlds!!

A fitting end to this series of six episodes. This futuristic family has "found their groove" and Mikayla has gained in confidence as the love of her husbands surrounds her. Even challenges from the past no longer upend her. What started out as a slave/master relationship has grown over the years into a beautiful family. Ms Blake has told each story beautifully and it is a series that was well worth the reading.

I found this story to be incredibly poignant as the heroine dealt with the suicide of her estranged husband, a man who had served in the military in the Middle East and had come home broken and depressed. His best friend's journey of discovery paralleled Ella's as together they not only discovered their attraction to one another, their compatibility to one another sexually, but they both found the truth behind the suicide. It is a book that is totally relevant for our time now and beautifully told by a writer who appears to have her finger on the "pulse of humanity." A really wonderful book.

The continuing story of Scarlett's saga as newly discovered mate to seven longhorn shifters. I still have to chuckle just a little when I visualize husbands becoming bulls. But be that as it may, Rhett is the brother with the rough edges, and he is prepared to help Scarlett face her fears even as he challenges her trust levels. He is into BDSM and as Scarlett grows in awareness of what her future will be, she is discovering more and more about herself. This like preceding episodes is well told, but too short to really allow the reader to get a "handle" on the brother or the burgeoning relationship Scarlett has with each man. All in all, it is an interesting series.

Author Jan Bowles tells a good story and this series is certainly more than readable and keeps the reader's interest, to be sure. This is a winsome story of a talented woman who must subject herself to the whims of an overbearing boss. Caught in the grind of fate, the heroine finds herself not only emotionally bound to the hero, but literally bound to his bed and in debt to his checking account. This story is long on erotic content--no complaint there--and short on plot, but it is a fun read. Those who object to BDSM content of any kind be advised of its presence in this story. Ms Bowles is a really good writer. And this is a fun read.

Not a stand alone work but closely connected to and dependent on the preceding episodes. Seemed a bit edgier than the ones before it because of Rand's craving. The heat is growing, not only in the bedroom but the mystery regarding the killing of wolves and the intent to kill Eve. Always gripe because each episode is too short and this one was shorter than the others. Is anyone listening?

A continuation of this series about those who struggle with their shifter backgrounds, who worry about the outcome of their lives within that context, and those who want the romance of the moment but wonder about what a life-long commitment would mean for them if, indeed, they claimed their mates. As always, Ms Martine writes beautifully and her characters, for all the paranormal fantasy at the core of the story, smack of real life, with real responses to situations that could come out of any scenario in today's world--minus the shifter stuff, of course. I have enjoyed all her books and find that she keeps the flow of the story consistent throughout, and a reader's interest is captured from word one. That means a really good novel, in my book.

Cooper McKenzie holds her earned position on my "really, really good romance writers" list with this story, and does so without any disappointment on my part. I am always complaining that her stories are waaaaaay too short, but she crams lots into them. I really liked this one--good characters, edgy action, some BDSM, and a story that flows well from page to page. What more can we want?

An interesting short story--probably best described as a literary "snack" and one that is beautifully written. I enjoyed it, but was sorry it was so short. All the characters seemed to be well crafted, and I liked the genuine caring expressed toward this woman who was so torn between her family's "programming" and her love for her "wolf." A very nice way to spend some lunch time break or a short read for a tired evening. Haven't read anything from this author previously, but found the writing to be very good.

This is a very interesting series, but none of the episodes can stand alone. The reader really has to begin at the beginning. Was fascinated by the idea of "longhorn shifters" but more interested, really, in the growing-up process Scarlett experiences as she comes to grips with the issues she faces: the love of these seven very different individuals, the realization that someone she trusted is still trying to kill her, and the need for her to get a grip on her adolescent view of life and really live as a grown up. Leo, as the oldest brother, is much older than Scarlett, has been waiting for his "mate" for many years, and has now realized that this very special woman requires some specific direction that he can and will provide along with the influences and loving care given her in succeeding episodes by his brothers. As always, my main complaint is the length of each of these novellas, and paying the price I would ordinarily pay for a full-length novel. But as I have started the series, I will see it through to the end. Good reading, no matter what.

Ms Dwyer has "hit one out of the park" with this novel of caring, loving concern, serious desire to protect and heal, and passion between Anna, a quiet and shy woman whose self-image needs what these cowboys have to give, and one whose loyalty to family and friends sets her apart. Her character was formed in the crucible of pain and abuse, but the purity of her spirit has survived and the love of her cowboys seems almost too good to be true. True romance fans will absolutely love this novel!!
