After growing up in a family full of music and inspiring Irish tales, Pat McDermott spent a few years in between real jobs as a singer and guitarist in an Irish folk band. Besides creating rousing adventure stories, she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, hiking, and travelingespecially to Ireland. A member of Romance Writers of America, Celtic Hearts Romance Writers, New Hampshire Writers Project, and Seacoast Writers Association, she currently resides and writes in New Hampshire.
