He’s the one man she was never supposed to want.

Rafe “Reaper” Callahan, Vice President of the Iron Creek MC, has spent twenty years protecting his MC, and standing beside the MC President his best friend. At forty-five, he knows better than to fall for a woman twenty years younger than him, especially when she’s his best friend’s little sister.

Sasha has loved Rafe for years, but she’s no longer the girl who left Iron Creek to marry her high-school sweetheart. She’s twenty-five, newly divorced, and ready to live life on her own terms. It doesn’t hurt that the gruff, tattooed biker she’s wanted for years is finally looking at her as a woman. One kiss and one stolen night isn’t enough. Sasha wants more, but when her fiercely protective brother discovers their relationship, all hell breaks loose. Rafe faces an impossible choice… protect the brotherhood he’s spent his life building, or fight for the woman who’s become his whole world. Rafe thinks walking away will keep everyone safe. He couldn’t be more wrong. Sasha won’t settle for being someone’s secret, and she won’t let Rafe decide what’s best for her.

Excerpt

When the elevator reached his floor, the doors opened. Rafe glanced down the empty hallway. He took her hand and led her toward his apartment. The second the door closed behind them, Sasha turned toward him.

For a heartbeat, they simply stared at each other. Then she kissed him. Rafe backed her against the door, one hand braced beside her head while the other settled at her waist.

The kiss was hotter this time. More certain. There was no hesitation left. Sasha’s hands moved over his chest, fingers curling into his shirt. Rafe caught one of her hands and brought it to his mouth, kissing her knuckles before looking into her eyes.

“You sure?” Rafe had to ask.

Her expression softened.

“Very.”

That was all he needed. He kissed her again. His hands moved over her back, drawing her closer, feeling the warmth of her through her clothes. She shivered when his mouth moved from hers to her jaw, then lower along her neck.

Rafe stopped for half a second. He could smell her perfume, feel her pulse beneath his lips, and hear the uneven rhythm of her breathing. He had imagined this, more times than he wanted to admit, but reality was infinitely more dangerous.

Sasha turned her face toward him. “Don’t stop,” she told him.

“You have no idea what you’re doing to me.”

A faint smile touched her lips. “I think I do,” she said.

He laughed under his breath.

“Brat,” he murmured.

She kissed him again. Rafe slid his hands beneath the edge of her jacket, pushing it from her shoulders. Sasha shrugged it off and let it fall to the floor. His gaze traveled over her gorgeous body with appreciation.

She noticed and her cheeks colored, but she didn’t look away. Instead, she reached for the hem of his shirt. Rafe caught her wrists.

“Bedroom,” he told her. “Because if we stay right here, we’re not making it anywhere.”
