Q: What is a typical day like for you?
A: I generally wake up at 7:00 a.m. and get my little one off to school. Then I settle down for three hours of hard writing. Okay, well, sometimes that actually works. Other days I'll stare at the screen for an hour or two before writing my first word. But I try not to let those tough writing days get to me. It's all part of the process!
Q: Why do you like to write erotic romance?
A: Because I love to read it, of course! To me, there's nothing more inspiring, more uplifting, than a great love story. And if that story has some steamy sex thrown in? Even better!
Q: If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
A: I was born in New York City and lived there until the age of twelve. Yes, it's a dirty, loud, and sometimes cruel place, but there's a magic to the city that I haven't found anywhere else I've been. In my ideal world, I would live there several months a year, and in the Florida Keys the remainder of the time.
Q: What do you hope readers get from your stories?
A: I hope they are entertained, that they forget about their worries, even if just for a little while. And if my stories get them in an amorous mood for their significant other? Well that's just icing on the cake.
Q: When did you decide to be a writer?
A: For as long as I can remember, I'd wondered what it would be like to pen a story. But I never thought I had it in me to actually sit down and write an entire book. Once my son was born and I was home on maternity leave, I realized I had nothing to lose and everything to gain. If I didn't at least give the writing thing a shot, I would forever wonder what could have been. So I sat...and wrote. Needless to say, that first manuscript was craptastic. But I became enamored with the process; I was hooked. Fast forward several years and several manuscripts and here I am, having the time of my life.
