Q: What made you write in the MM romance genre?
A: I accidentally picked up one of these eBooks, though to be honest, I didn’t have much expectation of enjoying it. Then when I did enjoy it, I wrote it off as a fluke and decided to pick up a second book. Book two then turned into hundreds of books and from then, I became hooked on the genre and with my preference leaning towards the paranormal that was how I found myself writing in the genre.
Q: What is your writing routine?
A: Well, I can’t say I have one. I never stick to routine so; I just let it flow as it comes. I could be up late into the night or call it an early night, depending on the characters and how they flow into my mind. When the characters are quiet, I take the time to edit the work I’ve written so far.
Q: Where do you get most of the ideas for you book?
A: Absolutely no clue. As I said earlier on, I’ve always had an over-active imagination and I have the weirdest thoughts sometimes. Weird good, I think. Anyways, I read romance books a lot so mostly; I could say the ideas pop into my head whenever it’s ready to reveal itself. Sometimes, I could be watching a movie and something pops into my mind or I could be walking or reading a new book and I get an idea.
Q: Who are some of your favourite authors?
A: With regards to this, I don’t have a specific genre I focus entirely on. A lot of the books I read in paperbacks are from Lisa Kleypas, Johanna Lindsay, Diana Palmer and the majority of the other books I read are all eBooks. Authors here include Bayli Lane, Stormy Glenn, Lynn Hagen, A.E Via, not to mention a few.
Q: Do you plan on continuing the series? Or do you have other stories?
A: I plan on continuing The Melrose Coven series. Right now, I’ve just published the first book and am currently working on the second. So long as the characters keep talking to me and my readers keep their interest in the book, I plan on writing more. I also have ideas for other stories and hope to put that down also.
