Wendi Darlin grew up twenty miles from the nearest stoplight, minutes from the Gulf of Mexico, and steps from an open pasture. A country girl with saltwater in her blood, she's equally at ease with grass or sand beneath her toes.
These days, she writes from her home in the city that she shares with her husband, son, their two shelties, and Sparky, the little wiener dog.
When it's time to take a break you'll either find her swinging on her parents' porch or playing on a white sand beach.
Q: Do you have plans to write a sequel to Cowboy Games?
A: Yes! And I'm thrilled so many people have asked me this question. I have a couple of projects I need to finish first, but I'm looking forward to taking another trip to the ranch soon.
Q: Do you write under any other pseudonyms?
A: Yes. I write non-erotic fiction as Wendi Christner.
Q: Tell us about a book you'd love to write in the future.
A: I'm looking forward to a cowboy series that is floating around in my mind right now. Something hot and fun and full of smokin' hot men who know how to treat a lady. Stay tuned!
Q: When you write, is there anything you set out to accomplish?
A: Definitely. I want to give readers all the things I love about reading. I want to engage their emotions, let them escape reality and spend time with characters they care about. But mostly, I want to remind them how it feels to fall in love. There's no better feeling in the world.
