Helping his brother escape the zoo, Rainy discovers more than just an array of animals.

Rainy scouts the zoo, planning a mission to rescue his brother, who'd been sold by poachers while in wolf form. He gets a whiff of the most intoxicating scent, the man Travis Carlyle, his mate. But he quickly finds out that before he can claim the handsome veterinarian, Rainy has to convince Travis that he's worth coming out of the closet for.

Travis leads a quiet, discreet life, avoiding any situation that could possibly out him to his family. After so many years alone, Travis finds the love, affection, and acceptance Rainy offers him too hard to resist. But just when he decides Rainy might be worth the persecution of revealing his sexuality, he discovers Rainy has been keeping secrets, a lot of secrets: Werewolves, Shifters, Mates? When he watches a shift with his own eyes, Travis is forced to accept the truth.

Declan McIntire, alpha of the Stone Ridge pack, spent over a century rejecting the daughters paraded under his nose, hiding his preference for a male. Scenting Lark Trystan at a pack BBQ, he's ecstatic to discover the cute, sexy human is his mate. He's even more pleased that Lark knows about shifters and has been interacting with them for months. Declan quickly realizes the issue is his large size and dominant personality.

Since the pack alpha is straight, Lark can't figure out why Declan's suddenly taking an interest in him. Doctor Gordon Digby came to Stone Ridge to help rescued shifters heal from their time abused by poachers. Finding a mate wasn't even a blip on his radar. Fate throws a wrench in his plans in the form of sexy tiger shifter Grady Stryker. The man sets Gordon's blood on fire and scrambles his senses. But Grady's a detective, and the good doctor has secrets he doesn't want revealed, including his own animal's transgressions.

Detective Grady Stryker believes finding your fated mate is the greatest gift a shifter can receive so he doesn't understand Gordon's reticence, until a friend gives him a little insight into Gordon's past. His resolve set, Grady realizes the best way to win his mate just may be the most fun: seduction.

Grady's plans get put on hold when more poachers appear in Stone Ridge. Except these humans aren't really poachers. They know about shifters, and if they can't capture them, they'll eradicate them.
