Mathew is a nursing student by day. He’s always been one to help others, but he receives lifesaving help at the scene of a horrific car accident.
David is a local firefighter and he is both intelligent and observant. After noticing the bottle of methamphetamine pills in the car he suspects the young man needs more life saving help with an addiction and works hard to stay in touch with him.
The firework show between these two sexy young men is off the chart and one night in bed leads to another, but will their love for each other help them through this?
David’s fingers glided across the young man’s skin, watching for the telltale sign of life. Breath or pulse. Something. Anything. David used the tip of his fore fingers pressing down slightly on the carotid artery. It should be the strongest and most easily felt pulse.
He closed his eyes and stopped breathing for a minute and listened and felt for it. He didn’t want to feel an echo of his own pulse by accident.
The pulse was light but it was there. He felt it jump under the pads of his fingertips. Once. Twice. Again.
The breath caught at his throat and then he screamed at the top of his lungs. “He’s alive! Can I get some help over here?!”
