Tony Taylor aka TT is a shifter and an alpha who longs for a mate. He is the leader of his Pokermoe tribe of tiger shifters. Darlene is also a member of that Pokermoe tribe. TT finds her very attractive and wishes they could be mates. What he doesn’t know is that Darlene is hopelessly in love with her alpha leader and she longs to be mated with TT.
Once you’re dead, Tony will believe we’re mates. Oh, he’ll be saddened of course, but I’ll comfort him... comfort him by screwing his brains out so he’ll forget about you completely.”
Darlene’s emotions went into over drive from shock to absolute rage. She asked with clenched teeth, “Jocelyn, do you know who I am? Do you know who we are? I could change into tiger form in a nano second, jump you and eviscerate you as a tiger does to a zebra in the jungle. You would be dead before you hit the ground.”
Rather than being frightened by Darlene’s statement, Jocelyn smiled as if she’d had an ace up her sleeve. It turned out to be a gun instead. She’d had her arms crossed, holding the knife in one hand while listening to Darlene. When Darlene stopped raving, Jocelyn dropped her arm, and a small gun slid down her limb from where it had been hidden in her sleeve into her hand.
She said with a smirk, “Well, I guess I’m going to have to increase my odds of me living and you dying.” She pointed the gun toward Darlene, but hesitated before firing. Suddenly there was a twig snapping, causing Jocelyn to turn her head. This distraction was all the time Darlene needed. By that point, she was choleric with rage.
She slapped Jocelyn’s hand, causing the gun to fly about fifty feet. In the same motion, she smacked Jocelyn’s face with the back of her hand, sending her flying about ten feet.
Jocelyn lay there for several seconds.
Darlene watched closely for Jocelyn to make any sudden moves. She was about to change into tiger form a second time to finish her off. However, once she saw that Jocelyn was now defenseless, she changed her mind. She could easily tear this bitch limb from limb, but decided she wanted this to be fair. She would make this a genuine catfight without using her tiger form. She wanted Jocelyn to beg for her life.
Once Jocelyn regained her composure, she got up, shook her head, then looked at Darlene with equal rage. “You fucking bitch. I may not know you, but you definitely don’t know me. Yeah, I lived on the streets and because of that, I learned to fight on the streets. I have taken on johns that were twice my size when they refused to pay me for sex. They’re now walking with a permanent limp or missing a ball in their nut sack. So, you’ll be a piece of cake to take out. As I said, once I marry my Tony, he’ll forget all about you.”
When Darlene heard Jocelyn’s two words, my Tony again, that was it. She completely lost it.
