EXCERPT FROM "Hatch"

Dante hadn’t entirely meant to end up kissing his rescuer, at least not the same night as they’d met. Eventually, yeah, because Cam managed to be cute, handsome, smart, adorable, and the kind of guy to do anything for someone. Not even just someone he cared about, but strangers he’d hauled off the side of the road.

He felt perfect underneath Dante, strong and warm. Cam moaned and ground up against Dante, rubbing their cocks together. A rush of heady desire whipped through Dante.

“I want you,” Cam gasped against Dante’s lips. “I mean, I still want to take you out and hang out ... but, fuck, right now I need you.” He paused. “If that’s okay, we don’t have to do --” Poor guy sounded a little lost.

Dante nipped at Cam’s lips. “I want to do all of it. Sex now, dinner another night, anything you want.”

Cam groaned. “Awesome, that’s ... awesome.” He smiled, but then it dropped into a frown.

“No condoms?” Dante asked.

The frown deepened further, even though Cam continued rocking his hips to grind his hard length and Dante’s hip. “I’m prepared.”

“Right, Boy Scout.”

Cam’s lower lip crept out a fraction. “No, it’s just --” He sighed. “Look, I always have to have this conversation with partners, and I’ve totally had hook-ups walk away because I don’t give off the right energy or something.”

“Energy?”

“Welcome to New Mexico, but anyway ... I like to top.” His gaze turned challenging.

Dante laughed, the joy of the moment washing over him because, damn, could this guy get any more perfect? He ended up grabbing Cam’s shoulders and keeping him in place as he tried to wiggle away. “No, stop, this is happy laughter.”

“What?” The pout grew.

Dante couldn’t resist. He bowed his head and caught Cam’s lip, sucking and nibbling. Dante caught Cam’s wrists and pinned them to the floor on either side of his head. Tension leaked out Cam. He relaxed against the floor as Dante fully straddled him.

Dante licked along Cam’s throat, enjoying his gasp of pleasure. “You like to top, but you’re not dominant, is that what the problem is?”

“Yeah, um, I’m not saying I never bottom.” Cam’s heavy gaze landed on Dante’s face and the meaning to the words was clear, he’d bottom for Dante, at least right at that moment.

“God to know,” Dante drawled. “But it just so happens I like to bottom, but I’m telling you, lots of guys don’t enjoy a bossy bottom.”

A grin stretched over Cam’s face. “I am so damn glad I stopped to help you.”

Dante kissed the corner of Cam’s mouth. “Me too.” He wrinkled his nose. “At night, after I’d been driving for hours. I need a shower.”

Cam’s grin remained at a thousand watts. “I have a big shower.”

“Then clothes off and water on.”
