After that, there was a lull in the conversation, and Kevin noticed Peter darting his eyes around the shop. He took the opportunity to lightly kick one of Bruce’s legs. Bruce frowned and stared at Kevin who bit back a sigh of frustration. Then Kevin pulled out the two pieces of papers that contained the lists of sexual things he and Bruce would love to try out someday. Bruce’s eyes widened slightly.

“Oh!”

This time around, Kevin couldn’t refrain. He rolled his eyes at Bruce. Hard.

“Yes,” Kevin mouthed the word silently at Bruce. “You go first.”

Bruce visibly grimaced before he cleared his throat loudly. That was obviously enough to capture Peter’s attention because he immediately turned and looked at both Kevin and Bruce.

“What?”

Kevin could feel his anxiety returning full force. He was glad when Bruce grabbed the papers from him and passed them over to Peter.

“Before you read the things on those papers, Kevin and I just want to let you know that we both like you very much, and we think you’re fucking hot.”

Peter seemed amused. “Thanks, guys, and just so you know, you’re both really handsome. What are these papers for, though?”

Kevin gulped a little. “Why don’t you browse through them for a moment?”

“Okay.”

“Take your time,” Bruce interjected.

Then Peter was quiet for several seconds as he focused all of his attention on the words that were written on the papers. Kevin noticed the surprise that appeared on Peter’s face, but he forced himself not to react in any way. His apprehension skyrocketed when Peter eventually raised his head and glanced back and forth between him and Bruce. A mixture of confusion and astonishment was clearly displayed on Peter’s face.

“What are these?” Peter asked while cocking his head at the papers in his hand.

“Kevin and I had a frank and open discussion about our sex lives.”

“Okay, and?”

“Those are the results,” Kevin replied while pointing at the papers.

Then he clarified the situation to Peter, emphasizing the point that he and Bruce only wanted to experiment with a third person outside of their relationship. It wouldn’t be anything permanent. In fact, it would most likely be a one-time thing. Kevin was relieved when he realized that Peter didn’t seem to have any negative reaction so far, and that gave him the courage to share more of the details with the man. When he finally concluded his explanation, Bruce still didn’t utter a single word, but at the very least, he wasn’t running away from Kevin and Bruce. Kevin waited with bated breath for Peter to say something. Judging by Bruce’s stiff posture, he must be in the same condition as Kevin.

“I ... wow! I’m flattered. I really am.”

“You’re not offended?” Bruce asked.

“Not at all,” Peter answered with a chuckle.

“But?” Kevin prodded, feeling a bit impatient now.

“It’s just too sudden. I mean, don’t get me wrong. You’re both really good-looking and sexy. I definitely won’t mind having a threesome with either of you. Or both of you. Both will be good. For sure.”

Kevin was relieved upon hearing that. “So, do you want to do it?”

“Yeah, but not right away. When I went to Leon’s bar earlier, I wasn’t expecting anything like this. My mind was all over the place earlier. I’m physically ready, and I’m feeling better now, but I think my current mood isn’t wholly conducive to the thing we have in mind. I’m not sure I would be able to immerse myself completely in the experience if we were to do it tonight. Give me a few days to mentally prepare for it, and I also want to get myself tested for all sorts of STIs at the clinic. All of the results should be out then.”

“Right. Of course. Kev and I will do the same. I mean, the two of us have always been monogamous with each other, but it’s only fair that we visit the doctor, as well.”

“Okay. Do we have to share our likes and dislikes with one another? Sexually, I mean.”

“Maybe the basics?” Kevin suggested. “Other than that, let’s just go with the flow. Talking too much about everything will take the fun out of the experience later.”
