4 HEARTS: "This was a surprisingly sweet book that I really liked. Now don't get me wrong, the story and character interaction may have felt sweet but there was nothing sweet about the chemistry and sex between Sarah and her men. The sweet came in the way the men came to almost court her into coming back to them. This wasn't what I was expecting since I usually think of the dominant alpha men when I think of werewolves, but it was a nice change of pace and didn't disappoint. I also really liked that the story wasn't predictable. Not only did Ms April not stop the story in the spot I was expecting but she also managed to weave a few surprises into it that were really fun to read. There's a great scene with Sarah and her dad that was one of my favorites in the whole book." -- Amy Hopkins, The Romance Studio

4 STARS: "Dani April has written an exhilarating romantic tale featuring three traditional wolf-shifters from Great Plain, Montana and an independent modern girl from New York City. The moment Sarah arrived at the Circle T guest ranch Ryan, Lance, and TJ knew she was their one-true-mate. Problem is…they only have a week to convince her before she returns to her life in the city and they never see her again. Ms. April did a tremendous job of diversifying the characters by giving Ryan, Lance, and TJ very different personality traits – each offering something essential to the relationship with Sarah. Ryan has a vast amount of depth and was very impressive; as Alpha, his strength, honor, and confidence are the foundation of his character. Lance is the most reserved of the three – a tragic loss in his past has made him cautious and pessimistic, yet sensitive. The youngest, TJ, is considered impulsive, generous, optimistic – I liked him the most. The author achieved something very rare these days. She took an ordinary concept in a congested genre and made it spectacular. Her writing style made it seem that not only was it necessary to convince Sarah that she will make the prefect mate for a shifter-pack Alpha and his two Betas, but that you the reader also must to agree. Every moment that Sarah experienced with one of her sexy cowboys was crafted in way that felt natural. Ms. April remained true to the characters she created even when the situation was difficult. This is commendable. Not sure if there will be anymore adventures at the Circle T, but I have some vacation time coming up. Wonder if they have any open cabins?" -- Books Books and More Books, The Romance Reviews

Sarah was singed with an instant attraction for the men. Maybe it was because she was on the first day of her vacation and felt giddy and carefree. Or perhaps it was the high altitude of the ranch in Montana she was staying at. Whatever it was, uncharted territory had been entered, and she knew she had never felt anything like this before.

Three cowboys were in the corral putting on a show for the gathered crowd. A bucking, untamed bronco was giving them the challenge of their life. One cowboy was riding the wild horse while the other two stood by with ropes ready for a strategic lasso of the angry brute. All in all the three cowhands made quite a team, and a whole lot of eye candy in those tight, dusty jeans.

The cowboy riding the stallion into submission looked at Sarah with the truest blue eyes she had ever seen. She didn’t imagine it. He actually picked her out of the several dozen faces watching him from the crowd. Though he rode the back of a mean animal intent on throwing him off its back, the cowboy’s gaze was steady, and his eyes locked with hers for a second that seemed to go on forever.

Quickly the horse was brought to obedience under the calm stewardship of the three trusty men. The crowd gave their applause, and the cowboys tipped their hats politely in acknowledgment, one of them offering up the exaggerated bow of a showman.

The spectacle ended with the horse prancing in high-step fashion along the fence containing the crowd. The kids were even encouraged to lean across and give it a pat or two.

Sarah approached a young boy who obviously worked there from his white Stetson and the blue kerchief around his neck, the uniform of choice at the guest ranch. “I’m looking for someone who can verify my vouchers from the travel agency that booked my cabin here at the guest ranch. I just checked in, and the lady at the front desk told me I could find the owners down here at the horse show.”

“Howdy, ma’am.” The young kid tipped his hat in a gentlemanly fashion to Sarah. “Can I help get your bags down to your cabin?”

“No thank you.” Sarah gave him a smile. “I already got myself settled in. The only problem I have is that I was promised two free nights in the travel package I bought from the agency that booked me here. They gave me these vouchers. But the lady at the front desk said she didn’t know anything about that and suggested I come down here and find the owners.”

“Sure thing, ma’am.” The boy returned her smile eagerly. Everyone out here was so friendly and polite, making her feel like she had gone back in time to a more gentle and honest era. Sarah loved it, and she had only just arrived.

The boy pointed straight down the fence. “Those are the owners over there.”

Sarah did a double take. He had pointed to the three cowboys who had just finished with the show.

“I’m sure they can fix you right up. Come on over, and I’ll introduce you.”

“No. That’s all right.” Sarah begged off. “Thanks for your help. I wouldn’t want to interrupt them right now. They seem awfully busy.”

As if she were a moth drawn to a flame, Sarah walked the length of the fence headed toward the three cowboys. One of them was hamming it up and signing autographs for his newly made fans, the other was seeing to the well-being of the horse that had played such a pivotal role in their show, and the third was shouting orders to some of the cowhands.

When Sarah got close the men stopped what they were doing and fixed her with three hard stares. Again she knew she was not imagining this reaction from the men. They really were staring at her. For some unknown reason they had picked her out of their crowd of admirers, and now the focus of their world was on her.

Sarah felt her legs turn to spaghetti as she stepped fully up to them. They were still on the opposite side of the fence from her, and she was just as glad. She needed the wooden shingles of the fence to serve as a barrier between her and the electric energy thrown off those three wild cowboys. Seen up close for the first time it struck her they were every bit as untamed as the stallion they had just bested.

“My name’s Sarah Winter,” she started. There was a frog in her throat. Her voice sounded too husky, and she felt the need for a glass of water. “Sorry to bother you guys,” she started over. “I was told one of you was the owner of the guest ranch, and I happen to be a guest here. I just checked in.”

“Welcome to the Circle T, miss.” The cowboy who had ridden the horse reached across the fence and took her hand. It was a simple gesture meant to welcome her to their ranch, but their skin touched for a tad too long, and electric sparks jumped down Sarah’s arm. “My name’s Ryan McCloud and this here is Lance Bowie and TJ Hawkin. All three of us own the Circle T. How can we be of assistance to you?”

Sarah explained what her problem was with the voucher and the two free nights’ stay in her cabin. She felt like a teenager again when she spoke with the cowboys. She stuttered and stammered and could hardly form a coherent sentence.

“Don’t worry about a thing,” Ryan assured her and put her instantly at ease. “We’ll take care of everything.”

Ryan had to hold himself back with every ounce of strength he could dig down deep for. The animal side of his nature was taking over. He wanted to rip Sarah’s clothes from her body, wanted to mark every inch of her flesh as his very own, needed to claim her in the worst way.

The single room of the bunkhouse was dark and lit with the light of the full moon. A solitary twin mattress rested without covers or sheets on the bed frame. Side by side they sat on the springs and continued kissing, their exploration of one another’s bodies expanding with each lingering touch.

Ryan had succeeded in stripping Sarah to her white sleeveless undershirt and cotton panties. Kneeling on the wood floor between his outstretched knees, she helped him to unbutton his shirt, and then bent methodically to remove his boots one at a time. All the while her big blue eyes threw a questioning glance up to him making sure this was all right.

“I sent Lance and TJ away so we could be alone,” he explained to her through constricted breathes. “They’ll be back here soon. They want you.”

“I want them, too.” Her voice was a barely audible whisper, but the smallness of the room made it a tiny echo.

Only disaster could come of this. The human side of Ryan’s brain recognized this as a fact. They needed to move slower and have the time to explain who and what they were to her. But they didn’t have any time. She had to go back to the damn city in two days. If they didn’t act now they might not ever see her again. Yet it still didn’t make it right to involve her with them when she had not the faintest clue as to just what she was getting involved with.

But the moment her deft fingers moved up to the zipper of his jeans, the animal inside him took control and roared for full release. Pivoting his hips, he pushed the jeans down his legs, and she helped to pull them off his feet and throw them away to the corner of the little room in a heap.

Using her delicate fingers, she held his swollen cock upright and seemed to give it a once-over examination. Then she bent into his lap and took him into her mouth, swallowing him down her throat. Lapping sounds from her tongue and saliva resonated in the dark and elicited a tight groan from his heaving chest.

His wolf wanted to mark her, and his wolf was wrong. Mating was not a thing to be taken lightly. It needed the full consent of both parties. Yet at the moment the wolf inside him had become stronger than the rational-thinking man.

Pulling her off his throbbing cock and up onto the bed beside him, he got her as naked as he was so he could complete the act.

* * * *

Sarah knew she had lost her head with this too-good-to-be-true cowboy and surrendered her thinking in the land of irresponsibility. But what the hell, even though she hadn’t seen anyone in months she was still on the Pill.

When he pulled her panties past her ankles, she left her thighs open wide for him. He mounted her, and she reached between them to take his cock back between her fingers and run the head along the entrance to her pussy.

The ache between her legs had never been this bad before. She had to have him inside her. When he shoved forward and into her pussy, she wrapped her arms around his wide shoulders and held him down, a loud gasp escaping her lungs, and her face scrunching up at the first sensation of penetration.

No need for foreplay, she was wet and ready and panting from a building release as soon as he developed a rhythm. All gentleness was forgotten between them as her nails raked his back and his hips pounded against her inner thighs, sending his cock deep inside her womb.

Thank the heavens no one else was around and she could scream, and she did just that, shouting to the tiny ceiling above the mattress as her orgasm ruptured inside her body.

“Get on your stomach!” he commanded her. He was panting and grunting, but apparently not done with her yet.

Coming down from her high, she was almost too tired to comprehend or comply.

Ryan’s voice sounded strange, rough, and bestial.

Doggy style had never been her favorite position, but he had given her a good time, so she would be patient and let him have a good time back there as well.

Taking matters into his strong, capable arms he flipped her around on the mattress to where she was on her hands and knees, her butt in the air and facing him.

Quick and unyielding, he had her repositioned before she knew what was happening or even had a chance to respond. She had a feeling he was about to take her on the ride of her life, and anticipation burned hot in her belly. The first orgasm had been so strong it had exhausted her, and she only hoped her body was up for another one.

Grabbing hold of her hips he sank his cock deep inside the snug fit of her pussy once more and started thrusting. In her sexual couplings of the past she had never been multiorgasmic, but she had a feeling tonight might be an exception.

This cowboy certainly knew how to ride her, and she was enjoying every mile of the journey.
