STORY EXCERPT

“I don’t know how we’re going to get through to her,” Brent said as he tapped his hand on his knee. They had been sitting in silence, Cooper on the couch and Brent in the recliner. They had heard the shower begin, and Brent’s cock was at full staff for the umpteenth time today. “My bear needs to get out, and soon. It knows its mate is near.”

“Tell me about it. When we get her settled downstairs, I need to go for a run, and then we can come back to help her out.” Cooper looked tired. Brent knew how he felt. They had been cooped up in hotels, offices, and the SUV since Brent stepped off the plane. There hadn’t been time or a place for them to release their beasts. Upon arriving here in town, they had made a beeline for the bakery.

In fact, they never did get to eat. Brent’s stomach growled. “But first, we’re going to eat.”

Cooper chuckled. “I agree.”

“After we run, we need to talk to Jasper.”

“You don’t need to talk to him,” Dee said, her sweet voice a bit shaky. “I’ll tell you everything, but let’s get you guys fed. We can talk in the shop while you’re eating.”

She had changed into a pair of black sweatpants and a pink cable-knit sweater. She looked nice and warm and comfy. Brent was glad to see her dressed to beat the cold. However, her hair was wet, but she had put it in a braid down her back. She was carrying a black and white parka.

Brent stood as did Cooper, and they both stepped over to her. They didn’t crowd her, for they didn’t want to overwhelm her. That had already happened, and they knew she needed some room.

“Are you sure about that, baby?” Brent asked. “If you want to wait a bit, we can.”

He hated to say the words, but he had to give her an option. He knew they couldn’t pressure her into anything. She had to make the decision to do this for herself.

There was something more relaxed about her as she stood before them. Her shoulders weren’t up around her ears like before, and her face seemed more relaxed also. He had to wonder if it was the shower that did that to her, or was it something else.

Cooper reached out and took the parka from her and held it out for her. She slipped into it, and Brent smiled when Cooper pulled the braid out of the top of the garment.

“I still have a lot of work to do tonight,” she informed them, a blush stealing over her features. “Would you guys like to help out?”

“We do need to go to our house and check it out after we eat, but we’ll come back afterward.” Brent gathered Dee in his arms. “We’ll stay as late as you want, and we’ll be back in the morning like we already said.”

Her teeth began to worry her lower lip as she suddenly became interested in something on the floor.

“What is it, cupcake?” asked Cooper as he placed a couple of fingers under her chin and lifted her face up toward him, gently.

“Um...” She cleared her throat nervously. Her eyes sparkled, giving her more life than Brent had seen since they arrived at the shop. “You’re shifters, aren’t you?”

It felt as if Brent had been slugged in the stomach. She didn’t want to be with them because of their genetics.

His beast roared within him, demanding release, but he had to tamp him back. There was no way he could let him out in front of Dee. She was already questioning them. It was obvious she knew about the shifters in Passion, but she didn’t seem afraid.

Cooper had picked up Dee’s hand and was holding it to his chest. He seemed to be handling it a bit better than Brent, for he said, “Yes, cupcake. We are. But we would never hurt you.”

“I know.” Her admittance surprised Brent. “I just wanted to verify.”

Brent released the breath he didn’t know he was holding until he felt a bit dizzy. “I’m glad that’s out now. If we’re going to make any of this work, even if we just wind up as friends, we have to be truthful about everything.”

“True,” she said, this time with a bit of reluctance. “But I’m afraid once you hear my story, you won’t want to be my friend.”

Sliding his arm around Dee’s waist, Brent hugged her to him. “Nonsense. There’s nothing you can say that would turn us away from you, baby. We want to get to know you. We’ve waited five years to come back and see you, and can I say, you’ve gotten more beautiful.”

“Pftt,” she scoffed as she turned pink again.

ADULT EXCERPT

It was as if a light switch had been turned on. Dee suddenly felt sexy, loved, and needed. These two men had gotten under her skin and into her heart. She loved that they took their time with her, giving her time to adjust to them.

To say she wasn’t scared of what was to come relationship-wise with the Gamble brothers would be a lie. However, she was tired of hiding. Tired of being alone. Tired of not living. In such a short time, Brent, Cooper, and Amara had helped her see what her life was really like. And that was about to change, with the first step being letting these two gorgeous men make love to her. Or rather, the three of them make love together.

Cooper’s cock was hard, long, and hot as it lay against her labia. Dee could feel the throbbing while her cunt quivered in anticipation.

Raised above her, holding his weight on his arms, Cooper was looking down at her. His eyes were dark with arousal, while a sheen of her juices marked the fact that he had just eaten out her pussy. When he had kissed her a moment ago, she thought she would be repulsed by tasting herself on his lips, but she found the taste to be erotic and naughty, but pleasant.

Her heart warmed further when Cooper said, “I know it’s been a long time for you, cupcake. If it becomes painful or uncomfortable at any time, please say something, and I’ll stop. Okay?”

She nodded. “Okay. Now please fuck me! I need you!”

Reaching down, she found the rounded form of his ass. She intended to get a better look at her men later, but she was going to enjoy feeling them now.

A glance over at Brent told her he was enjoying watching her and his brother together. From what she knew of ménages, she knew they would make love together one day, and she couldn’t wait for that to happen.

Propping himself on one arm, Cooper used his other hand to position his cock at her opening. Dee watched in awe as a contented, pained look settled on his face as he patiently inched his way inside her. He then put his other hand back down beside her.

She knew he was going slow because it had been a while for her, but the need to be filled was great. She fought the urge to tell him to hurry. With him pacing himself showed Dee how much he cared. Closing her eyes to hold back the tears that began to form, she hoped he took it as a sign of ecstasy.

His balls tickled her perineum when he settled within her fully, surprising her. She had never been filled so much before, and his balls were hot against her sensitive skin. Opening her eyes when he didn’t move, she found him watching her intently. Her tears had receded, but there must have been a sheen on her eyes, because he asked tightly, “Are you okay, cupcake?”

“I am,” she whispered as she dug her fingers into the rounded slopes of his ass cheeks and pressed her hands down. “But I need you to move, babe. I need you to fuck me. I need you, and then I need Brent. Please?”

To show him her impatience, she thrust her hips against his.

Confusion reigned over her, for there was so much urgency to make love to these two men. She also didn’t understand why she felt so at ease with them in such a short period of time and why she felt deep in her heart she belonged to them.

Cooper smiled down at her and then pulled his dick nearly out of her. He groaned as he thrust back in. His eyes closed as he hung his head.

It took a couple of thrusts before he picked up a steady rhythm so that he was striking a sweet spot that was lighting currents of electricity in her cunt. A fire was kindled in her core that was being stoked by each pass Cooper made of that heavenly place. She tried to hold Cooper to her with her hands, but she also tried to meet him thrust for thrust.

The tingling she had experienced just moments ago when she orgasmed began again. She hadn’t ever experienced the magnitude of climax she had before. It was these men who were teaching her to live and enjoy. The desire to reach that pinnacle again had Dee twisting her hips slightly each time hers met Cooper’s. She had discovered that when she did that, his pubic bone would graze her clit, which sent more fire to her core.

Brent turned her head toward him. She saw the desire and the love in the depths of those near-black eyes, and her heart performed a somersault. “Are you ready to fly again, baby?” he asked softly with a smile.

Nodding, she confessed, “I love what you guys do to me, and I want more. Does that make me greedy?”

“No.” Cooper’s voice was pained and gritty. “It proves you are ours, and we will love and protect you with our lives until the day we die.”

As Cooper spoke, his words were near staccato-like in between his thrusts. However, the meaning and the emphasis in which they were said thrilled her.

To say she wasn’t afraid of the future would be a flat-out lie, and she didn’t want them getting hurt because of her, but that she had two men she could depend on had her inner being calming and opening to life itself.

Choked on her emotions, Dee engrossed herself in her feelings.
