A Siren Erotic Romance

4 COCKTAILS: "Let’s face it. Taylor Brooks always writes an awesome M/M romance novel. I’m quickly becoming addicted to them. They’re not long, drawn out books, but still, they’re well written, the characters are always completely fleshed out, and the stories? Excellent! Talon, a fisherman who also hires out his boat for tours, and Jace, the town doctor, are a couple, but they have some issues that they’re desperate to overcome. That in itself is a great concept, but Ms Brooks also gives us a lot of action and mystery as well. This is the fourth book in the “Rocky Mountain Manhunt”. I admit that I’ve not read the first two (will be remedying that soon), but I have read the third. Thanks to that one, I know that there is a horrible evil on the loose in Absarokee, Montana. The FBI have come to town to help the sheriff’s department end that evil. Both parts of the plot collide in an exciting climax. “Tempting Talon” is a great book. The characters interact well with each other. The sex is hot and steamy. All in all it’s a very satisfying read. I highly recommend it." -- Kenna, Cocktails and Books
To say he was tired would be a massive understatement. This was the second day in a row that he had worked these types of hours and aside from being hungry, his feet were killing him. Actually, every joint and muscle in his body ached for some sort of relief.
He took the steps one at a time, holding onto the railing for support as he pushed himself to keep climbing. Turning forty sure had done a number on his stamina. He could no longer keep up with the sometimes demanding schedule of being a doctor. Looking back now, he wasn’t even sure how he worked the long hours he did as an intern. It seemed almost impossible that anyone could handle it, let alone himself.
Part of the reason he moved away from the city and to a small town was so he could relax a little bit more. He wanted to slow down and enjoy life. Granted that would be easier to do if the tourists who were sweeping through this mountain town weren’t so accident prone. In the past two days alone he had bandaged up more injuries and given more tetanus shots than he had in his first month of residency.
When Jace reached the top of the stairs he pulled out his key and fumbled with it in the dimly lit stairwell. He was so tired he wasn’t even sure if his eyes were open. It was sure dark enough to seem they weren’t.
The door opened before he had a chance to get the key in the hole and he looked up in surprise when he saw Talon. Warmth washed over him when he caught sight of his man giving him a sympathetic smile.
“Rough day? You look exhausted,” Talon asked.
“Normally I’d be offended, but I’m too damn tired to care.” Jace leaned in and kissed his lips before adding, “You’re a sight for sore eyes you know that?”
Talon grinned. He was usually a man of few words and did more expressing how he felt with actions than anything else. It took a while for Jace to get used to his ways, but now he wouldn’t have him any other way.
Jace stepped inside and smelled the tell-tale sign of his favorite sandwich. Corned beef, sauerkraut, and butter-fried bread lingered in the air.
“Is that what I think it is?” he asked while pulling his tie over his head.
“You know it is.” Talon walked into the kitchen and pulled a plate from the oven. “I wasn’t sure how long you’d be, but I saw the last patient leave so I knew you’d be up soon. I finished making it five minutes ago but wanted to keep it warm.”
Jace looked at the double-decked Reuben sandwich and all but cried. His taste buds had been craving one of those all day long. He had a Reuben at least once a week, but some days when he worked extra hard it was like heaven to him served up in between two slices of dark pumpernickel bread.
“Here sit down, babe. I even made you some fresh sweet tea.” Talon pulled out the chair for Jace to sit.
“Either I’m one lucky man, or you’ve done something really bad that you’re trying to make up for,” Jace teased.
Talon poured a glass of tea and slid it across the table. “You’re one lucky man.”
“I thought so.” He smiled before biting into the sandwich and moaning in pleasure.
“Did I do good? I know you usually make them, but I figured I’ve watched you enough times I couldn’t screw it up that badly.”
“Oh no…this is…so good,” Jace answered with a mouth full of food in between chewing. Normally he had wonderful table manners, but right now all he could think of was his growling stomach.
Jace poured himself a glass and replaced the pitcher in the refrigerator before sitting down across from Talon. “The tourist season has barely begun. How are you going to keep up these hours?”
“Well…I figure…” Talon finished a bite. “Sorry. God this is good. Anyway, as I was saying. I figure I can do one of two things. Either wrap all the tourists up in bubble wrap to keep them from injuring themselves amidst the myriad of stupid things they do. Or, I can stop taking non-emergent cases and refer those to Stillwater Community Hospital. Whichever I choose, I have to do it soon because I’m getting too old for these long hours. And if I have to listen to one more wailing child or some overprotective mom who insists I’m doing things wrong, I might just lose it and turn into Doctor Death instead of Doctor Atkins.”
“Poor baby.” Talon reached over and rubbed Jace’s shoulder. “It sounds like you could use a little TLC yourself. And probably a good night’s sleep.”
Jace only nodded as he continued to wolf down the contents of his sandwich which far surpassed his stomach’s hunger expectations. He hadn’t expected to find Talon at his apartment and figured he’d probably make himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and fall asleep on his couch. True to Talon’s nature he had surprised him once again, much like he’d been doing for the past several months.
He pushed the plate aside and let out a satisfied groan. “That was awesome. Thank you. It’s exactly what I needed.”
“You’re welcome, babe. I knew you’d be hungry. And besides…I generally try to give you what you need.” Talon winked while getting up from the table and taking the plate to the sink.
Jace chuckled. “Yeah. You’re pretty good at that. You must be psychic or something.”
“Nah…I just know how to read you.”
“Yeah? What am I thinking right now?”
Talon took the kitchen towel and snapped it against Jace’s shoulder. “You have a dirty mind.”
He was horny as all get-out and he would cry and stomp if he had to.
Plus, he had to admit that Jace looked extra sexy whenever he got frustrated with Talon acting like a big baby. There was something hot about seeing him getting all worked up.
Talon waited, wondering if Jace would take the bait, but he said nothing, just stared at him. Talon was no fool though. He knew Jace. He knew his body and his sex drive. Talon wasn’t an arrogant man, but Jace had always had a hard time turning him away. Not that Talon had ever turned him away either.
Jace looked at Talon’s cock, staring at it almost hungrily as he licked his lips. “Damn you, Talon.”
Talon couldn’t have held his grin back if someone had offered him a million dollars to keep a straight face. “Something wrong?”
Jace looked back up at him with annoyance. “You know damn well I can’t refuse you like this. Jesus, you’re like a damn drug, do you know that?”
Talon nodded his head downward in the direction of Jace’s pants. There was an obvious outline forming in the crisp dry-cleaned trousers. It would seem his good doctor was fixing to go camping because someone was pitching a tent.
“Looks like someone’s a little horny,” he teased.
When Jace didn’t respond, Talon made an attempt at seeming bored and no longer in the mood. “Okay, well I guess I’ll just eat my waffles and—”
“Stop.” Jace stopped him abruptly and wrapped his fingers around Talon’s cock. “You’re evil. You do realize that right?”
“Aww…that hurts. Why do you have to be so mean?” Talon asked.
“Upset your delicate sensibilities, did I?”
Talon nodded. “Yeah. You should probably kiss something to make me feel better.”
“Look at you. I fucking love how beautiful your cock is. When you get hard…your veins…it looks so damn good,” Jace said with a shaky voice.
There it was. That indication Talon had been looking for. Jace could joke with Talon and be a riot, but he had a “tell” which told Talon when it was no longer time for fun and games. It was now time for adult fun.
“You like my cock, baby? Tell me…what would you like to do to it?” he asked, loving how Jace always responded to his dominant streak.
“I think I’d rather show you.” Jace whispered the words.
Talon remembered how hot Jace’s mouth felt whenever he sucked him off. His cock must have remembered too, because with those few words his balls drew up and pre-cum leaked from his tip. Talon had no problem relinquishing a little bit of control so Jace could take what he wanted.
Reaching out, Talon cupped the side of Jace’s face and brushed his thumb across his cheek. “So show me, baby.”
“Damn it. I really have to go, but I can’t help myself. I want you so bad,” Jace answered while tightening his grip and continuing to stroke Talon’s cock.
Talon’s blood was really flowing now. The idea of getting a blow job was never a bad one, but getting sucked off by Jace, the man that he was crazy about and who looked at him with such thirsty eyes…there were no words to describe how that made him feel, though the phrase “ten feet tall and bulletproof” did come to mind.
“Yeah? I want things too. Some things you do…they drive me crazy,” Talon told him, still caressing his face with his hand.
He brought his thumb down and traced a line along Jace’s lower lip until he opened his mouth and took it in his mouth. The gentle sucking nearly did Talon in. He was surprised he didn’t come from that alone like a horny virgin teenager might have.
“Your mouth…it does such good things. Why don’t you use it on my cock?” Talon suggested. “Take me in your mouth, babe. Suck me off.”
“Oh God, Talon.” Jace rubbed at his hard-on through his trousers. “You drive me insane.”
An amused smile crossed Talon’s face. He so enjoyed it when Jace got into this desperate and needy mode. Nothing was a bigger turn-on than knowing how bad Jace wanted him. Just like the night before when Jace was begging to be fucked. Times like that were the greatest aphrodisiac he’d ever experienced.
“Show me. Prove to me how crazy I make you. Suck on me, make me come.”
Without hesitation, Jace moved on the bed and dipped his head down. Talon’s cock twitched in anticipation when Jace jumped to attention like a good little soldier.
A large droplet of pre-cum sat on Talon’s head and Jace looked up at him while he opened his mouth and swiped his tongue across the glistening moisture.
Jace moaned as he opened his mouth wider and closed his lips around Talon’s cock. No longer teasing him with a mere lick, Jace sucked his entire length into his mouth until Talon felt his head hit the back of Jace’s throat.
“Fuck yes! That’s it, baby. Take me. Take all of me!” Talon demanded.
He rested his head back against the headboard and ran his fingers through Jace’s hair until he had a firm grasp on the back of his skull. His fingers were kneading and massaging him as he fought the urge to start pumping into him with as much force as he’d given last night.
Fuck if Jace wasn’t the best lover he’d ever had. He was so submissive at times, focusing solely on giving Talon pleasure. The more Jace worked his head up and down the harder it was becoming to hold back. Every few times he could feel his cock hit the back of Jace’s throat, then his gag reflex would kick in and act like a damn vibrating sex toy against his dick.
Sweet agony was the only way to describe it. Sweet and unrelenting agony.
