[Siren Classic: Erotic Contemporary Romance, bondage, whipping, sex toys, HEA]
Sci-fi writer Matt has been told by his editor to include more sex in his stories, so he appeals to his cousin for help, who connives to get Matt alone with her housemate, Lissa, who has a huge crush on Matt. Bouncing ideas off each other, they amusingly analyze erotic romances at their meeting, like why the heroine always seems to wear front-clasped bras.
Startled by his attraction to her, he pretends he needs assistance with an imaginary story. Each time Lissa visits, he uses a scene from the story about two bounty hunters in space who make love to a girl they are delivering to her owner. After beginning to write this for real, these scenes gradually become more intimate, involving whipping, sex toys, and more until Matt and Lissa make love.
But is she just helping him for the story, or does she reciprocate his feelings?
A Siren Erotic Romance
4.5 STARS: "Matt is a sci-fi novelist, who appears to be relatively successful, because he doesn’t have to work at a ‘real’ job in order to support his writing habit, as most novelists do. However, his editor seems to think his ‘mostly for guys’ novels should contain a little sex appeal. Matt seems pretty clueless on that score, so he asks his cousin and her friends how to insert good sex that women would enjoy, into his novels. He gets an earful, but decides he needs more hands on information. He convinces Lissa to help him by acting out various scenes, and though she is shy at first, she soon gets into the sex with Matt. When are they going to realize that they have moved from writing the perfect sex scenes to loving each other? Matt goes from clueless to clued-in very quickly with the help of some erotic novels, some advice from Lissa, and some sex aids from the adult store. I liked the premise of Friendly Seduction, and I enjoyed Matt & Lissa’s fumbling attempts at eroticism. They say practice makes perfect and these two are very fast learners. A good fireside or beach read." -- Alberta, Manic Readers
5 CUPS: "Matt is a sci-fi author, not a romance writer. When his editor tells him more sex, more romance, more heat, he asks his cousin for help. Lissa has a huge crush on Matt, but she has no way of letting him know she finds him sexy. Every time he walks into the room, her tongue feels like it has been turned and twisted and pinned on the roof of her mouth. After setting up a meeting time with his cousin and her friends, Matt is shocked when he sees Lissa in the group of women who read erotica. As she begins to open up about what she likes and dislikes about the hedonistic novels, Matt really sees Lissa for who she is. When he needs help again, he finds himself alone with Lissa time and again instead of the group setting like the first time. What follows is some of the sexiest and erotic encounters that both Matt and Lissa have ever experienced. But what will happen when the novel is finally finished? Will they say goodbye to their experimentation, or hello to a newly discovered love? I loved, loved, LOVED Friendly Seduction! At times I found myself sighing because of the pure pleasure Matt took in discovering Lissa’s body. Other times, Ms. Denys had me laughing so hard at the less-than-stellar sexy performances that the words seemed to be jumping around on my eBook Reader. Reading this book was such a pleasure and I enjoyed each erotic encounter, whether it was pure sexual or had the humorous scenarios that made me fall in love with this tale. I want to read more by this author and I can only hope that her other stories will grip me from the getgo like this one has." -- Danielle, Coffee Time Romance and More
“So how many of these do you read?” he called out, not looking up.
“A week or a month?”
“Say, each week.”
He glanced up with a surprised expression on his face. “A week!”
“Yeah. I like reading.” She shrugged and turned away, embarrassed, then finished making the drinks and brought them over to the table.
“Okay—so clearly I’ve picked the right person to discuss what you like about them then.” He looked at her like he was seeing her for the first time.
She was startled by his direct stare and felt herself going red again. “I guess.”
After she sat down, he handed her one of the books he had picked up. “This one looks vaguely sci-fi. Tell me about it.”
Glancing at it, she giggled, glad he’d stopped his assessment of her. Taking the book he held out, she confidently summarized it as it was one of her favorites. “Okay—this is a fairly typical plot whereby most of the women on this planet have died off, so the remaining men are desperate for female company. Sometimes in these stories a woman lands or crash-lands on a planet. In this one she comes looking for her kidnapped sister from another country on this world and is taken hostage. Of course, the person taking her hostage is a prince—as they usually are—that or a king, or leader of some sort. You never have the man cleaning out the sewers getting the girl.”
Matt laughed loudly. “Typical. I might have known it from what you all told me the other day.”
Pleased she had made him laugh, Lissa smiled, her previous stutters over now that they were bantering. “Quite often the woman is expected to be in a ménage relationship in this situation.”
He goggled in surprise, his humor gone.
Noticing his expression, she stated, “Well, there are hardly any women left remember.”
“I know you mentioned this previously, but we didn’t go into it fully. What happens if she doesn’t like one or more of the guys? Surely that must happen.”
She sighed. “I have clearly failed to explain that all of the guys in a ménage have to be extremely good-looking and muscular or manly at the very least.”
He chuckled. “What about other virtues—kindness, compassion, gentleness, generosity, et cetera?”
“Oh, the hero shows those as well, but throughout the story. In the first instance she is attracted by his or their looks and their ability to dominate her. And don’t forget the importance of chemistry. Also, he never shows negative attributes like cruelty, laziness, picking his nose, having a hairy back, and so on. Those are reserved for the bad guys.” She finished the last three words with great emphasis.
Matt fell about laughing. “Okay, I can see there is no hope for the human race if women have such a high standard. We men won’t be able to supply it.”
Lissa giggled and, leaning forward to cup her face in her hands, said with a melodramatic sigh, “I’m afraid so. World population levels will fall.”
“So you’re telling me you like reading about ménage?”
That comment was unexpected, and Lissa jerked back, her hands dropping to the table. “Yes. Actually, Jessie is the lover of those books. She’s the person who gave that book to me.”
“How does Sam take that?” Matt wondered. “I can see I need to have an in-depth conversation with him.” He shook his head bemusedly.
“As I understand it, he is amused but refuses to let her have a ménage in real life. Not that I think she’d ever do it.”
“Hm. I will never look at her again in the same light.”
Lissa wasn’t sure she wanted him thinking about another woman in that way, married or otherwise. “Now this one,” she started to say as she reached for another book to break her troubled thoughts. “This is one of my favorites. The plot is the mistaken identity type of scenario.”
He frowned. “Explain?”
“The hero kidnaps the girl thinking she is someone else, and they find they are attracted to each other but fight it, of course. Eventually, after various trials and tribulations, they fall in love.”
“Stop being sarcastic.” She swatted a book in his direction. “These are romances. They have to fall in love. Anyway, I adore kidnap plots.”
Matt looked distracted.
“What’s up?” She suddenly seemed to have lost his attention.
“Huh—oh, you’re giving me ideas.”
“Matt. What are you doing?” she squeaked. “I’m going to fall over!”
Holding her steady he reassured her rubbing her hip, “No you’re not—you are held safely by this harness.”
“A harness, eh!”
Grinning at her growing excitement, he continued, “Okay I’m going to lift the other leg now, so lean back against the straps, and let them hold your weight.”
“Shh, it’s all right.” She did as he requested, and soon she was totally harnessed, swinging back and forth slightly. He then buckled the leg straps even tighter so her thighs were pulled back against her body.
“Oh, my God, Matt. Whatever this is, it is incredibly erotic!” She wiggled to get the feel of it.
He chuckled again. “That’s the idea. Now—back to our story.”
She groaned, clearly having forgotten that this was all for the book.
Undressing, he continued, “Felissa has been sold at an auction, but she doesn’t know who her new owners are.”
“Hang on a moment. You keep saying new owners. Plural. Does that mean more than one…? Oh God. I get it. Duh!”
Matt laughed. “No, you don’t get it, or at least pretend you haven’t. You—Felissa—have been stripped naked, bound, clamped, and harnessed, awaiting your unknown fate.” He stopped as she giggled at his hammy voice-over, and he swatted her butt in admonishment. “But wait, here come your new owners. You wait with bated breath, listening with all your being to every sound.” He moved to her side so he could whisper in her ear. “Do they sound heavy-footed? Do they sound heavy-breathing? Do they carry chains? The footsteps stop by her swinging body, and she gasps as one touches a breast, tugging on the chain.”
She did gasp loudly as he ran a thumb over her pebbled nipple and lightly pulled the chain.
He grinned at her reaction as a quiver went through her. “And another gasp as she feels a second person touch her sacred place.”
Her reaction this time was laughter.
Matt stood back startled. This was not what he expected.
“Her—sacred—place! Matt, really! I thought I’d cured you of idiotic phrases like that.” Her sarcastic comment was followed by moan as Matt got his own back and entered her pussy with one finger, sliding in and out of her wetness easily, a thumb pushing through her curls to caress her clit. “Oh, God.”
“No more sarcastic comments then?” he asked softly as he pressed two fingers into her moving in and out slowly.
Lissa whimpered, “No. I promise. Christ, that’s good.” Her breathing was getting erratic.
When he removed his fingers from her pussy she cried out, but then he reached down and eased one wet finger into her anus.
She bucked forward. “Oh shit. Matt!”
“Shh. Felissa is beside herself with arousal from Garin’s fingers caressing her pussy and clit when Rayn comes on the other side and eases himself into her butt very slowly.” He felt her tense and quietly reassured her, “Don’t worry. I’m only putting a finger in, but imagine Rayn is inside you.” He proceeded to move his finger back and forth gently pushing deeper and deeper until he felt her relax. He then withdrew his finger and swiftly inserted a small butt plug. “This is Rayn.”
Groaning as he did this, she started panting deeply. “Hell. So that’s what a butt plug feels like. I guess that’s what you’ve just put inside me.”
“Is it okay?” He had been concerned about inserting one into her as he had never used one before, on her or anyone else for that matter. The original reason he had been doing all these things like the whipping and all was because she had been quite categorical about how much she liked reading about them. But actually he found he had loved every minute. He’d become a convert to erotic romances and they gave him tons of ideas for what he could do to her.
“Oh yes.” He smiled widely at her enthusiastic response.
Quickly wiping his fingers, he moved between her hips taking hold of them. Widening his stance to steady himself, he lifted her slightly within the harness and pushed his cock, which was pretty hard by now, slowly into her dripping pussy. “And this is me. Well, Garin.” He paused a moment to savor the feel of her clenching passage around his cock and then eased out, almost to the tip, and plunged back in, moaning at how tight her pussy felt with the plug in her ass. He groaned in ecstasy. It was sheer heaven.
