I love this book. It was very good to see Thadeus finally get rewarded for his patience. Reading this book as a stand alone is not a good idea. There is a lot of history for all of these characters throughout the series.

5 STARS: "There is only one thing hotter than reading about some sweet MM lovin…reading about super sweet MMM lovin! It is so erotic reading about strong, sexy and confident bad-asses who can’t keep their hands off of each other! Going Under, the 9th book in the outstanding Heroes of Silver Springs series, is the culmination of tons of flirting and foreplay between Adrien, Thaddeus and Cameron that has been going on in previous installments. I would definitely recommend reading a few books in this series before giving this one a go. One of my favorite parts of the series is that Ms. Ramagos adds in depth secondary story lines featuring other characters, and this one stars the bold EMT Terri Vega and a man who just may be her perfect mate, Dr. Owen Banks. Terri in particular is featured prominently in Going Under as Thaddeus’ best friend and confidant. All of the characters are wonderfully written, and the sexual heat and chemistry between the men is simply off the charts! Even their relationships with their professional colleagues are realistic and charismatic. Ms. Ramagos is a talented author with her ability to combine combustible sex and intrigue into an excellent read that will please fans of any erotic romance genre." -- Silla Beaumont, Just Erotic Romance Reviews

4.5 KISSES: "Going Under by Tonya Ramagos is the ninth book in the Heroes of Silver Spring series and while this story can be read as a standalone, you would better understand the subtle nuances if you read the previous books in the series. Though, I will note that I have only read one other book in this series and I was able to grasp the friendship and relationship easily. Additionally, I may have enjoyed this story less had I read more about the stalled relationship of the men in previous stories. Adrien is struggling with his feelings for Cam and Thaddeus. He has only had one hot encounter with Thaddeus, but he lets him know he has feelings for Cam and is unsure what he can offer him. Thaddeus has loved Adrien for years and is willing to wait for Adrien to know what he wants. His understanding is expanded when he meets Cam while out of town at a competition. As he gets to know Cam, he too begins to have feelings for the charismatic FBI agent. Cam knows that he is keeping both men on a string. He is afraid to accept love but also unwilling to let the friendship that is growing between him and Adrien, as well as him and Thaddeus go. He knows the attraction between the men is off the charts and is struggling to understand that more than friendship is at play. Ms. Ramagos wrote a wonderful tale which allowed her readers to understand the differing needs of each man. The love they each had was separate between the men. You knew that the decision to have a ménage relationship would fit the feelings all the men had. They were not together for any other reason than that they loved each other, separately and together. They were unable to choose one without the other. The men were strong characters and Ms. Ramegos fully developed each character outside their relationship. She also allowed us a peek of a growing relationship that I am looking forward to seeing blossom." -- Tangie, TwoLips Reviews

4.5 SWEET PEAS: "Going Under by Tonya Ramagos is the story of three sexy men dealing with their feelings for each other and the conflicts caused by their jobs. Adrien, a DEA agent, has been torn between his feelings for Cameron, a fellow agent who works for the FBI, and Thaddeus, a firefighter. To complicate matters, the other two men admit that they have feelings for each other and for him as well. This story is well written with characters who are faced with feelings that leave them conflicted but they are able to get past the heartache and confusion to form a unique relationship that satisfies every one of their needs. The sex in the story is very passionate and tender with more to it than just scratching an itch and I couldn’t help but be touched by the depth of the emotions behind it. The style of writing is crisp, clean and to the point without wandering all over. I really enjoyed reading this fascinating story about the complex and very moving relationship between the three main characters who fight to reconcile their deep feelings for each other and the unique solution that they come up with. Combined with the gritty, no holds barred glimpse into the murky world of drugs, deception, and manipulation, the dedication of the three men determined to stop the destruction of innocent lives by drugs, the author gives all three of the main characters the HEA that they are looking for. This story is absolutely enthralling with enough drama, angst, passion, and action to satisfy me and I really recommend it to everyone." -- Trish, Mrs. Condit Reads Books

4 CUPS: "Cameron, an FBI agent, has no concept of love. It is a fantasy that eventually turns to pain. Despite his beliefs, he is incapable to let go of Adrien and Thaddeus. Adrien, the sexy detective, is hopelessly caught between two men–unable to be with either or let them go. Just when he is ready to let one go, hope refuses to die. Thaddeus, the hot firefighter, has always loved Adrien, but stands on the outside because of the other man. He is helpless to give up hope, until he meets the other man and cannot deny the attraction. Dragged together under the trio, they must find a way or evil will overcome the fractured souls in denial. Each man has his own agenda. Cameron needs to find a kidnapped sibling while Adrian is looking for the connection to the newest drug on the street killing the customers. At first, Going Under is a painful story to read. The characters’ emotions are vividly portrayed for the reader to feel. Going Under is a sexy read with three heroes who must learn how to be together or lose the ones they love. I have turned every page hoping the trio would discover the strength of love before evil yanks away their opportunity." -- Delane, Coffee Time Romance & More

4 STARS: "I love stories that have romance, conflicted lovers, action and also sub plots with some added danger. Tonya Ramagos delivers all of those things and more in her latest installment of The Heroes of Silver Springs series, book number nine, Going Under. In this story we finally get to find out what happens to FBI agent Cameron Stone, DEA agent Adrien Bingham and firefighter Thaddeus Carter. Things came to a head for all three characters in the last book and readers were left to wonder how these three men were going to end up, with each other or would one be left out and alone without a lover? This is a ménage, so if that isn’t your thing, then don’t bother going any further. I have to say that I have read lots of ménage stories and this is the first that has been m/m/m. I was waiting to see how these guys would sort things out because they and their story were left up in the air in the last book. There are a number of sub plots going on, a missing fellow FBI agent who was undercover with an extremely dangerous drug cartel, the stirrings of a romance between Terri, a female firefighter and a doctor she meets when on duty, and cartel related drug activities to mention just a few things. This means that while the focus of the book is on the relationship between Cameron, Adrien and Thaddeus, occasionally they get pushed to the back and others are brought to the fore and serve as vehicles which are used to make things happen in the story. Ms. Ramagos writes hot and sexy characters who have relationship issues that they need to work through, but all of them are intrinsically nice people. Cameron is so gun shy of commitment due to his family history and the previous book was actually about how his sister overcame her commitment issues. The two siblings made a pact never to be dependent on someone who would leave them like their mother was left and destroyed emotionally by their father. Of course, they made that pact while they were children, so things change, but habit is a hard thing to break. Cameron has fallen in love with both Thaddeus and Adrien but none of them actually have any idea of how to go further. They all have feelings for each other yet it takes the three of them a while to actually get together and try to address some of the issues. Terri is the one who provides them with a solution that no one had even considered and so the male ménage becomes a possibility if they can overcome their fears and don’t get killed in the line of duty. I loved the interaction between the three guys. Actually most of the time it was just two and then another two together but the scenes with the three were explosive and emotional and to see barriers fall and love gain an upper hand was amazing. I can’t wait for the next book because I want to find out what happens to Terri and her man, but more importantly what happens to the missing FBI agent. I can imagine that his would be a really exciting story. I enjoyed reading the story of Cameron, Adrien and Thaddeus. Grab yourself a copy of Going Under and I think you will, too!" -- Sabine, Manic Readers

STORY EXCERPT

He hadn’t spent as many nights on the phone with Cameron as he knew Adrien had over the years, but the nights that he had since he had returned to Waterston coupled with the memories of actually being with Cameron had been enough to etch a place in Thaddeus’s mind and heart.

“He might, but…”

“But?” Thaddeus prompted when Adrien trailed off.

Adrien made a face. “I don’t know what I would say, what I should say?”

Thaddeus angled his head. “Because you still want both of us?”

“Yes.” Adrien threw his head back and made a sound of part lunacy and part mystification. “God, it’s crazy, but yes.”

“What makes it crazy is that I understand.” The moment he had met Cameron, the instant he had realized that Cameron was the other man in Adrien’s life, he had understood. He had immediately comprehended why Adrien had been so fucked up over Cameron the last couple of years, especially when, in the end, Thaddeus found himself in the same awkward position.

“Because you feel it, too. You want it, too. Don’t you?”

“Yeah.” Thaddeus moved his hand from Adrien’s shoulder, danced his fingertips along the side of Adrien’s neck, and cupped Adrien’s nape. “I love you.” Adrien’s quick intake of breath didn’t surprise him. He had felt that way for a long time, had even admitted it to Cameron, but he had never said the words to Adrien. “But there’s something about Cameron. I don’t know. I can’t explain it, but he pulls at my heartstrings, too, just like I know he’s always done with you. The question is, what do we do about it?”

Adrien swallowed, his gaze dropping to Thaddeus’s mouth. Thaddeus pressed his body against Adrien’s and barely kept himself from closing his eyes as the sensation of Adrien’s solid warmth invaded his system.

“I don’t know.” Adrien’s breath fanned Thaddeus’s mouth as he dipped his head down, stopping his lips a scant inch from Thaddeus’s. “Every time I think I do, something changes.”

Thaddeus couldn’t help himself. He couldn’t stop. He kissed Adrien, the lightest brush of his lips to Adrien’s at first. Then Adrien’s lips parted on a sigh, and Thaddeus took it for the invitation he hoped it was. He slipped his tongue inside Adrien’s mouth, tangled it with Adrien’s, and, God, this was what he had been craving for so very long.

Adrien’s hands slid around Thaddeus’s waist, wrapped around his back, and he pulled Thaddeus so tightly against him even oxygen had trouble getting between them. Adrien angled his head, taking the kiss deeper, and Thaddeus lost himself in Adrien’s taste, in the euphoria of being in the man’s arms again.

“Geezus, I’ve missed this,” Adrien confessed as he wrenched his mouth from Thaddeus’s. “Holding you, kissing you, being with you.”

Making love to you? Say it, Adrien. Jesus God, please let him say it.

If he did, there was no way Thaddeus would be able to walk away from him tonight until they made love. As he stared into Adrien’s eyes, he knew the other man was thinking it. He felt Adrien’s rigid cock pressing insistently against his lower gut, felt the desire to continue what they had just started pumping off Adrien in waves of heated torment.

“I’ve missed it, too,” Thaddeus whispered. “Let’s not go so long from now on, okay. Unless you decide Cam is the only one you want to be with.”

Adrien rested his forehead against Thaddeus and didn’t say anything for several long heartbeats. “Nothing will happen tonight. I want you to know that. Nothing will happen between me and Cameron when I get home.”

“Maybe it should.” Thaddeus couldn’t believe what he was saying. Except, the suggestion seemed to make a super weird kind of sense. It felt oddly right.

“Are you telling me to go home and fuck Cameron tonight?” Sheer disbelief rang in Adrien’s tone.

Thaddeus wouldn’t have put it that crudely. Make love to Cameron would have been his word choice. He didn’t know for certain that Adrien was in love with Cameron, but he knew the other man’s feelings for Cameron ran pretty deep. Hell, his own feelings for Cameron teetered on the edge of falling head over tennis shoes for Cameron and he already knew he loved Adrien.

“I’m telling you to go with what feels right when you get home.” Thaddeus toyed with the back of Adrien’s hair as he spoke, loving the way the silky strands glided through his fingers. “If he’s still awake, talk to him, tell him whatever you want, and see where it goes. You’ve had sex with me. To the best of my knowledge, you never have with Cameron.”

“I haven’t.”

“Maybe you should, babe.” Thaddeus lifted a shoulder. “Maybe it will help to sort things out in your head.”

“And you would be okay with that?” Adrien sounded baffled. “Not saying I will, but you would be okay with knowing that you have spent the last three plus hours getting me all hot and bothered and then sent me home to have sex with another man.”

“Not just any other man. Cameron. The man who has us both in knots,” Thaddeus pointed out. “You’ve already said, in so many words, that you aren’t planning on going home with me.”

“I could never do that to you, have sex with Cameron after being here with you tonight.” Adrien’s eyes filled with so much sincerity, so much love that Thaddeus found it hard to keep up the conversation.

“I’m just telling you that if you do, I’m fine with it. I’ll be jealous as shit,” he added quickly, brightly, trying to lighten the mood. “But I’m okay with it.”

“Jealous of whom? Me? Or Cameron?”

“God, baby.” Thaddeus chuckled. “You really know how to ask the mother of all questions, don’t you?”

Adrien’s lips unfolded in a smile that was both amused and understanding. “You don’t have to answer. I already know.”

ADULT EXCERPT

“Sweetie,” Adrien breathed, reaching blindly for Thaddeus’s shoulder. “You’ve got to stop that and let me get off of Cameron before I hurt him.”

“Trust me, baby, I’m not feeling a thing right now,” Cameron said softly, his breath labored, his voice consumed with heat, lust, and love.

Thaddeus repeated the path his tongue had taken, extending the trail up to Adrien’s throat, his chin, and then, God, yes, to his mouth. Adrien expected a featherlight kiss like those Thaddeus had laid on his back, on his abdomen and chest, on his throat and jaw. He expected Thaddeus to continue to tease, to heighten the wicked flames Thaddeus had ignited inside him.

He got the heightened flames, all right, but they came in the form of an explosion that sent him soaring as Thaddeus crushed his mouth to his. The kiss screamed of pure sex. It was a no-holding-back, I’m-so-glad-you’re-finally-mine kind of kiss. And Adrien felt it in every erogenous zone in his body. Then Thaddeus eased back, turned to Cameron, and Adrien watched as he delivered the same mind-altering, sinfully delicious kiss to the other man’s mouth.

Adrien took that opportunity to move, climbing off the bed on Cameron’s opposite side, and taking the liberty of removing the shorts he still wore from his short afternoon on the boat. His gaze dropped to his hands as he freed the button and lowered the zipper, but a prickling sensation along the fine hairs at the back of his neck had him looking up again. Cameron and Thaddeus were watching him, their heated gazes locked on his groin.

“Well, why did you stop?” Thaddeus asked, not bothering to lift his eyes.

Adrien let out a breathless laugh. “Because I suddenly felt like I had become the primary item on an all-you-can-eat buffet.”

“Yeah?” Cameron shifted his gaze to Thaddeus. “I think he’s pretty close, don’t you?”

Thaddeus grinned at the man. “Definitely.”

“That’s not how this is going to play out.” Adrien finished removing his shorts and pushed his boxers down his legs. He snagged a condom from the pocket of his shorts before kicking both articles of clothing to the side. “You, sweetie,” he told Thaddeus as he unwrapped the condom, “are wearing entirely too many clothes.”

“Oh, that’s an easy fix.” Thaddeus slid off the other side of the bed and made gloriously quick work of removing his clothes.

Adrien started to chuckle, but the sound got lost in another moan as his gaze fell down Thaddeus’s marvelously naked flesh. The man’s body was all hard-toned muscle and mouthwatering sinews that splintered Adrien’s thoughts and had his entire body screaming with the need to feel and taste.

“Maybe for you but, damn, sweetie, I can’t think now.”

Thaddeus shot him a toothy grin full of boyish mischief. “Well, I can, and I believe you were in the process of sheathing that spectacular cock that I desperately want inside me while I get to work on getting someone out of the rest of his clothes.” He moved to the foot of the bed, climbed onto his knees on either side of Cameron’s legs, and carefully walked his way up. His hands found the waistband of Cameron’s sweats and slowly began peeling the pants off Cameron’s hips.

Cameron helped by bracing his weight on his hands on either side of his hips and lifted them, allowing Thaddeus to pull the jogging pants all the way down, wincing as the move obviously aggravated his thigh.

Cameron’s sweats gone, Thaddeus still straddling the man’s legs, Thaddeus put his weight on one arm as he bent forward, curling his fingers of his free hand around Cameron’s ridged cock. Cameron sucked in an audible breath, and Thaddeus turned his head to Adrien, his dazzling eyes gleaming. “Is this what you had in mind?”

Only in my dreams. Adrien kept the thought to himself as his gaze moved slowly from Cameron’s face, down the man’s torso, skipped to Thaddeus’s head, and continued down Thaddeus’s body.

He had dreamt of this. All those lonely nights when he had lain in his bed staring at the ceiling, tormenting himself with memories and fantasies of both men, he had eventually fallen asleep only to wake short of breath, his cock aching, his heart splitting because scenes like this had played out in his dream world. He might be short of breath now, too, and yeah, his cock ached, but he was fully awake with a heart fit to bursting from happiness and love. This wasn’t a dream. It was real. And it was right.

“It’s exactly what I have in mind.” Adrien took a gamble, pulled open the drawer of Thaddeus’s bedside table, and found the tube of lube he sought. Both men watched him as he sheathed his cock with the condom, then spread a generous amount of lube down his shaft. He moved to the foot of the bed, assessing the amount of room he would have, and met Cameron’s gaze over Thaddeus’s head. “Is this going to work for you?”

Cameron looked at the ceiling. Adrien had already forgotten the mirrors hanging above the bed, but the other man obviously hadn’t. He met Adrien’s gaze again, a slow smile full of more joy than Adrien had ever seen on the man’s handsome face unfolding on his lips. “Yeah, it’s going to work for me just fine.”

Adrien crawled onto the bed behind Thaddeus, splayed his hands on the man’s back, and glided one down to the man’s waist, continuing with the other to the man’s ass. Thaddeus dipped his head. Adrien felt as much as saw Cameron shiver, and he knew Thaddeus had taken the man’s cock into his mouth. He saw Cameron’s hands fist the sheets on either side of his hips, and he met Cameron’s gaze as he positioned his cock at the entrance of Thaddeus’s ass.
